: Find people interesting enough to keep playing with
rd stage: Design the worlds, characters, and learn the joy of creation
th stage: In an effort to make worlds and games pop out, pursue higher scholarly interests to create an interesting world
th stage: Realize that a game's rules control a game's narratives. Begin to research game theory as well to help supplement a world to your ideal creation
th stage: Grow slightly frustrated as you begin to rapidly cycle through games. The second one loses your interest because of how it affects your narrative, move onto the next one.
th Stage: Attempt homebrew. Struggle to find players who are interested in playing in it long term.
th Stage: Find no such players. Abandon homebrew.
th Stage: Realize there is nothing that fits games the way you want, and nobody is interested in what you have to offer.
Final Stage: Abandon the hobby.
