The area around the Well is opportunity for fresh starts. For some, it is opportunity to roll the dice again and with their own strength and skill forge a new path for themselves, even if they had to leave their old life behind. "Fritz" acts as the chef for one of the many travelling caravans, mostly making nourishing but bland stews from whatever the caravan has available at the moment. And sausages. Fritz's speciality as Dragon Chef is dragon, or at very least something that has been near a dragon, sausages. As there's very little an angry ogre with big enough grinder cannot stuff in a sausage, they contain magical properties that, gods willing, are not replicated anywhere else. A supply of sausages is provided for the caravan guards and hunters to encourage them to never get into situtation desperate enough to need them. If eaten, they are surprisingly tasty, have a curiously 'crunchy' texture and encourage the eater to possess no imagination whatsoever.

Fritz tutors Isabella in art of Spelldish, despite her refusal to get anywhere near the grinder, and maintains friendly yet professional relationship with the alchemist Runescar, whom he hopes will be able to one day cure the mutations in his body.

As the caravan travels around the well, Fritz delivers to persons suggested by Calliana small packages containing dried, cured, pickled, and if the recepient hasn't been warned, sausaged dragon parts. Technically none of it is illegal as authorities aren't yet aware of the contents' existance.

Question for the more expierenced authors here: Do you create your CYOAs as one project and split it into multiple pages once it's complete or do create a new project file for each page?
I did WotZB a page at a time because I could find organic places to put page breaks and I already had an idea of how I wanted to organize everything and in Fortune's Cookie I just matched Celt's page sizes.
For Guardian Spirit, though, I'm trying out just having one .pnd and it's been helpful, but I can't really figure out a good place to put transitions to end the pages in a way that doesn't feel like it's seperating sections that should be connected.
And that's a problem because I'm not even halfway through it and its currently 1200x9600 and the .pnd file is almost 9 fucking GB.
I'd like to try and have it flow in a way similar to Dream of Genie, since that's probably the best comparison of how the final CYOA will be laid out, but I'd love any advice or tips you guys have.

That's a lot fucking smarter than what I usually do. My particul flavor of autism prevents me from making pages that aren't all the exact same deminsions.
I was hoping to have the first page include the Become or Receive A Guardian, Choose Your Type of Binding, and all the appearance options.

I start by creating a look for any specific cyoa. Then I'll usually do a base background at 10x vertical and additions to the background that I can move around to crop the page smaller if needed. 1 page per psd file and sometimes I'll save iterations of said psd files just in case I need to go back after a major change.

Multi page ones are usually all the same size per page but don't have to be. I just find it easier to work within the confines of a size i've set for all pages.

And 4 and 10 especially both address the biggest issue at hand for our species, which is that our planet is dying within the next couple of centuries and our way of life is dependent on continuing to do the things that are killing it. Even if we don't make it uninhabitable, we will run out of fuel and thus energy (in the vast quantities at which we consume it).
