What are some essential worldbuilding books /tg/?
I already have The Primal Order and one of Gygax's books but it doesn't seem enough.

If /his/ tried to to an alternate version of the Napoleonic Wars with Magic and Fey in the Setting... it still wouldn't be as autistically detailed as this is.

True, and he was also inventing the very medium he was working in, treading new ground at the time. A lot of OSR sacred cows like Extreme Tablemancy were based on him overly stuffing AD&D with resolutions to every possible scenario a DM could be faced with because he himself was still puzzling over the thing he'd created.
