So I'm having some issues with my Pathfinder group right now.
I was stupid and managed to give them a few too many opportunities for wishes, and now they're pretty overpowered. What's the best way to cut them down to size, without throwing encounters at them? I have a story reason why creatures would be getting more rampant, but that feels like a cop out to me.
Also yes I know it was retarded to give my players wishes but at the time it seemed harmless.
their wishes were cursed and now they have to bear big downsides for keeping whatever they wished for.
make up a downside for each thing they wished for, it could be permanent (but smaller than the upside) or trigger only some times.

Plan your next game better, then wrap this one up.

Pathfinder is built to scale over vast tiers of play from 'peasant who just picked up his sword' to ' demigod'.
Therefore you just escalate. Whatever the players were dealing with before is trivial in comparison to whatever world ending threat (ancient dragon, aboleth, barbarian army, planar portal etc) exists now.

How much OP are they?
What did they wish for?
