What are some games where the combat feels dynamic and impactful? Meaning, systems where things tend to move along quickly and doing something in the fight has a lot of impact instead of simply taking away abstract resources or something like that? Something where you aren't just attacking until someone is dead.
Feels like so many systems are just "Punch them in the HP equivalent, doing anything else is situational at best." Fuck that, I want games where people are getting thrown around, the situation is changing and things just *happen*.
Please help /tg/, I can't really stand any more combat where everyone is just taking potshots at each other until someone falls over.

GURPS does this very well, especially if you add Martial Arts into the mix to expand on grappling, shoves, slams, etc.
