>It may surprise you to discover that Aberrant is not a superhero game.
Why create a superhero game and then say it's not a superhero game?

It's kind of the same thing with MnM, it has a superhero theme but with the innate variety that comic book characters come in (for better or worse) thanks to the four color rule or whatever, it (at least from what I know with MnM) leads itself to be adaptable to a lot of different settings and such, including sci fi or high fantasy adventures.

That writer was a fucking asshole, whose opinion can be discarded, regardless of how much work they put into the game.
I mean, yes, 90s superhero stories could also get pretty far up their own ass, which is what Aberrant was going for, but the 'This is Not the Superfriends' intro is one of the five worst bits of White Wolf writing ever.

>The falacy of authorial intent
Just because somebody made a thing doesn't mean they understand it
Man I'm actually pretty pumped for 2e. Mostly because at least WW has gotten way better at mechanics writings over the long years.

The writer was an asshole and it was peak 90s. Super Hero comics got stupidly dark and white wolf was stupidly dark.
Put two and two together.
