Has anyone actually taken a good look at the leaks without letting the fantasy of pirates vs aztec dinosaurs vs merflok vs catholic vampires cloud their judgement?
It seems like a "best of" the past couple years, even though that absically means average at best. We have treasure tokens replacing clue tokens, vehicles are returning, raid is returning, shards are back, and to top it off a lot of the leaked cards, not just the creatures, are incredibly high cost, perservering WotC stance on wanting everything to be "midrangey" only.
I got a bad feeling about this block.

Vehicles returning isn't really a bad thing. Once and dump set mechanics suck as they end up with basically no support.

Oh and also possibly double faced cards, but that's pure speculation due to a slightly larger cardpool than recent big sets.

As long as they're balanced better, but given that the ships belong to the grixis pirates and have a high chance to continue supporting mardu vehicles instead of other playstyles I dunno. I was hoping vehicles would stick to more artifact-based sets.

Having vehicles be regular is fine to me. We get equipment in every set, so standardizing another subtype is okay as long as they keep it interesting.
Endless functional reprints and trash vehicles are likely what we're going to get instead of new ideas, or vehicles with abilities that are relevant after their relevance as creatures have ended.
