>01-20 : Young (40-55): The Inquisitor is young, by Inquisitorial standards.
ah! shall our young inquisitor have a lengthy career ahead of him? or shall it be a candle in the wind?
next table is Ordo (1d100)

sorry anon. we are of a more mundane Ordo this time.
>>53665927
Next table is for Psychic Ability (1d100)
Rolled 25 (1d100)
>>53665951
HERESY IS AS HERESY DOES.
If he continues being a normal everyday inquisitor can he be named Bland Brandon?
>>53665963

FILTHY PSYKERS BE DAMNED
next we roll for our inquisitor's Titles (3d100)

why not inquisitor Brandon Bland?
>>53666014
>Rolled 66, 12, 22 = 100 (3d100)
>61-70 : Miscellaneous: This could be pretty much anything, as in nick-names or popular names granted by compatriots or enemies, and so are usually informalities left out of official documentation. Examples include Psykerbane, Lucky, Warhound, Thrice-Blessed or names ending in the end (such as the Invincible, the Pure, the Cursed, etc).
>11-30 : Ordo-specific: Something related to the Inquisitors line of work, e.g. an Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor might be Witch-Finder, Witch-Hunter, Colonel-of-Redemption, etc.
give inquisitor Bland his titles /tg/
next shall be his Philosophy (1d100)
Rolled 46 (1d100)
>>53666015
Names are an extravagance. A true Imperial Citizen needs only their identification marker.
>>53666044
>>53666081
>Rolled 46 (1d100)
>21-50 : Temperate Puritan: These Inquisitors understand the place of psykers and mutants is one of servitude, and that they should be made to understand their inferiority. These are Puritans that acknowledge psychic benefits.
now we roll for how we do things. Methodology (2d100)
>>53666044
Neutrum-Arbitor Brandon Bland the Genus
Rolled 1 (1d100)

Neutral dispute settler Brandon Bland the generic?
>>53666164
>Rolled 4, 92 = 96 (2d100)
>01-05 : Exitus Acta Probat (The end justifies the means): Will go to any length to achieve their goal, no matter the moral implications of blackmailing colleagues, murdering innocents or even selling their own soul!
>91-95 : Vota Vita Mia (My life is devoted): To whatever cause they have pledged themselves, this character will be unflinching in its execution above all other things.
now we're getting somewhere!
>>53666179
>Rolled 45 (1d100)
>41-45 : Post Tenebra Lux (After the dark comes light): Istvaanian in nature, belief in great achievements after terrible conflict. May intentionally incite warfare and civil strife.
for you, dear anon, we shall have a third methodology
but what would Neutrum-Arbitor Brandon Bland the Genus be without his Quirks (3d100)
Rolled 95, 79, 58 = 232 (3d100)
>>53666231
>>53666213
mind if i get back to you on this when we finish rolling? :)
>>53666255
Sure. F5'ing so I can roll on some of this too.
>>53666254
>Rolled 95, 79, 58 = 232 (3d100)
>94-95 : Family: The Inquisitor has found time to start a family.
>78-79 : Mute: The Inquisitor will not speak with others directly. They may communicate through an elaborate sign language, telepathy or MIU-linked speaker-skulls or quill-skulls.
>58-60 : Injury: The Inquisitor is injured in some fashion, from something so grave even the surgeons of the Collegia Medicae are unable to restore them to full health to just an impressive set of scars.
Inquisitor Bland is getting some character!
what manner of injury besets him? Injury (1d100)
>>53665616

>>53666299
Calling it now, Inquisitor Bland is a Forum Moderator. looking for signs of heresy in posts made by civilians on the Emperors Divine WarpNet.
>>53666299
Could the muteness perhaps have been caused by the injury?
>>53666335

Rolled 68, 32, 35, 24 = 159 (4d100)
>>53666402
Since he's mute, he obviously cannot move his jaw.
>>53666384
Fuck yeah, isn't it great having super mind powers and extra limbs and shit? Right, fellow psykers and/or mutants?
Sure is a great day to be a heretic M I RITE?!

>65-70 : Well established friends: Influential characters friends in high places, such as nobles, politicians, etc.
>31-40 : Unarmed spaceship: Roll on the 'Unarmed spaceship' table (2d100)
>21-30 : Personal army: The Inquisitor maintains a privately acquired body of troops. Roll on the 'Personal army' table. (1d100)
right'o lads we're rolling for two space craft and a personal army!
go ahead and roll (3d100). first two results will be for the space craft and the last shall be for the army.
Rolled 16, 23, 42 = 81 (3d100)
>>53666437
Well since he's mute, I imagine it more as that his upper body isn't working properly. Which means basically the same thing except he isn't confined to a wheelchair.
>>53666461
rollin'
Rolled 2, 37, 91 = 130 (3d100)

tell me more about Inquisitor Bland anyone?
how was he paralysed?
what does he do all day?
how many kids?
who is his army?
anyone care to keep going?
>>53666537
>Was paralyzed as an acolyte when he intercepted a psychic attack, saving his inquisitor's life.
>Said inquisitor is now a lord and maintains a sense of gratitude for the incident.
>Paralysis affects have the face and extends down to one arm, leaving him mute; said arm has since been enhanced with cybernetics.
>His direct approach towards work and his inability/neglect to discuss matters not pertaining to the task at hand has earned him the moniker "Bland" amount his more extravagant peers.
>>53666740
I would but I'm too hammered for much creativity anon.
I think >>53666751 is a good start. Though I wouldn't necessarily say that it was due to a psyker attack. I'd rather have him doing something more awesome like fighting Chaos.
I would also say that his 'bland' personality comes from him being a family man and a puritan. He believes in living a more simple life, which seems bland to those who engage in various distractions to fill their time.
>>53666740
>>53666751
>what does he do all day?
Brandon functions primarily as a moderator and cleric - going through administration files and looking for any evidence of heresy in backlogged files and feeding this information on to field-work Inquisitors. The Inquisitor Lord that he saved has somewhat hamstrung Brandon's career, preventing him from taking dangerous - but career critical - roles out of a sense of duty.
His army are Ordo Hereticus Storm Troopers and Acolytes, who he sends to act on information too time critical to pass onto more well placed assets.
He's essentially an Imperial Accountant, going around checking the books with extreme prejudice.
His wife is the other acolyte that was serving with the Inquisitor, who also functions as his carer in the many times his injury flares up and renders him physically incapable - a consequence of the ongoing psychic trauma.
He has three children, two boys and a girl, all younger than five.
So he's a young puritan Istvaanian Ordo Hereticus inquisitor willing to go to any lengths to achieve their goals. They have a family. They are also mute and at least partially paralysed. They have influential friends in high places. They have two spaceships - one a rubbishy little tug, another a deluxe luxury cruiser. They also have a personal army of Inquisitorial Storm Troopers.
Am I the only one who sees Inquisitor Brandon Bland as being a mute bed-bound quadriplegic? He comes from an infighting family of nobles who travel with him on his luxury yacht. They constantly bicker and argue over him, debating over what this eye-twitch or that moan means, endlessly trying to subvert his inquisitorial authority for their own ends. They have repeatedly blocked attempts to outfit him with augmentics that would allow him to move or speak, arguing that such metal implants would pervert his human form.
The whole family travels the galaxy in the yacht with him, using his authority to set up trade empires, claim planets and excommunicate or execute any who dare oppose them. They once had an entire chapter of Space Marines banished from the imperium because the superhuman warriors would not help them in conquering a new garden world.
>>53665616
So what power over men do I posses while I wield this sigil?
>>53666740
>Maintains a yacht for diplomatic purposes but prefers the discretion the tug provides.
>We'd to the daughter of an agri-world planetary governor; has two sons
>Lives a simple life in spite of his status, believing that any effort beyond that is best served weeding His world of heresy and evil.
>Prays before supper

>>53667017
Thank you anon. I admit that I'm stealing the AGP idea and having my players go through all the Only War stuff before diving into Dark Heresy. So I'm going to need inquisitors eventually and rolling for them seems like a good way to make interesting NPC's.
>>53666592
>>53667017
I know this ain't exactly the place to bring it up, but honestly I'd like to see something similar to the Inquisitor table for a Rogue Trader.
You step out of the elevator onto the rooftop. You can see all the way to the edge of the hive from up here. Your boss likes the view. He once explained that it gives him perspective, reminds him of how much is a stake. You can respect that. He's a driven man, Inquisitor Brandon Bland. You see him in his wheelchair by the far balcony, flanked by his sons, Bandon and Brannen. They acknowledge your presence, but only just. They stand at attention, a sharp contrast to the withered form of their father. You remember how he used to look, back when he was your sergeant in the Guard. You remember following him, charging over the rubble of your home, screaming as you unleashed las-fire upon the heretic forces. You remember the sudden ringing in your ears as you crawled through the ash and blood to where then-Sergeant Brandon Bland lay paralyzed, covered in lightning-scars,his one good hand clenched around the neck of the Wytch that had wiped out your squad. You remember Brandon Bland's last words before speech failed him forever. "Tell Helena I love her."
>>53667048
and hey it can be pretty fun.
>>53667106
why doesn't /tg/ build those tables? any anons here cool to do that?
>>53667161
tell us more about Bland's goals anon. what's he out to do?
>>53667166
I'd be down, though I don't know enough of Rogue Trader to contribute much.
>>53667161
Now that is appropriately hard core as fuck. As all Inquisitors should be.
That said, I still think the idea that his arms (and jaw/face) are useless is more interesting than "muh legs".
>>53667238
I was thinking one side, so an arm and a leg, which lets him hobble around if he wants to and still shoot people, but it gives him a nice twisted aesthetic
>>53667268
Eh, that's alright in my book. I guess I just want the weirdest case, which would be that his arms and jaw/face don't work. Preferably that neither arm works for shit and his face cannot move beyond his tongue helping him swallow shit.
>>53667268
>>53667308
cane? no cane? other means of mechanical assistance?
>>53667344
I can imagine him being in a fancy hover chair, at least when he has to meet with high standing officials in his luxury ship
>>53667344
brace on paralyzed leg, cane. When on his yacht, his quarters are kept in zero-G, which lets him maneuver more efficiently.
>>53667344
Also would need a MIU-linked servo-skull with voxcaster capability, that would speak for him.
>>53667469
The Adept that installed it accidentally put thr warring in wrong, so the skull only paraphrases what Bland says, and it is done in a needlessly flowery, verbose and purple manner
Needless to say, this annoys someone of Blands disposition, who admires efficiency in all things.
Is there no roll to see what his preferred weapon/ combat tactics are?
If not I'd go with the wheelchair bound story but the wheelchair also has a combat servo harness. A flamer for close combat. Autocannon for suppressing fire. Also when a flamer isn't enough Brandon just whips out a boomstick shotgun from a hidden compartment.
Also as he's order hereticus, is there a specific chaos god he hates?
>>53667596
hmm... very well. pulling from another table for this but go ahead and roll (1d100) for a weapon type
Rolled 93 (1d100)
>>53667596
Well, he seems to want to live a simple life, so Slaanesh would seem fitting.
>>53667727
All right!
Rolled 58 (1d100)
>>53667727
>>53666299
>>78-79 : Mute: The Inquisitor will not speak with others directly. They may communicate through an elaborate sign language, telepathy or MIU-linked speaker-skulls or quill-skulls.
>>58-60 : Injury: The Inquisitor is injured in some fashion, from something so grave even the surgeons of the Collegia Medicae are unable to restore them to full health to just an impressive set of scars.
Obviously his tongue has been cut.
>>53667753
>Rolled 93 (1d100)
>Modified Weaponry: When the Inquisition’s specialists produce a weapon, they produce them in a style that is specific to their Ordo. Examples: Power Sabre, Bolt Pistol with weighted butt for clubbing.
basically, take an already existing piece of wargear and give it a tweak here and there to suit Inquisitor Bland's needs
>>53666856
His StormTroopers should be his SWAT team, kicking the doors of Slaaneshi heretics and tax evaders.
>>53666856
He's the IRS?
>>53667820
Okay, modified weaponry... Have we decided if he's wheelchair bound or uses a cane?
If wheelchair then weaponize it, if cane why not turn the cane into a rifle which Brandon can use like the hunter from league of extraordinary gentlemen?
If he's paralysed then he himself wouldn't want to be in the thick of it. Hangs back while his army does the dirty work.
Also in his fancy ship he could have a heretic trophy room.
If he is quadriplegic (or even retains the use of one arm) his wheelchair could be able to morph into a primitive exoskeleton that allows him to walk around, albeit slowly and clumsily.
>>53667998
I like this.
>>53667937
>>53667998
alright lads let's put the matter to bed. we roll to see just how paralyzed Inquisitor Bland is. (1d100) if you please.
>was in love with the daughter of some Agriworld's governor
>governor was pissed off at this and sent him to the Guard
>daughter was pregnant and bore him two sons he didn't know about
>saved an Inquisitor from a heretical witch but suffered crippling injuries from warp-lightning
>inquisitor recruits him to his retinue out of gratitude and later discovers his aptitude for rooting out heresy via paperwork and thorough investigation
>eventually becomes an Inquisitor himself, low-key finds out what happened to his old planet
>planet had a cultist rebellion and the planetary governor and his entire family ended up dead
>finds out he has two sons in the Guard though
>recruits them to lead his personal army
Any of this sound coherent?
Rolled 73 (1d100)
>>53668045

>>53668072
73 is pretty close to 75%, so that's one arm left to use I guess.
Wheelchair terminator here we come.
>>53668072
>Rolled 73 (1d100)
>70-78 : Right side
our inquisitor is paralyzed from head to toe on the right side of his body.

>>53668095
>>53668112

no fuck you he's wheelchair bound and he has a combat wheelchair
>>53668112

11-20 : Right arm
21-30 : Left leg
31-40 : Right leg
41-49 : Upper body
50-58 : Lower body
59-60 : All extremities
61-69 : Left side
70-78 : Right side
79-87 : One leg and one arm
88-96 : Three extremities
97 : Full Body Paralysis
98-100 : Other small area of paralysis (jaw, neck, foot, hand, etc.)
the table for transparency. is it a fair table?
>>53668144
the dice have spoken, brother
>>53668129
Maybe a fusion of both ideas, paralysed side has an exoskeleton aided by a cane.
>>53668046
Liking this backstory. Maybe the cult was a slaaneshi cult too?
Though how did he end up with a personal army and 2 ships is gonna be interesting to come up with.
>>53668177
He's an Inquisitor with friends in high places, duh
>>53668177
>Maybe a fusion of both ideas, paralysed side has an exoskeleton aided by a cane.
Could look like a more imperial leg brace except it supports the entire right side of his body.
>Though how did he end up with a personal army and 2 ships is gonna be interesting to come up with.
Tugboat is probably due to Inquisitor funds and all, his old superior is now a Lord Inquisitor.
Private army was probably groomed from his old Guard regiment and the one that his sons were in.
Luxury yacht is obviously a thank you reward from a planetary governor somewhere or other.
>>53667882
>Imperial Revenue Service, we're here to audit your accounts.
>With fire.
Actually, this would be a legit avenue of investigation in the Imperium. Money laundering is still a thing, even in the grim darkness of the far future. They'd probably have specialist adepts for the job, but it's not impossible to consider that an Inquisitor may specialise in that field - tracking down Slaaneshi cultists by tracing odd expenditures and unbalanced checking accounts.
>>53668264
This.
>>53665616
>first roll is for Gender (1d100)
>it's not 1d2
>>53668317
Inquisitors are more likely to be male.
>>53668308
Bumping for a paralysed IRS Inquisitor who travels around in a Space Yacht with his family and Storm Trooper accountants.
Last case was investigating a planet that had been making their Black Ship Psyker quota exactly for the last dozen years, without fail or waivering numbers.
>>53668619
The local governed had been funding a hidden cult which had found a way to temporarily give a psychic imprint to the local populace.
further investigation showed that a majority of the people put in the black ships were either political opponents or arbiter who were working on routing out the cult.
>>53668715
Brandon focuses on the crux of what it means to be a good Inquisitor - legwork. He crunches the numbers, collates the data, gathers the evidence and figures the angles.
Then he ships it all off to some gung-ho flamer-jockey while he enjoys a home cooked meal with his wife and kids.
>>53668774
Please tell me it's lasagna
>>53668835
With fresh Bechamel sauce. He could have the ships Head Chef prepare a 5 star meal, but he just doesn't get the mince right like his wife does. And the family has a lot of fun shredding the cheese to help.
True, he can't really taste properly since the accident, but he doesn't tell her that. She works hard in the kitchen, and she deserves to know he thinks she makes the best lasagne in the Imperium.
>>53668890
I am really warming up to that dude.
Could be a really cool side/background character of a other inquisitor that does the dirty work
We now need a drawfag here to just have a paralyzed Inquisitor in a hitech combat wheelchair enjoying a nice plate of lasagna with his family while you have his soldiers in the background lifting around godly amounts of paperwork
>>53668468
not him but d10 do exist
>>53668922
That makes sense - also explains the two ships. Brandon is more on the 'stale beer' side of the Inquisition spy game, a down-to-earth Inquisitor working with a more James Bond-ian 'dry martini' Inquisitor.
Hey OP, shall we roll up the second Inquisitor?
>>53668960
Rolling a new inquisitor makes sense. But we can skip some rolls. We know that he'd be younger and of the same order as Brandon and that his philosophy would be more of a: follow orders and/or yell heresy and shoot first, ask questions later.
>>53668951
It's a d100 for the 1-in-a-100 chance of being neither /other gender.
Rolled 28 (1d100)
>>53668997
In that case...
ROLLAN GENDER
I think we should just say what we roll every time we roll, because we aren't rolling everything this time.
>>53669016
He's a dude!
Give us a d100 for age.

Rolled 15 (1d100)
Rolling a title, supposed to be a younger guy so should only have 1, I think. You can roll more if you want.

>>53669193
Fides Omnia Vincit (Faith conquers all): Their faith is a very important part of who this Inquisitor is, whatever it may be, making them unflinching in their personal convictions.
Facta Non Verba (Deeds not words): Thinking can be a virtue, but then again it wastes valuable heretic-purging time.
Omnia Audax (In all things daring): Constantly challenging authority, popular beliefs and often common sense. When successful, it is most impressive, unfortunately success is often not guaranteed
Sounds like the kind of guy whose faith is blinding him to the hypocracy of his actions.
D100 for Psychicness!
Rolled 74 (1d100)
>>53669217
Just the guy we need. Actions before thinking, blind belief that he is right. Perfect as an assault man to go for some purging!
>>53669229
>Capable: Familiarity with a single discipline.
This dude seriously has no limits on his quest to purge heretics.
Now for quirks, 3d100!
>>53669229
Hell yeah. Capable Psyker, good for a field guy
Rolled 26, 67, 55 = 148 (3d100)
>>53669233
rolling for Dirty Old Bastard's quirks
>>53669234
It's gotta be pyromancy right? Killing heretics with anything you can.
>>53669243
So we got...
>Hidden philosophy: Knowledge is power, hide it well. Nobody seems to know this Inquisitor's true affiliation.
>Arch-nemesis: The Inquisitor has acquired themselves an arch-nemesis.
>Illuminated: Possessed by a daemonic creature, the Inquisitor managed to banish the beast from their mortal shell. This makes the Inquisitor more resistant to the allure of the Ruinous powers and their vile servants.
Whoa. That's some deep lore right there.
>>53669260
Dibs for the demon to be the nemesis.
Also, give us 3d100 for resources.
>>53669260
apparently a LOT can happen when you're an ancient motherfucker.
what's the next roll anon?
At the moment this guy does sound like actions first, questions later.
First from the sounds of it maybe this guy only follows Brandon cos he's always on the mark, however he believes that if it weren't for Brandon's skill at compiling information he'd be useless as an inquisitor and more fit in being a book worm. Maybe every time the inquisitor is sent somewhere he hopes that Brandon got it wrong but then whenever he gets back yo Brandon with reports of success he gets infuriated by the cripple's incredibly smug expression as he has another mouthful of lasagna.
Secondly am I the only who thinks this guy's discipline is pyromancy?
>>53668112
Roll to see how old he was when he had his stroke.
Rolled 17, 64, 40 = 121 (3d100)
>>53669275
resources rolling. secret base pls
>>53669288
He has an organisational tie - roll d100 for it.
An unarmed spaceship.
And a fucking planet.
Rolled 95 (1d100)
>>53669301
Rolled 99 (1d100)
>>53669301
>asked for secret base
>received own. mother. fucking. planet.
>dice gods
rolling rolling rolling
>>53669319
>>53669320
ONE SECOND.
Should we rather take the Xenos / Demons, because fucking hell this guy. THIS GUY WE HAVEN'T EVEN NAMED YET HAS THE DEEPEST LORE.
What is his name, anons?
>>53669319
>>53669320
Using both 'coz you rolled with a 1 second difference.
The Inquisitor has imperial military resources in his pocket - I'm calling it a regiment raised from the planet he owns, plus navy shipping.
Additionally he has 'exotic' resources - aliens, demons, rogue traders, something like that.
Give us a d100 for his ship.
>>53669330
Theodor von Klippmark
Rolled 7 (1d100)
>>53669339
100 get!
>>53669330
Salazar.
Just Salazar. Doesn't need anything more
>>53669330
First inquisitor was so bland, dice gods have rolled up The Worlds Most Interesting Inquisitor.
>>53669340
satisfactorily old name.
how old IS this man?
>>53669348
It's the fucking tug.
Blandons fucking second ship, that ugly tug.
It's Salazars.
Do we want to roll up his planet and IG regiment?
>>53669368
do it
>>53669358
At least 250. Probably a lot older. I figure he spent at least a century as a demonhost.
>>53669381
Alright, give us a d10 for regiment classification.
Rolled 8 (1d10)
>>53669392
Let's do this!
Quickly someone roll a d100 to choose if the name is salazar (even) or Theodore (odd)
>>53669340
>>53669349
Call me weird but I like Theodore Salazar. Has a nice ring to it.
>>53669395
Penal Legion!
Give us d100 for recruitment.
>>53669416
That works too, shall we stick with this?
Rolled 24 (1d100)
>>53669419
rolling
>>53669423
I'd stick with just Salazar.
or if it must be both let Theodore be a name lost to the centuries. a secret name. a name he has killed to hide. because goddamit Theodore.
>>53669443
Of course.
Theodore Salazar has an army of all female prisoners at his beck and call.
Give us 2d100 for the homeworld.
Rolled 98, 72 = 170 (2d100)
>>53669478
OG Pimp Salazar
>>53669458
A name that Brandon bland knows and uses to Salazars ire. Unfortunately salazar can't get rid of him cos he has friends in high places and he's to Dawn valuable at information gathering!
>>53669478
What table are you using? Asking out of interest because I couldn't find any proper ones save for Dark Heresy rulebooks, but they don't have all the choices.
>>53669505
1d4chan.
>>53669488
A lost homeworld that is a wasteland.
With Salazar running a planet, I'm ruling that something exterminatus'd the planet - probably the demonhost arch nemesis - and all he could save was the lady prisoners, who were the only survivors. They are trying, with Salazars aid, to repopulate the planet.
Give us 4d100 and 2d10 for tactics.
Rolled 63, 28, 86, 10 = 187 (4d100)
>>53669568
rolling the d100 on tactics
>>53669568
alternately, the survivors of the exterminatus have been confined to the planet as prisoners by the Grey Knights because daemons bad enough to require exterminatus would probably involve them anyway. they're left alone due to affiliations of Inqisitor Bland and that's another hold he's got on Salazar.
Rolled 7, 1 = 8 (2d10)
>>53669582
rolling d10 on tactics
Rolled 6, 10 = 16 (2d10)
>>53669582
And the 2d10 for it.
>>53669630
Mechanised Infantry, overzealous, ranged combat focus, use a special lasgun pattern, tribal culture.
Finally, 3d100 for enemies and relations.
Rolled 74, 29, 32 = 135 (3d100)
>>53669667
rabid, daemon hating, armor amazons with special patter las
hnng
>>53669685
They have relations with the Space marines and are enemies of Chaos.
What's next guys?
>>53669667
Sentinel heavy amazon's!
The smarter ladies get access to sentinels while the others give covering fire with lasguns.
Because of the whole grey knights don't trust me thing they also have access to quite a bit of commissars. However because salazar is such a player he, with the help of Brandon, managed to pull some strings to make it only female commissars.
Again. Mechanised space amazons
>>53669718
Now we discuss. Does Salazar use a xeno weapon, if does, what kind of xeno weapon?
>>53669731
a xeno weapon damned well powerful enough to break him free from a daemonhost that's what kind of xeno weapon
>>53669719
The Commissars don't BLAM the ladies.
They are sent to the Inquisitor.
For re-education.
Recidivism is high in penal legions, but Salazars firm hand soon sets these ladies straight.
>>53669719
MECHANIZED
SPACE
AMAZONS
>>53669754
would Brandon let that happen?
you bet your ass Salazar's got every damn amazon on that planet learning to make lasagna though by holy terra and the god emperor himself someone is going to make a tray as good as mrs. bland
>>53669746
A xeno weapon with effects to free a demonhost...Eldar related?
Brandon Bland is quite the figure, controlling an ancient daemonhost Inquisitor with a regiment of mechanized space amazons at his beck and call.
>>53669731
Well what type of xenon weapon would hurt heretics the most?
If he does use xeno weaponry either shuriken weaponry to shred armor and cause the most pain or pulse weaponry cos subtle is probably not in his vocabulary.
Though he is a pyromancer so does he really need xeno weaponry. Stormbolter and flaming force sword is probably enough for him.
>>53669757
Salazar is just the most badass dude in his entire sector.
Somehow Brandon manages to still be the main character. It's like Kamina and Simon in 40k.
YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS ANONS.
>>53669781
eldar related. possibly even harlequin related.
offensive or defensive?
>>53669802
Offensive, obviously. He's not a subtle man.
>>53669784
You can bet your ads Salaam is waiting for Brandon to make a mistake. Unfortunately he is too bland to make one as he doesn't risk anything and always triple checks all his info.
>>53669772
Brandon keeps a close eye on the numbers. Thanks to this, and calculating coincidences in timing between Salazars 'personal meditation', certain troopers filling for RnR, and the mean time for transit between the ship barracks and the inquisitorial boardrooms, Brandon has discovered Salazar is something of a two-pump-chump.
>>53669816
Brandon "Bland" has always been a figure in the background, a relatively unremarkable young Inquisitor always buried deep in libraries, mountains of paperwork and Administratum vaults. He is very accomplished but no one actually knows it since his successes are so unexciting and he always lets someone else to hog the glory of the battle.
>>53669827
woe to the amazon that can't suppress a mumble-whisper of "oh, Brandon/Mr. Bland/lasagna" during re-education
This relationship between the two inquisitors sounds a lot like the one of the two cops in the lethal weapon series(for me anyways)
>>53669811
Neuro-disruptor?
Or dare I suggest, a witchblade?
>>53669849
Everyone thinks that he's a younger Inquisitor working practically under Salazar, they just don't know that he's the one pulling all the strings.
>>53669903
Witchblade fits his reckless and showy attitude, so why not
>>53669903
Fire witchblade in one hand, neuro disruptor in the other. Dear god if I were a heretic I would not want him coming through the door
>>53669866
...cannot unsee...
>Brandon: *I'm not old enough for this shit.*
>Brandon's Servo-Skull Vox Unit: "MINE PERSONAGE ART OF TOO YOUTHFUL A COUNTENANCE TO ACQUIESCE TO YON -TRANSLATION ERROR-"
>>53669903
How about a ghostblade he wields two-handed. Witchblade is a little understated in design.
>>53669937
I agree. ancient ghostblade for ancient Salazar.
>>53669924
>>53669927
>>53669937
He should have either daemon and/or xeno connections, so does he have connections with the Eldar somehow?
This fucking guy...
>>53669989
He's probably "rescued" or "worked with" some qt Eldars at some point
>yet another fact Brandon holds over him
Btw just gonna quickly derail from salaam back to Brandon...
He's in a high tech weaponised wheelchair right? So it needs maintenance, probably from a jokaero Smith...
He also needs a servo skull to speak...
So am I the only one imagining a servo skull on a jokaero in a Butler suit pushing Brandon around and assisting him in all his needs?
>*need salazar to get his ass to a planet quickly before it gets corrupted *
>Mister Salazar, Master wishes that you speed your behind to sector CHI-Q before the nasty spiky men get their dirty mitts on it. Now, please tally Ho.
>>53669989
he IS over a quarter century old and a man of action to boot. Salazar's seen some shit.
also it could have just been a relic left behind and forgotten. or a plant by the laughing god. he need not have won a wet t-shirt contest MECHANIZED SPACE AMAZONS vs SPESS ELVES to have gotten his hands on a ghostblade.
it's a big universe
>>53670003
just as long as that servo skull has a mustache glued on it.
>>53670065
A gold-plated mustache. It's from an Imperium Saint who died consecrating a daemonworld. He uses it to stir tea.
>>53669937
I'm seeing an exorcised daemon-sword, the one that used to contain the spirit that possessed him.
Was it saving Salazar that crippled Brandon?
>>53670197
Probably not, it'd have to be another which allows bland to have friends in high places. Salazar seems to be the kind of guy everyone stays away from.
>>53670303
So Salazar is Brandon's last choice weapon? Feeding important data where it needs to go and flinging Inquisitor "Shoot 'em all and let the Emperor recognize his own" Salazar when there's no time and shit needs doing right the fuck now?
>>53670363
Basically salazar is skharbrand to brandon's khorne. When heresy needs sorting Brandon flings salazar in that general direction.
>>53670197
Exorcised daemon-sword, is it affiliated with any prince or is it just an unaffiliated sword?
>>53670411
Shall we roll for the demon that possesed Salazar?
>>53670510
>>53670411
Alright.
Give me a d12 for Affiliation.
Rolled 7 (1d12)
>>53670574
Comin' right up
>>53670574
How about a d12 for how hardcore a daemon, too?
1-7 Lesser Daemon
8-11 Greater Daemon
12 Daemon Prince
Who wants to roll that sweet 12 for us?
>>53670581
Ooh, a Nurgle affiliation.
Give me a d100 for the level of the daemon.
Rolled 2 (1d12)
>>53670623
I shall do the honors!
Rolled 9 (1d100)
>>53670645
Hmm.
Which way will we go then?
Rolled 5 (1d12)
>>53670623
rollin'
Rolled 76 (1d100)
>>53670645
level roll
>>53670655
Full on Daemon Prince level.
Give me 2d100 to determine how long he was possessed and what he got up to while under.
>>53670648
>>53670655
>>53670656
>>53670659
By the emperor, what is happening here?
Rolled 78 (1d100)
>>53670692
Are you sure our mortal minds can handle this?
Rolled 47 (1d100)
>>53670713
Aw fuck, rolled only one
>>53670713
Jesus, between 150 and 200 years. This guy has been possessed for most of his life.
Still need 1d100 for what he was up to in that time.
>>53670728
Christ, he was busy.
Whilst possessed by a daemon prince of nurgle, Salazar lead a campaign which brought a sector to its knees.
Give me 3d100 for personality.
Rolled 37 (1d100)
>>53670753
rolling
Rolled 54, 52 = 106 (2d100)
>>53670775
We can take that for >>53670773
Rolling the 2 remaining ones
Right, because of the nurgle possession salazar knows biomancy instead of pyromancy
>>53670775
>>53670786
Got a double up, but I'm using that to state the depth of the trait - this daemon prince is full on, drink-the-coolaid, levels of in love with Nurgle. This is no mere adherent - they truly believe that Nurgle is love, Nurgle is life, and spreading his infectious love is the surest way to bring joy.
Additionally they are one hell of a planner - almost Tzeentchian in their convolutedness.
Now we know this guy got exorcised, so give me a d100 for how that happened.
Rolled 35 (1d100)
>>53670824
A valid point. He's competent with it, he probably keeps zipping around ripping people apart with Warp Speed and ripping people into literal pieces with Iron Arm? Gruesome.
>>53670848
Wish granted
>>53670862
Fighting heresy with heresy,. Whoever ousted him was either dabbling in the chaotuc arts or was themselves a worshipper.
Finally give me 5d100 to figure out what it's up to now.
Rolled 58, 90, 85, 88, 20 = 341 (5d100)
>>53670899
rolling
Rolled 25, 10, 59, 56, 46 = 196 (5d100)
>>53670899
Hey ho Lets go heresy!
>>53670908
He's currently leading a cult on a civilised ice-world, where his corruption of the ruling noble elite has placed the planet in dire straits. Without intervention, his presence is unlikely to be directly noticed inside of the next two decades by which time his goal of spreading Nurgles love through a bacterium infesting the drinking water the planet exports will have decimated an entire sector.
We should get a drawfag to draw our Inqisitorial duo,or maybe just Brandon and his family
>>53670981
good thing we've got the IRS to catch that sort of thing
>Inquisitor Brandon Bland is on it
>YOU MEAN SALAZAR THE BANE IS ON IT, PENCIL PUSHER
>>53671051
I can just imagine when Brandon and Salazar are having a heater argument when suddenly Brandon's wife comes, making them both calm down as she brings cookies/cake/coffee to them while they are working.
>>53671051
This just screams leeroy Jenkins shenanigans.
>Mister Salazar, master Bland says that the chances of survival if we take a direct approach are minim-
>LETS DO This! *iron arm then punches open giant metal doors* SURPRISE HERETICS! *runs in screaming followed by an army of Amazon manned sentinels all screeching like valkyris. *
>Butler facepalms Brandon
>>53671157
LASAGNA
>>53671182
Hey, are you saying that Inquisitor Bland's wife is so one dimensional that she can only make lasagna?
I'll have you know that her cookies are good enough to have her own brand, but because Inquisitor Bland provides for his family, he deservedly can keep the cookies as a family delicacy!
>>53671263
yes. no of course I meant no disrespect to mrs. Bland at all. yes cookies of course. but you see the lasagna... but there's the cookies too... and undoubtedly... the legendary Bland Pot Pie
>>53671371
Ah yes, the pot pie, a legendary plate that even Salazar has yet to taste and that Brandon only gets a taste of on rare special occasions...
Damn, we're gonna need to roll for Mrs bland aren't we? At least how the blands met...
>>53671447
How will we roll her? Was she affiliated with the inquisition before Mr. Bland came in?
Is there a way to find out?
>>53671447
How about we make Mrs Bland a little badass as well, what is she is a retired, sleeper, off-dute, etc callidus assassin that fell in love with Brandon after she was tasked with keeping tabs on him as he got appointed to inquistor, just to keep him from abusing his new authority
>>53671486
Quick! Random person make a quick roll 1d10! I just made a quick table about npc past
Rolled 7 (1d10)
>>53671523
These seem like really neat tables but coming into these threads when shits already 2/3rds fleshed out is no fun
>>53671503
>Love Can Bloom
>>53671533
Okay, we know she is from tera but she has an unknown past. Not even Brandon can find any information on her as it seems to all be wiped from the records
>>53671595
That can tie neatly into this Anon's post >>53671503
>>53671601
True, though now we need a quick 1d100 to find out her looks
Rolled 10 (1d100)
>>53671639
please dice gods make Brandon a lucky man
Where'd you get the tables for this?
>>53671655
Nope. Unless there is a hidden rule that allows one reroll per thread brandon's wife is nanny ogg( including the wisdom + amazing cooking skills)
>>53671661
There are no tables, we all make it up as we go along.
>>53671661
For the npc past I made up my own and for looks make stuff up based on a scale of 1-100
Rolled 39 (1d100)
>>53671698
Re rolling, cuz Brandon's wife is going to be waifu material
>>53671750
Not much better, plain looking woman in her mid 40s. Though remember, she might be a callidus, so she might have access to that shape shifting stuff. The current form might be her keeping a low profile while her true form might be true waifu material (maybe samus aran level looks, imagine her in a callidus suit)
And with Mrs bland more or less done we got all the main characters done(I think) Unless people want to add more rolls for random things. I guess it's now writefags time to shine.
(BTW not op, just someone really invested in these characters as the ideas behind them all are great)
>>53671878
>plain looking woman in her mid 40s.
So literally perfect for our down to earth inquisitor...who also happens to be a shapeshifting assassin.
>>53672083
I think fetching some drawfriend might be good, too.
So, are the stories all just retellings of stuff told by the characters while they eat lasagna, cookies... and pot pie?
>>53672153
Well most of them probably,
The important ones are brands past, salazars past, how they met, stories of their conflict + rivalry and when they fight together.
Extras would be day to day life of bland in office and day to day life of his wife
+ we might need to archive all this info on 1d4chan so that there will always be a record online
>>53672307
Should we ask someone in the drawthread?
>>53672660
If someone is willing to do refs, or should we collaborate those too?
>>53672083
What about Bland's two sons? They're both guardsmen under his service, right?
>>53672760
That could be, yes. Unsure about whether they need that much more statting, maybe except their individual exploits and motives.
>>Other stuff now
People seem to still be pretty hung up with the wheelchair, but I'm unsure. We did roll it to be something like an enhanced man with a cane rather than straight-up wheelchair dude.
So before we start making refs we should at least come to a conclusion to how these characters look like.
I'm imagining Inquisitor Bland to be a somewhat kind-looking man laden with cybernetics on the right side of his body (up to his right eye), looking little odd because even though he may smile, he can only smile with half of his mouth. He only smiles home though, otherwise it's all business. Kind of like a cybernetic two-face. The only weapon he carries is a digital weapon integrated to his right middle finger.
I think he would also wear clothes similar to a vizier, fitted and stylized to work with his cybernetics. Doesn't wear armor, but has a Rosarius through connections, as his primary defense against gunfire.
Inquisitor (Lord?) Salazar on the other hand is the epitome of badass old man. Ripped as fuck, clad in fitted power armor, pinkish skin from all the outdoor activity, scars all over his face. No helmet because helmets are for wussies and emperor protects. The armor itself is gilded, has a massive =][= in the chest and has a battle-worn cape attached. And of course, he's carrying an exorcised Daemonblade of Nurgle.
Looks like a small space marine, basically.
That's my image at least.
>>53673301
I see Bland as an unremarkable old man, balding at the top and having a ring of white hair and maybe a white mustache. No beard.
The right side of his body is girdled in a light exoskeleton, think of a more advanced looking leg brace. He controls it with his mind but he can't move his foot or fingers so his movement looks jerky and unnatural. He has a slight paunch belly as he does not get much exercise sitting inside all day and does not usually don his inquisitorial clothes unless needed for official stuff, preferring civilian clothing with maybe an inquisitor's ring or necklace or something.
The right side of his chest has lightning-shaped burn scars that never heal quite completely leaving them feeling itchy. These scars radiate to his right arm and halfway down his right leg.
Salazar would be quite as you describe him, an elderly yet massively muscled man with a shaved head and a fu manchu mustache. Very showy powered armor, purity seals, a cape that seems to be always flowing in the wind and a sheath on his back for his massive daemonblade.
>>53673301
Sounds good for both. However I'm just seeing Salazar as an angry Clint Eastwood.
For bland your depiction sound good, just unsure about the middle finger gun thing. Doesnt really feel like his style. I think (my opinion, dunno how others feel) that his weapon should just be his cane with an inbuilt weapon of sorts. Or just a master crafted cane he can bludgeon others with.
Other than that I'm liking the depictions
>>53673301
>>53673462
>>53673478
How about a power-cane? Looks normal with maybe some cables but can cleave through a battle tank if necessary.
>>53673462
Dude, Bland is young for an Inquisitor. Rolled 40s-50s. I also like the mechanical twoface vibe going on. Maybe does the fancy wheelchair thing for fancy meeting shit. Dig the paraphrasing skull with gold mustache idea too.
>>53673478
Angry Clint Eastwood is pretty good, except with just ALL THE MUSCLE, looking like a strongman.
The digital weapon was just an idea I threw to show his connections.
>>53673496
Allright, you got me. So basically a stylized Crozius Arcanum? That would be pretty good.
>>53673544
Yeah, I think he would look pretty young and have all his hair left, maybe stylized similarly to two-face, with a stylish swirl?
>>53673462
>>53673478
>>53673496
I think Bland works really well if he can walk with help of his cybernetics but still uses a (antigrav)-wheelchair for longer endeavors because standing or walking for long just doesn't work.
I like the rosarius and the fact that you wouldn't expect him beeing an inquisitor. Someone else with a harsh past, but simply not an =][=.
I like the power cane. He might leave trouble to others but he should never be unprepared:
His Vox-servoskull might also include a hidden las-weapon, just to be sure.
Otherwise the gravchair might include a gun or two for when things get ugly, but nothing bigger than a bolter.
>>53673301
Maybe he sticks to the wheelchair unless necessary, because moving those cybernetics hurts like a bitch. But he'll walk a thousand miles if the situation calls for it.
Plus the wheelchair is good for luring people into a false sense of security, and it's packed full of weapons. He likes the nerve implants that let him walk (even though he looks like a deranged robot) but having a flamethrower right next to you is just too good.
>>53673634
This sounds very good to me.
>>53673544
Damn, forgot that. Okay, how about a guy greying at his temples (he got the longevity treatments fairly late in his life, after a career in the Guard).
Maybe has a perpetual 5 o'clock shadow due to poring over tomes and inventory listings all nights.
>>53673707
I think it could be that, in addition to the pain that using the cybernetics cause, he is also a total workhorse, sleeping very little even though he doesn't have implants to forgo sleep.
Maybe his mission routine includes also getting a good night's sleep with his wife before going out on a mission? He is a family man, but he is also a busy man. He spends time with his family during days, but works all the nights, basically. And is always on standby.
How's that sound?
>>53673836
I'm thinking of putting together a reference picture for Brandon, anyone up for making one for Salanzar? We can mash the requests to one later.
>>53666740
>Psykers and mutants are meant to serve
>Dude's mute and half paralysed
>Still a hardworking inquisitor
>Still eats dinner with his family
The guy obviously has psykers enslaved to him by sheer force of will. The dude's a badass. Not many inquisitors can handle the mental, physical, and psychological strain of inquisitioning even with the best meals and medical care. This guy does it while still spending time with his family and being half-crippled with his vocal chords cut out.
I just realized Brandon is pretty close to pic related.
Hardworking, meticulous, has ties to people much stronger than him, uses the fact that people underestimate him to his favor...
Just add being a mute family man on top of that and you're quite good. Also the fact that he is also still pretty capable at fighting, so he's pretty close to just Varys with several notches of badass.
I also like the look of his robes, would that be a good style to go with, maybe changing the colors to a more fitting for an Inquisitor?
Otherwise he looks pretty different. I'm thinking him as a more ghostly man (with hair, of course).
>>53676227
Have Brandon look like a mix of tywin Lancaster and varys size in the same types of robes but red with gold lining.
And add a boatload of cybermetic enhancements to him like twoface.

>Younger Charles Dance
You motherfucker, that's perfect
I imagine that Salanzar looks like Satan from Dragonball, maybe a bit greyer. But that's how I imagine him in my head. He can even be as boastful as Satan
>>53676909
Oh god. His face on the saiyan who came with vegeta when they were antagonists in heavy inquisitor armor and a sword that looks like frostmourne

You mean Nappa?

That's the one.

THRONE-DAMMIT SALAZAR
>>53678188
Alright, I have made a shit tier request pic, with some shitty graphics to make the idea more clear.
Behold.
Now, before we get hasty, let's discuss things we might need to add. I will be busy for a little while though.

Inquisitor Hawking up in here
>>53666880
The power of autism
I say one of Blands sons is a officer in Mordian Regiment and its sometimes deployed for fathers request while the other is a Imperial Navy officer piloting fathers ships
>>53678248
I think I will make the request (Brandon only for starters), asking for everything in the pic and a pose of either leaning against the cane or sitting on a grav chair that looks like a gothic throne.
Oh yes, almost forgot the servo skull.
Objections? I need to sleep, but someone can keep watch in the drawthread in case we get a delivery. And if someone would make a request pic for Salazar, it would be pretty neat.
>>53680895
Sounds good, and ye olde golden stache skull is a must.

also, i think Salazar ought to look like pic related but older

Contain the story larger than life into one post
Just read the whole thread, freaking epic stuff
One of the main contributers of thread here, currently in wake up process but I'll try and do a salazar story bout his possession and how he met Brandon.
Not promising anything good though.
Someone roll a 1d100 to see how mad things have been for Salazar
Rolled 61 (1d100)
>>53687370
I'll do one post when I get back in a few hours, I will be busy.
>*Oh Theodore, It's been two hundred years. You still hanging on in the back there? As it is the two hundredth anniversary of me owning your body i have to give you my thanks. You and your master trying to stop that ritual to summon me and how instead of simply following orders you tried to be a hero and save everyone. I have to give thanks to that as otherwise the ritual would not have finished and i would not have had access to this body, this amazing body. Also what stroke of luck that your master had been carrying this fancy sword i now own but not knowing how to use it to seal me away in it. I have to say im surprised your stubborness has kept you from going mad while i spread nurgle's love throughout this planet, soon all the grain shipments ive been oh so working hard to create will be ready to send to all corners of the imperium. And then father nurgle will reward me again, I can't wait to be in his embrace again. Now all i have to d-----*
Prologue done, though it might be a bit of a wait for the next part as i have lots of things to do (also i hate being sick...)
>>53666470
What the fuck kind of paralysis do you think leaves someone with no mouth/arm control, but able to run around like a chicken?
>>53687810
that's good mate but honestly sounds more slaneshi than does nurgle.
>>53687874
uhh... partial paralysis is a thing mate
>>53687874
Different guy here - I'm reading the damage as psychic in nature. There's nothing physically wrong with him, but something has been screwed with. Think of it like an extreme form of hysterical blindness - by all medical standards he should be fully functional, but he just cannot speak or use the right side of his body.
>>53681561
That, but much larger, almost Space Marine size due to his ridiculous physique. Bald head, scarring all over it, white fu manchu mustache. Wields a two-handed daemonblade with a single hand and a powerfist in his other hand. A cape that seems to be perpetually flowing whether there is wind or not, large amounts of Inquisitorial bling such as golden skulls and purity seals.
>>53689424
Nearly 150 years as a daemonhost to a Daemon prince of Nurgle would have left some nasty fucking scars - not to mention that the guy is probably on a shitload of antibiotics and steroids for the rest of his life.
>>53689610
Jesus, that explains why his Amazon Penal legion are constantly getting outbreaks of the clap.
I have found a song fitting for Salazar

Dammit now im think of salazar looking like Hol Horse from JJBA
Right, writefag here, im back from dying of sickness, still not perfect but i can right the next small part.
Btw if anyone thinks they can do better than me they are goddamn welcome to write something superior.
Also, the more i write Brandon's vox unit the more i feel im writing 3-cp0
>*After an explosion blew through the room big shiny shapes started moving through and when the smoke cleared out grey knights stood there, weapons at the ready, behind them a unit of stormtroopers formed around an important looking figure.* "Inquisitor theodore, you have been found guilty of working against the welfare of the empire of mankind! We have found traces of chaos in your grain shipments and have promptly burnt it all! Surrender and face judgement!" A voice boomed from one of the grey knights.
>Demon Theodore stood there, jaws agape in surprise then anger. How did they know? how did they figure out his plan? Everything was flawless in execution. He then managed to get a clear look at the the figure surrounded by storm troopers. He recognized the book worm, he had a chat with that person some meer years ago when he was handing in a false report. "The cripple?" Demon theo slobbered out. "How did you figure out my plan?" He demanded.
The Man stood there and let out a sigh. Shortly after a smaller shape appeared behind him, a jokaero smith with a servo skull for a head.
>"Master Bland says it was quite easy, you just made a couple of errors in your last report. He asks you to explain why the hell a world known for providing mining shipments all of a sudden would start making grain."
1st part done, next part will explain why the hell Brandon Bland is there. Feedback is welcome and if you think i did a shody job then tell me and ill see if i can change things.
I don't mind the modified servoskull working as his voice, but I can't say I like the idea of a Jokaero being his butler. They are incredibly valuable, and a non-combat non-prestigious Inquisitor probably wouldn't be allowed to keep one. Plus, it attracts attention to Bland, which he surely wouldn't want.
>>53693392
agreed
IF there was a Jokaero butler/dogsbody then said Jokaero would be home with Missus Bland running errands and entertaining/nannying/protecting the little ones.
>>53693530
>>53693392
Not liking jokaero, got it. My logic was that something was needed to maintain Bland's cybernetics and because he has friends in high places he could have asked someone for a jokaero.
Though if the jokaero isn't liked then i can from now on just write a modified servoskull in instead of the jokaero. (not writing atm cos still trying to recover)
>>53693638
Yeah, IMO the Jokaero is kind of cartoony.
What about a novice Lexmechanic/Rune Priest, who helps integrate/compel those troublesome systems to give up their data for Bland to analyse?
>>53696248
What about his kid? Maybe a daughter, one who's not a field operative.
>>53696700
That's an interesting question; would he be willing to send one of his family to study on Mars? That would definitely drive a wedge between the two of them, given that they'd have to swear fealty to Mars above all else.
I kind of see him as the type of person who wades through the shit of the world so that others don't have to. He'd want to shelter his family from the realities of his job as much as possible, I'd think.
What about someone liberated from some terrible circumstance? Minor Lexmechanic who found evidence of heresy, but could not report it directly, and instead left a coded trail in the data logs that Bland found?
>>53696248
>>53696866
actually just got a good idea from this
He keeps the servoskull for when hes out on the field. However becaause of the whole paralyzed thing his wife pretty much forced him to have an assistant.
Guy/gal from the forgeworld which made Brandon's cybernetics who is still an adept. And when Brandon is too tired or is forced to take a break by his wife all the workload is dumped on the bugger. But everything is fine cos he gets access to lasagna and pot pie.
So just a final check, jokaero is gone right? back to just servo skull.
>>53696979
Let's make it a girl, we need more badass women who follow under Bland
Okay so just laying it out, Bland's retinue and gear:
>IG Platoon at the very least, highly trained bureaucrats but also competent soldiers.
>His two sons are adults and officers within his IG retinue
>Servoskull for fieldwork
>Female techpriest adept, serves him when he's doing his more usual tasks
>Ornamental hoverchair that has a shitton of hidden weaponry for more official tasks
>Customized light exoskeleton to wear in the field and support his movement in general
>Power-cane, looks like an imperial scepter or such but can cleave a Land Raider in two
>Luxury yacht that works as his moving command post, houses his family and retinue
>Shitty rusty tug that he lends to Inquisitor Salazar
quickly, i need a name for the techpriest, currently typing next part

Lucilla Verrucosus
*A week back*
>Brother Crisma walked through the ships corridors flanked by stormtroopers following a techpriest. The local inquisitor had called on the grey knights for what was apparently an emergency. Crisma and his squad were the closest ones and thus were chosen to assist the inquisitor. The problem was that Crisma never heard of this inquisitor. He's met many in the past but never had he heard the name Brandon Bland. He had to admit that the ship did show off quite a bit, decorations adorning the walls all ranging from flowers to lavish paintings, this Bland person might prove to be quite a colourful character.
> The techpriest stopped at a great double door with the word: Office emblazoned on the front. She pressed on a buzzer. "This is your assistant Lucilla Verrucosus, your guest has arrived" she announced. After a short pause the doors slowly opened, revealing a stark contrast to the rest of the ship. This was an oval room with the walls lined in files and folders. At the end of the room was a basic desk with barely anything other than more piles of paper and files. Behind the desk was what at first seemed like a normal plain looking man sitting in a hover chair. However as Brother Crisma got close he noticed more details on the inquisitor.
> Half the man's body were covered in implants, from the basic eye lens which probably housed a camera to braces on the arms and legs that seemed to indicate that without them inquisitor would not be able to move around.
>"Greetings inquisitor, I am Brother Crisma of the grey knights, We received received a an emergency call in your name and my unit and i were sent to assist. What is the emergency this time inquisitor?" the knight proudly exclaimed.
Part 2 done, sorry it took so long, stuff happened and now im heading off to bed. Again, feedback is welcome and I can change things if needed.
Rolled 1 (1d5)
>>53698391
Before the thread dies, I gotta remind people that we should design his acolytes.
Is Lucilla one of them?
Rolling 1d5 (the expected amount of players of a Dark Heresy game) for how many acolytes he has.
>>53698512
Well, that is pretty fucking sad. Is Lucilla his one and only acolyte?
I think it would fit his image, and the dice have spoken.
We need a name for the next thread
"The Life and Times of Inquisitor Bland", maybe?
>>53698571
could work
again, hopefully someone has archived this properly for future reference.
>>53698716
You mean, like, 1d4chan? I think I can do that tomorrow (of course, this thread will be kill in a few minutes, but it will stay in archive and desu for a while).
Should I include the rolls?
>>53698892
Yeh, maybe keeping the rolls until we have everything smoothed out sounds like an idea so we can use them as references
