I love them. none of that shit baggage of Forgotten Realms. They are demon worshipers, chief among their gods is Lolth who is and always was a Demon Prince, but they also worship other Demon Princes. Their cities are full of decadence and cruelty. The walls of Erlelhai-Cinlu was covered with murals and sculptures of profane and sexual acts between drow and demons. Slaves come mostly from other Drow, but outsiders do make exotic ones. Drow are not inherently evil, as the first adventure that prominently featured them had neutral drow as well, former slaves that seek to pull off the yoke of oppression from the many Houses that rule their society.
