If you want something magical, scrolls of cantrips are 12.5 gold and 1st-level spells are 25 gold. Potions are twice the price of an equivalent scroll. If you want mundane items, what sort of thing are you interested in doing and what do you already have? Spring-loaded wrists sheaths and rope are always good.

It says it's barbarian-only but it was written before bloodragers existed, and since bloodragers are a fusion of barbarians and sorcerers it's not unreasonable to ask and see if it still works. 25 gp a day for an additional round of bloodrage can be really handy when you end up needing it.

Overall, the execution is pretty sloppy and all over the place. The abilities and fluff don't play well together at all, and the wording is very vague and poorly constuction. While most of the abilities themselves aren't too bad, its still a chore to read through them and interpret what the bloody hell you just wrote.

Really, this class needs a hard take back to the drawing board and given a heavy face-lift. Further the feel of the abilities also seems to heavily coincide with the with the Witch in flavor as well.

It's basically the stereotypical situation of a villain having somebody mesmerized and trapped in their own mindscape, so it's the sort of scene that's cool in theory (especially if it's coupled with the trapped character being forced to confront inner demons) but not the kind of thing you'd typically do in Pathfinder.

Not even asking for a game, just wondering what people think, since I know /pfg/ (or should that be /ppg/ now?) is full of normal and well-adjusted players.

If the PC isn't in danger, and the whole situation is meant from a narrative purpose to simply delay the PC (or the party, if they're all in similar situations), does that change things? Knife Master Rogue, Dwarven Fighter, Human Bard, Diviner Wizard. All around level 4. Not super-optimized, but not horrible.

As for the dungeons, I was thinking of doing a ruined fortress in a prehistoric swamp that was dragged to the present by a magical accident. That, or the tomb of an insane, slime-obsessed wizard (With appropriate slime-based traps)

Yeah, that would explain it, although the armor isn't mentioned in the first .pdf. Also primalist isn't mandatory, taking it gives you the option of replacing bloodline powers with 2 rage powers instead, so there's literally no reason not to be one. Average football players weight 220-235 pounds so, your weight is spot-on, honestly.

Most of the archetypes for bloodrager won't flat-out make you better at wrecking shit, usually they give you new ways to wreck shit like summoning allies, doing it in heavy armor, or whatever at a tradeoff. If smashing shit is the only thing you want and you want to keep all your bloodline powers, vanilla bloodrager is the best option.

I've got a rough outline worked out for her backstory. Shoanti, member of the Shoanti Sklar-Quah (post Crimson Throne, after a peaceful resolution by the party from Throne). Her coming-of-age was her solo raiding a bunch of orks and showing off her absolutely violent temper that earned her the name Raised-by-Orcs, from an elder who /really/ didn't like her or her branch of the family for political reasons. Okay, after doing a bit of reading about it how about this.

The events leading up to the Gap is taking place and some members of Abadar's faith decide to do what their god did and create a super vault of valuable things (i'm thinking a sort of colony ship). The Gap happens and people's memories are wiped so you have all of these people on this vault ship and they can't remember why they are there but realize that the things they are with are super important and try to educate themselves from it with incomplete understanding (basically reading college level material but only being in kindergarden)

I'm not sure how the presence of a Devil would play into it but now I imagine their Vault Ship would be their main base of operation.

Divergent styles. Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and to a lesser extent Monster Hunter are action games designed around the idea that actions have weight and momentum behind them, and you can't just pull out of a swing if you realize you're about to take an axe to the jaw. the player is designed for that, the monsters are designed for that, and thus it gives you a bit more of a sense of movement, weaight, and when you can commit to actions.

Meanwhile, the more common Action Games like Devil May Cry or God Hand are based on the idea of changing direction very quickly and responding rapidly to a changing environment. The invincibility frames for dodges are way different, and many attacks from enemies have next to no windup because that matches how well the main character can dodge - oftentimes, straight out of an attack animation like a motherfucker.

I guess I'm more defensive. I like to hold back, wait until I can spot a pattern and find a good way to fight around it, with copious amounts of circle-strafing. Its sorta the reason why bosses like Pursuer, Artorias, Twin Princes, King of Storms, O&S, and such tend to be easy, yet Sullyvahn, Ludwig Accursed, Orphan, and the Ptumerian guy with the shotels always pushes my shit in.

Though recently I've just not started to experiment with offensive Qualiy builds, and have noticed that they shred through bossess much quicker than my usual Caster schtick. My recent For Honor cosplay run o DS3 has been quite the learning experience, though I guess it was also kinda easier since I tended t not actually cast much at all really in DS3 since Magic just isn't great, so the extra damage from going full martial sped things up.

Bu yeah, I guess I just react better when I have the better opportunity to feel out my surroundings and fights, gives me a better sense of control and anticipation for the next attack. Fight smarter, not harder, y'know?

Both still feel like definite work in progresses, with decent content that's there.

There's not much to say about Aurelia yet. She's more weakly written than the other champion of love, but she's also a cute girl and as presented has great potential for party dynamics compared to a guy who comes with his own love interest.

Sibyl mostly suffers from being Rintaelle but weaker right now. Her philosophy is different though and it's well presented right from this draft, could end up being a nice competition when the character is ready. Also her art is cuter.

There're definitely a few people around here who always post late, and ignoring final day apps, we have three weeks for normal apps to impress us or for some currently weak app to get a great rewrite or for a placeholder to expand into something good.
