Humans dig too deep, discover Hell, meet demons, fight ensues, everyone bargains for peace and/or armistice.
Skip two centuries, people start mining operations in Hell, dig too deep, discover Super-Hell.

Basically, a crossover between Doom and Dwarf Fortress.

Nephilim?
Long ago God created mankind to rule over his creation and Angels as servants. Some angels revolted and swore to be at war against God and Mankind. Amongst them were succubi, whose prime purpose were to seduce humans. But then succubi and humans fell in love with each other and interbred. Thus nephilim were created. Nephilim inherited traits of both of their parents, were arrogant and wrathful. Under their King Nimrod, they waged war against their parents, thus mankind and demons were forced to unite to defeat their abominational children.

Gods can only continue to gain followers as long as their host species is still alive. As such the survival of humanity trumps everything else in importance, so much so that warring gods will team up to protect humanity if it is necessary. Threaten humanity's continued survival with that of a xenos threat and watch the demons and angels come out of the woodwork to fight alongside the mortals.
>>

Something that threatens free will. Humans value it for obvious reasons, but so do demons because corruption and infernal pacts operate on consent.

>>

Heaven is not seen as a good thing from the perspective of many living men or women with their human feelings they are attached to.
Maybe nothing would of you as a person would be left, redempted humans would have their flaws, ego and personal desires burned to only leave place to selfless love of God and it's just a price too heavy to pay for many.
Heaven is maybe too great for us and we don't really want to make the near infinite effort to deserve it, being judged without veil by its inquisitive light.

So humans just want to continue being humans and demons want to stop the apocalypse for obvious reasons.

no, in hebrew feminine ending is with letter "hei", (so it would be ruah) but it ends on "Kheth" (so Ruakh)
But discussing these genders are in my opinion pointless, as semitic languages give everything their grammatical gender. Masculine applies to both neutral and masculine genders.
Also there are clearly male entities that have feminine plurals ("av" (father)-"avot"(fathers), whule it should be "avim")

>Digimon are by their very nature furshit as they came from anthropomorphic animals
Only some digimon have animalistic base forms you mong. Others can be monsters, zombies, caricatures, robots, plants, machines, and anything else in between. The only commonality amongst them is the fact that all life and entities in the digital world are born from just stacked up piles of data that have coalesced into physical forms

Further, the nature how truthful your statement is depends vastly on which generation's canon we're following. Some Digimon evolve naturally as they age and will stay in that form, while other are more fluid in their digivolution depending on the current canon and lore.

If we go by your logic, all of a sudden every person on earth has a little kid/child fetish since we all originally come from childish entities.

Again, if you fucking read the post, how that works for digimon is entirely dependant on how said Gen's continuity treats digivolution in terms of he mechanics and lore of it. While it was the case in 1 and 2, Tamers and Frontier use enirely different rules for digivolution, and I have no bloody clue how any of the other series and franchises work it either.

What you're arguing is as retarded as saying Demons from Disaea are furry, because the Transmigration mechanic allows a Zombie or Dragon to become a busty samurai, and possibly the other way and back.

Booru tagging rules, mate. Authorial intent only matters as far as the nominal character and sourcework. An immortal character being brutalized is still tagged "snuff". A 500 year old wizard is still tagged "loli". A character that's canonically a vampire is only tagged "vampire" if they're actively displaying vampiric traits.

Retard, Tamers followed regular evolution routine from adventure except it needed the digimon to be fursuits for ultimate.

And that's only for the main characters, who are specials and not beholden to the normal rules. However it is established that Digivolution is a thing that exists for non-partnered digimon, and that it seems that those digivolutions are much more permanant and one-way that being jump-started by a human. Likewise in Frontier you see natural Digimon in advanced froms, yet even after many of them get beaten down they remain in said froms almost indefinately. The only time we see a regression was during that Scattered arc when they came across that nursury and there was that one digimon who was basically an adolescent trying to slow down his own digivolution out of fear of rejection from his firends, but at the end of the episode he fully digivolved and stays in that form.

Unless otherwise noted, or boosted by a Tamer, digivolutions are linear one-way progression, meaning for any character and digimon that is not a PC your theories hold no water. The only time we seem to actually ger natural regression really is when a digimon is killed, and their data get recreated into an egg so they can be born as a new digimon, which is less regression and more reincarnation.

Sons of God mean Righteous children. Humans are refered as sons of God multiple times in Bible (most notably in psalms (" I said ye are gods, all of you are sons of most high" 82:6)
In genesis, it means decedents of seith, while sons of man means decedents of cain, creating decadent, fallen and sinister society (thus nephil "the fallen").
P.S. fun fact: in some medieval christian folk tales, elves were considered to be pureblooded cainites

>In apocrypha only, as I said
It's literally Genesis. Genesis 6.

Now I ain't no expert in Hebrew juju, but it says roight there that the bnei HaElohim (or sons of gods, or "angels") buggered those banot HaAdam (or daughters of man) and made some greek demi-god heroes as off-spring.

On a side-note, HaNefilim (or Nephilim) are never explained in the Bible. Some try arguing that the HaNefilim are those off-spring (gibborim), despite the actual phrasing not supporting that [and I'm looking at you here, Blizzard]. Others call them the Giants, like what Goliath descended from, except I've gone over those passages with Big G and they never once call him "a descendant of HaNefilim." They use another noun entirely that I'm forggetti. HaNefilim, as I understand them [from just reading the whole book and only the book, but I'm no scholar], are just this abstract thing that are obviously alien to sons of god and sons of men but once a part of this world with us. It's honestly a little spooky considering that, but I'm fine with them being depicted in fiction with any supernatural bearing. Fairies, giants, monsters, it's all good.
>>
>>53895566
>Others call them the Giants, like what Goliath descended from, except I've gone over those passages with Big G and they never once call him "a descendant of HaNefilim."

Nor should they, since Noah, his wife, his sons, and his sons' wives were the only survivors of the Flood.

Neato, cause I certainly don't. I just reference a dozen different translations whenever I find something interesting or needs clarifying.

Do you have any non-Palms passages that reference men with Sons of God? Cause most of everything I've ever seen seemingly use it refer strictly to angels.

Also, New T was initially written in Greek, right? So defaulting to hebrew terms (via the orthodox jew bible) is less direct input?
>>
>>53896028
there are numerous passages in bible. most notably in pentateuch, including Deuteronomy:

>14:1 Ye are the children of the Lord your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.
Also in numerous prophecies, like that of Hosea (11:1) and Isaiah (43:6)
>>
>>53896028
Also, there are literally only two parts, where Angels are refered as "sons of God", and both are in book of job, that can be seen more as a literally phrase.
All other parts are refering to humans, highest of all creations.
it doesnt mean that angels dont refer to God as father. But they are created as servants

And on a side-note, the reason I saw non-Psalm is because it's very... poetic and sometimes abstract (and very often just prophetic).

Compare a New T passage (Luke 20) that calls men Sons of God, which seemingly sounds like a transitional thing and not just nature (where as the Genesis use sounded very much like nature).

>>53896028
>seemingly use it refer strictly to angels and New T*.
I recall seeing it often in New T.

Thanks, broseph. But man, this shit

>Deut 14:1
>>Ye are the bnei Hashem Eloheichem
What the heck am I looking at here? The Lord is called Hashem, and Eloheichachu looks Elohim-derived, but seriously wut?
>Hosea 11:1
>>I loved him, and called Beni (My son) out of Mitzrayim
>Isaiah 43:6
>>bring My banim from afar, and My banot from the ketzeh ha’aretz;
Do these count in the same context as bnei HaElohim? Obviously the same meaning indirectly, but I feel like there's a difference between the Lord saying "my sons" about humans and the actual "Sons of God" category that was distinct from bnei HaAdam in Gen6. I guess I look at it as "Righteous Sons" as you mentioned before it makes more sense.

Man, that's an entirely new perspective to me. Thanks for the help, friend.

>And on a side-note, the reason I saw non-Psalm is because it's very... poetic and sometimes abstract (and very often just prophetic).
Its not in this case
since there are numerous passages mentioning that Humans are Highest creation, image of god and godlike. ex:
>One who spills the blood of man, through/by man, his blood will be spilled, for in God's image/tselem He made man. (Gen 9:6)
In fact, our godlikeness is a cornerstone of christian theology and divinization/theosis
>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divinization_(Christian)

>What the heck am I looking at here? The Lord is called Hashem, and Eloheichachu looks Elohim-derived, but seriously wut?
HaShem is another name for God. (Jews use it in modern times too) There are numerous names, like Yahweh, El Shaddai, etc
Eloheichem means "your(plural) God". Hebrew adds suffixes to denote ownership or genitive relation. -Chem is a "your" suffix
>Do these count in the same context as bnei HaElohim?
Yes, they have same meaning.

>Man, that's an entirely new perspective to me. Thanks for the help, friend.
you're welcome :)

Funnily enough, that was the dream I had last night.
Some kind of corrupting entity that is the manifestation of 'heat death' of universe that vows to destroy everything, with it's corrupted underlings sinking their teeth to anything that exist, forcing not only humans and demons, but also most other forms of existing entities to unite in desperation to flee and hide from this corrupting entity.
but it turns out that this was a conspiracy done by a secret group of entities from muntiple species that wanted people to understand each other, and through that, achieve coexistence. They have been collecting the sould from the dead(don't ask me how that is supposed to work, I don't know either), and planned to revive them somehow after everyone that has been driven off in fear, and share a common enemy, come to understand each other.
What a strange dream, I don't even smoke or use any weird drugs.

Not to meme you too hard here, but it depends on the setting.

Depending on what particular apocrypha you follow, daemons might simply be angels who do not like the idea of everyone's life being meticulously controlled by some asshole that makes questionable claims of infallibility and seems to pretty consistently fuck everything up, and humans have free will and thus are practically the mortal reflection of daemons. Of course, in those cases angels and daemons both are usually either giant humanoids or bizarre non-euclidean acid trip clusterfucks of sundogs and wheels of eyes and living torture chambers and shit. Point is, in those cases, it wouldn't take much- The humans would be the ones that would have to be led over the hurdle of realising that they were lied to about daemons by their religious leaders, and going off of Enoch, that probably wouldn't be too hard as humans and fallen angels have even interbred in the past (resulting in giants, the Nephilim).

Of course, if they're actually some absolute pure embodiment of earthly evil, it would obviously (as most others have stated) require unearthly evil to polarise humans and daemons on the side of a common "good," or the simple matter of a threat to their mutual existence (which, since evil comes from mankind, could simply be any threat to the existence of humans, rather conveniently). If God remained aloof, which would not be out of character (torturing his most devoted followers is canonically practically his favourite passtime, assuming we're talking IHVH here), that could easily turn the two against God and his angels as well.

Or if it's non-Judaic daemons, it would literally only take shared ideals and any common enemy- These daemons (eg Fomoire, Larvae, Yaksha, et cetera) are frequently portrayed, for lack of a better term, as "supernatural humans"- They have distinctly human-adjacent minds, morals and motivations, they just have bizarre physical forms and supernatural abilities.

if pic related is the common enemy all we need is some silk rope leather straps and a ballgag. That's more than enough to stop her.
>>
>>53890493
>What would make humans and demons to unite their forces against this common enemy?
That would depend on what the demons are.
If they're beings of pure evil, destroyers of souls and corruptors of minds, obviously not very much.
If they're just another group of people who happen live somewhere shitty, then regular human conflict would be more than enough.

Why not though? What if just like, humans got collectively tired of following all the seemingly arbitrary and convoluted rules of god and defected en masse to the side of demons? It seems like it could be interesting.

I'd imagine it'd have to be something that exists outside the normal realm of both humanity and Heaven and Hell.

Most likely some type of Eldritch outer god that seeks to transform Earth into a gateway to his realm so he could completely take over or consume ours. The whole point being that he himself is too powerful/enigmatic to be able to actually manifest in our realm, so he sends hoards of minions of his own creation to flood our realm and begin a war.

>demons arrive on earth

Let me guess, heroine of this story is a daemon engine waifu built by a scientist to end the war via violence, but when the lab is raided by both sides trying to claim her, her 'father' dies and she's left alone and angry to wander the world.
Her rampage makes her a target for both sides, first attempt in to recruit her, later simply trying to destroy her.
Eventually she meets and falls in love with a man of the cloth who preaches peace and tries to keep her destructive impulses in check, with varying amounts of success.
Eventually her rage burns out and they settle down, founding a small community of those tired of fighting, but beyond their little village the war between demon and machine continues.
When the death toll rises too high, and God sends down the angels to purify the Earth so He can start anew, only a demon engine waifu and her pacifist priest lover can stand between them and humanity's extinction.

Yeah, okay. Someone call Japan, I'm ready to watch this.
>>
>>53920018
The story ends with god noticing there's demons on earth so he banishes them all and the robots win.
The demon-lovers live out their lives in a constant state of depression and many kill themselves.
