>You get asked to get a special ointment from a store in a small nameless village, less than 40 inhabitants
>The shop is manned by an old, kind widow
>She's in her late years, and the village takes care of her so she has no need for money, instead she asks you to help her get the ointment from the attic (She doesn't usually have many people buying it)
>You need to get a step ladder first tough, thankfully the carpenter is willing to help if you wait for him to finish an errand
>After obtaining the ladder, you realize the attic door is stuck, so the blacksmith agrees to unlock the door if you spend some time with his kid
>Kid says he's lonely there as he's the only child in the entire village, he gets taught by the librarian who's in her late 40s, kid wishes he could live in the city and go to a school with all the other kids
>Party goes back and the door is finally unstuck revealing the pantry with the remaining Ointments
>It's revealed there's only one ointment left in the multiple stacked, yet empty boxes, the widow seems saddened and feels bad of letting it go, but gives it to you with a smile on her face as she bids you farewell
>As you leave, a young couple is seen packing their furniture on a caravan and leaving the village alongside with you

Not sure what to tell you, but that the story gives off a sense of relatively subtle sadness, and this kind of nuanced storytelling is rare and pleasant to see in this hobby.
Also, Shuna no Tabi is an absolutely beautiful piece of art, fantastic tale with fantastic art and fantastic, subtle worldbuilding.
So massive props for both.

>The Coffee shop owner needs help in making her special brew
>She asks you to head to the shop a few miles from hers
>Shop is manned by a kind gentleman that knows the shop lady by name, but hardly talks with her due to the busy nature of his job
>He sells you the remaining ingredients for the brew, but tells you that the people have gone out of business and he's starting to lose the stock
>You come back and inform the lady>Instead of selling the remaining special coffee, she invites you to drink some of it with her, alongside the ingredient shop owner
>You're given a thermo with some of the special coffee as a thanks, and leave the two to chat and drink among themselves

What kind of shitty party requires the services of multiple hirelings just to enter a mundane attic? Even a bunch of first level adventurers should have more than enough equipment and expertise to retrieve that ointment on their own.
