Speaking as an asspie, I'm guilty of rambling on about stuff, but as soon as it's made clear that I'm being disruptive, it's on me to stop.
There have also been times where people have told me I'm being disruptive and when I ask what I'm doing wrong, flat out refuse to tell me. Fuck those people.
I know a lot of asspies that have the rambling problem. They generally want to improve and tend to be pretty receptive to being told "Shut the fuck up, you're being annoying." But of course, there are exceptions.

Good characters should never "just happen to be" anything. All of their personality attributes should be connected to one another and a part of their identity. For instance, a character shouldn't "just happen to be" racist - perhaps instead they hate a certain race because their father was murdered by a member of that race. A character shouldn't "just happen to be" homosexual, they should be homosexual because they listened to liberals as a kid. That sort of thing.
