op here, dabbled in this franchise for a while and it's just interest on deconstructing the race, dividing the immediate artistic appearance and cultural patterns\constructs. Wanna to move on to real non-imaginary women. Fine. Like the others said, they base the race off Native American tropes, which for some reason means that the more primitive the culture, the less clothes they wear.
