It's bizarre. I've seen West Virginians flying the CSA flag despite the fact that their state literally seceded from the Confederacy. Ohioans really have no excuse. In the South proper it's usually used as a general-purpose middle finger to the Federal government and/or liberals, so I assume Yankees use it for similar reasons...? Still kinda boggles my mind.

The actual racists flying it are thankfully a distinct minority, but good Lord are they obnoxious. You know 'em when you see 'em - other anons are not exaggerating when they describe inbreds abusing it. It's actually repulsive. I love the countryside in general, but those strange, isolated little communities can be downright eerie. I live not too far from one of the last areas in North Carolina to host significant Klan activity, so this is some degree of personal experience speaking.

So I've got a pretty chill (to the point of almost heretical tolerance of non-imperial humans and non-threatening xenos) OC Salamanders Successor (Quest I did when I was a teenager and a short-lived RT campaign with my family) in my shitty trailer. He won't be too impressed with the state of my home, but then I suppose it's worth the trade-off. Pretty much a Reasonable Marine from a crazier, more fire-cult-y branch directly descended from Papa Vulkan.

How many calories do space marines need in a day? Their faster-than-the-human-eye-can-track speed has to come from somewhere. They'd need like, a compact nuclear reactor for a stomach.
