I'm curious what he's going to look like in the next movie with no Anno at the helm. I'm guessing what'll happen is he'll wake up, get nuked, and stop trying to Manzilla once he realizes that in order to stay alive against that kind of firepower, he has to stay as a kaiju. Sometimes those defeats stick, such as the oxygen destroyer in the original, sometimes they don't, like time traveling to his origin point and instead creating Ghidorah.

Godzilla loses in most films in which he isn't the hero, including to King Kong, Mothra, Kiryu, the Oxygen Destroyer, Destroya and probably more i'm forgetting.

There's also the part where Destroyah godzilla has the whole "When this guy dies he exlplodes so hard the planet goes with him" power. At the VERY BEST you'd get a draw, but seeing as godzilla is strong enough to not die from a black hole at his peak, the tyranids ain't got shit on him

Godzilla loses, and embarrassingly so, a pretty large number of times. He's raw power, but half the time he needs help to fight his enemies, and another half of that he gets wrecked. He only straight up wins about 1/4 of his encounters.
