>Mystery fucking wizard has set up portals that lure and trap demons by banishing them to their own plane.
>We go through one of these unknowingly
>Trapped in a square mile of anti-magic field hellscape.
>Demons talk to us
>2 sessions pass of demon roleplaying because this is how the DM gets his kicks.
>Sessions are glacial.
>No end in sight because "Campaign realism"

Running Curse of Strahd with others. Got a kenku cleric with us. RP'ing the crow mimicry is the most laughs we've had at the tables.

Side with the demons? Or is there still not way to get out because his wizard is flawless and thought of everything?

Before I become unnecessarily angry about this, I'm going to need more information.
How was the party lured into the banishment-lure portal? Were you mislead into entering it by the GM, or was it a fault of the players, like a failed arcana check, for example?
What does the demon RP entail, and does it seem like it's leading to your eventual escape?
What do you suppose the DM wants from the players? Is there something he's expecting from you, or is he just holding your characters hostage in his though-prison for shits and giggles?
