We could try evacuating the species before you consume the star's energy. To let them die is wrong, but the Behemoth must feed or it itself would die.A decision would require deliberation from the Federation itself. How long would it take before the star dies?

How long would it take for you to arrive?I would rather have the rest of the Federation here before a drastic decision is made.
>>

With the recent victory over Hive forces, the Duke has sent his personal thanks to any nations that participated in the battle.
>>
>>53574830
Thank you, although the Plaraxian fleet played a larger part than we did in the battle.
>>
>>53574850
Well you owed us nothing and helped. The Plaxorians paid back their debt for our intervention in their civil war.
>>
>>53574850
Sorry,Ploraxian. This translator of mine has been acting up recently.
>>
>>53574874
Least I could do.The Dukedom helped me allow the Wastes into the Federation. As far as I'm concerned their wars are mine as well.
>>

So,now that some more Federation members are here, what do you think we should do concerning the Behemoth?
>>
>>53576183
The behemoth?
>>
>>53576327
Yes,the Behemoth. It was weak ended during its usage in the defense of Yss,and now must feed on a star.A nearby blue star is the only one that can suffice, but it has a population that, while not sentient completely, has discovered fire.
>>
>>53576358
Does this population stand in the way of the Behemoth?
>>
>>53577204
Not necessarily, although their star is need to sustain the Void Behemoth.Feeding on it would doom the inhabitants.Any ideas on what to do?I already let the Behemoth go to the star, but the Voidspeaker is still here for ideas.
>>
>>53577500
What is the basis of the species? Are they Avian, reptilian etc? If they are Avian we willl gladly take over them and find s reserve for them.
>>
>>53578614
I would not know. The Voidspeaker was the one to find this planet.
>>
>>53579018
I should ask when he reappears. But tell me, what news of the Wastes?
>>
>>53579172
The Carnem Wastes are the same as before the Hive emerged.I assume it must've attacked the Nietzsche and hidden inside it when it crashed into the Wastes.Regardless, the inhabitants are fine,or as fine as anyone is in that place. The Organ that was malfunctioning earlier has turned blue, though,so we pushed it out of the system.

It will likely hatch soon, given the time displacement of the Wastes,so I have sent escorts with it,and a live feed to watch it.I don't know how the stellar Phoenix inside would react from gestating in an Organ, but I will make sure it doesn't come to harm while its people come pick it up.How is the creature I gifted to your Wake King?

He finds it most enjoyable, and already has scars to show for it. He has name it Anri'not, which means Bile Blood. He has taken quite a shine to it, more than any other he has ever taken in.
>>
>>53574830
We offer a kind welcome, Taxla!
>>53579509
We can organize a fleet to help contain it, with technology just recently found by the research facilities on Orsterp.
>>
>>53579617
Oh, very well then. We also will sell some military ships to you as well, as part of Kinrotos XVII's downsizing program, from about an active 10 billion, to 9 billion. We have arms to sell, along with ships.
>>
>>53579523
Don't worry,I ain't leaving you out.I'm trying to get everyone's photo.Maybe not those who only post once and stuff, but most people's photos.
>>

>>
>>53579617
Bile Blood, what a good name for something that feeds on acid.It is good that he likes it so much.If he ever needs vicious creatures,I'll be happy to oblige.
>>
>>53579794
Now that you mention it, many of the nobility of Dreothe are asking for such creatures, they see it as a new way to prove themselves.
>>
>>53579841
>>53579794
The Ploraxians suggest Doomhammer.
>>
>>53573615
Non-sentient? Why should we care if they don't?
>>
>>53579656
Thank you, that would be appreciated.Who knows what would prey on a Stellar Phoenix.
>>
>>53579841
Really?Well,then I could offer a few if you'd wish.
>>
>>53579872
I personally do not care that much myself, however a different solution that wouldn't kill them would be better, and cater to some of the more pacifist members of this Federation.
>>
>>53579896
It is fine.
>>
>>53579851
I'm certainly using that as a name for another, that's for sure, but I think it is already named Anri'not.
>>
>>53579975
Yes. Especially the species belonging to ambassador Phss.
>>
>>53579935
As many as can be rounded up. I have been told to offer a deposit payement of 300 Nitronite crystals, with another 700 to follow after the shipment is complete. For note these crystals are extremely valuable, but the denizens of Dreothe have them in great abundance.
>>
>>53573511
I have arrived, now what did i miss
>>
>>53579991
Yes.In fact,Phss could help.Maybe he could modify one of his shields to emit solar light.Once the star is consumed, install it to prevent the population from dying.
>>
>>53580040
Oh,hello. It appears we have not met.I am Carter, ambassador of the Carnem Wastes. We recently repelled an invasion from a Hivemind, and are now deliberating on how to feed the Void Behemoth of our Voidspeaker ally.
>>
>>53580040
tl;dr a fuckhueg hive invaded, we repelled, the species which Phss is got triggered, and we are rebuilding.
>>
>>53580040
Thanks for showing up,I got your pic for the drawing request.
>>
>>53580082
Phss also provided a solution, and prevented their extinction. Not to cause disrespect my friend, but remember that sometimes an alternate view is a view to behold.
>>
>>53580073
good to meet ye lad,I am Rukaar Bloodchosen king of the rumar and feedin that void man if the race in question is non sentient we can help by taking them our many game worlds what does this species look like
>>
>>53580073
Yes. Another thing is that I do not trust these shields. These are lovecraftian creatures, this might offend some people, but eldritch abominations ( no offense, I just couldn't find the correct term) who knows what they are! I believe we should evacuate the population via a massive transport convoy. We have found a suitable world right next to the border with the Dabulans, a pristine, albeit minor gaia world. We can simulate the conditions of one of their caves, and evac them to Jhoir IVb.
>>
>>53580123
Yes. My apologies, I... I took great offense to the statements which he made about me, and I am all for a peaceful solution. He insults me, I was forced into the first hive war! I nearly died, you see these prosthetic! That was shrapnel from an organ-shredder grenade.
>>
>>53580131
Hello,King Rokaar.Well, from a scout ship I sent they seem to be a cave dwelling amphibian species.
>>
>>53580156
It is fine.I was in a war as well, and I know how one can feel remembering atrocity, but keep in mind that Phss' people abhor war.He didn't mean to insult,I'm sure,it just was that he spoke a bit to bluntly.
>>
>>53580163
size and feedin habits my kind will take them as good game warriors, they will not be hunted to extiction but those that do die will meet good deaths.
we have many worlds they can be shipped to,we can teach them to hunt and fight then have friendly wars.
>>
>>53580131
Yes. Rukaar, my friend! How are you! Our fleet has been held at the colony of Farpoint, ever since the Holiday Conflict. Another thing is that we are close the Kjsst territory, and we will initiate contact soon.
>>
>>53580206
aye and who might you be lad my eye sight isn't what it use ta be
>>
>>53580192
As for the shields,I'm sure they would hold. The Voidspeaker has proven itself to be trustworthy, and coming from an Eldritch land myself I could handle it if something happened.Regardless, your idea has merit as well.Could you sustain the species without issue?
>>
>>53580236
We can. Its a bloody gaea world for all I care.
>>53580229
I am representative Inkito, of the Imperial Ploraxian Realms.
>>
>Dukedom news broadcasts that 500 new battleships have been commissioned by naval high command, with over 200 of them being of the Ra class designation. Thousands of smaller vessels are also being built in what's being dubbed 'The Great Flock'.
>>
Well, this is unexpected. It seems I must go to the Wastes, the Organ is acting up and I wish to be there in person to view it.I will return shortly,my friends, but in the meantime I support your ideas of transporting the species, either to the King's game worlds or Jhoir IVb.
>>
>>53580256
Ah,long time since i seen a ploraxian your king still upset of the great war,or is that been forgotton
>>
>>53580286
I'm afraid about if it is the space of one power, the people maybe exploited. Jhoir is in shared space between: Ploraxian, Dabulan, Human, and W'nai empires. It would make sense to keep it there. It is a bit small, at 13 tiles, but it is still a good effort.
>>
>>53580325
Kinrotos XVI? I have no idea about that war, but he is dead. His son, after a brutal civil war rose to power, he is Kinrotos XVII.
>>
>>53580359
my kind is not one to exploit,we have honor and dont have anything to exploit them for we dont have trees to cur down we live in coral caves and live of the wild they would do the same as my kind so dont say we would exploit them ya git
>>
>>53580387
My apologies. I... worry about them. I have dealt with empires in the past doing such things. It would be best to start do Jhoir IVa.
>>
>>53580421
understandable but my kind would give them a fair chance
i understand ya choice for da jhoir but my game worlds are large and have damp caves and many food supplies we could teach them aswell
>>
>Scientists at Patrax Labs have also finished the development of brand new Lance technology, tests showing that it is a superior equivalent to the more common Tachyon lances employed.
>>
>>53580466
>Scientists at Osterp Laboratories have theorized a new and experimental Jump technology, which can be employed. The engineering employment has discovered synthetics, near alike A.I.
>>
>>53580464
I do understand, but a federation precense would be advised. How about this. Since due to astronomical trickery, there have been some living on their moon. We will transport half of the total population to Jhoir, and the other half to your game world.
>>
>Dukedom admirals are currently serving at the Patrax Labs on Yss to see the new weapon. The only currently confirmable feature is that the energy is near golden in colour.
>>
>>53580533
first question i got is how may of dem is a comin here then which game world is dey goin
>>
>>53580553
There are about 50 million on the planet, along with 10 million on the moon.
>>
>>53580575
30 million will be taken to Jhoir, 30 million will be sent to your world.
>>
>>53580575
dat will work and i gots three worlds open ill send five crews to grab and deliever the gits to my worlds
>>
>>53580600
>>53580575
I will commence evacuation immediately.
>Representative Inkito says This is big falcon to little falcon, commence evacuation immediately. Direct the behemoth to the seventh planet.
>>
>>53580624
>In a period of three days, the entire planet is lifted. With mass tranquilization and the filling of the planet with a special gas, they are peacefully transported to their new homes, and the behemoth commences feeding of the star, as in a brilliant flash of light, the convoy leaves towards these systems.
>>
>A Ra class battleship is equipped with the new lances. Another ship with scientists, engineers and admirals aboard watch as the lance cannon takes aim at the asteroid. A brilliant golden beam strikes it and destroys it almost instantly, sending chunks of debris everywhere.
>>
>>53580624
>inaudible bellowing echos from rumarian channels
my men are gettin to tha planet as fast as Rumaki can carry dem
>>
>The new lances are being named Orga lances, after the Yssravannar word for golden. Dukedom ships equipped with lance technology are to be equipped with the new weapons, but this will be a slow process. We are awaiting further developments.

We can replace the avians. With something far greater. Tell me Rumar, do your people enjoy a hunt, where the tables of hunter and hunted can be unbalanced? A true hunt. Something a semi-sentient Race of avians could never provide.

Joplin the world of Dreothe, inhabited by the Wake King p, dwells a species of reptilians of immense size, and vicious intelligence hidden behind their facade of viciousness. They inhabit the highest mountain range of that world. They are capable of surviving direct blasts, breed rapid enough to sustain population and from the few captured specimens, are capable of surviving in most any environments. If you are interested I can divulge more of this race.

Oh. Oh my.

>>53582411
To the honorable Baron, I know we have only just begun our dialogue between our species, but I besiege you- please, do not enter into war with the Rumar. Aggressive they may be, but it is by design, as they are a vital part of the security of the places between stars.

There are older, far deadlier things in this galaxy that you might not be aware of, the kinds of things that give even us pause, and the Rumar have protected the other races for generations- alone if need be.

I implore you, work with them. And keep an open mind, something I know which you are capable of.
>>
>>53582674
We thank you for your wisdom Great One, but this case is special to us, a race of avians is at stake of being related to nothing more than prey for the Rumar. We wish to give this race a chance to achieve something more, more than game animal.

Actually Rukaar, may I ask a question?ZhaiMyrTwal said you've fought very old beings in the past. The Carnem Wastes have existed since the universe's first stars, and so I must ask:did you ever hunt a large, whale like creature, like a sack filled with bodies?
>>

Good. Also,I was wondering if your species is affected by their type of egg.Given that this one is a pulsating mass of flesh, would that affect the avian inside?

Ha. I would be quite intrigued by anything that can warp our biology so. I-

Strange...My colleagues that have entered the upper atmosphere have reported their flames have been altered. By mere contact with the atmosphere? What is this strange...

This is...unprecedented. They have reached the nest...I shall relay the image as one of the scouts sees it.

What is your word for this phenomenon? Triplets? This...hasn't happened before.

Ever.

Maybe the Organ help foster more nutrients for triplets? It wasn't even supposed to hatch yet until a few decades, but the Wastes has little concept of time.

Really? That's a shame, kinda wanted to talk to him. How'd he die?
>>
>>53583174
fighting off a horde of void creatures that look much like the voidspeakers ilk,he died like a true warrior and only one i know of is as old as he was before his death
>>
>>53583153
Indeed...this is most intriguing. I formally request establishing an embassy within the Wastes to study these...effects the area has on my species. A small detachment from our caravan, myself, half a dozen scientists and the two already at the nest- since they appear to be bonding with out hatchlings already. Once they are strong enough to move, we can relocate them at your discretion.

You know the area best, so we shall leave determining the location up to you. And you needn't worry about construction- my kind can materialize anything we require. So long as the atmosphere isn't prone to molecular bonding dispersion, we can have a suitable research station created within a month.

The majority of the caravan will be leaving local space, regardless. The songs of the stellar winds has given us much wanderlust this past century.
>>
>>53583276
It is good he died that way,and not just of something like age or disease.I can barely remember him,but I know he was a great warrior. And made a good liquor.
>>
>>53583294
It is your choice. The Wastes are infinitely large, and yet has little landmarks.Your scientists may go anywhere they please, but beware,as there are many creatures that could harm you, even considereing that your are a stellar being. However,I'd prefer it if you made your way to the flesh rock pillar in the west.It house the wreck of the Nietzsche where the Hive was found, and I would like for you to keep watch for any robotic beings you see.A good friend of mine sent two of his own on an expedition, but they wandered of as the rest of the fleshy ones were ripped apart.

Another thing is that we have recently known about the treatment of non-avians in the Dukedom. We wish to address the issue here.
>>

We have had nearly 3000 cases for asylum from non-avian residents of the Dukedom, and most were from the southeast region of the empire.

Still,I doubt that. The Dukedom may have those who consider themselves higher then non avian, but that can be chalked up to their honor, and often underestimating other cultures.Even their Princes have shown respect to us,and I personally can attest to that.Furthermore, more and more Dukedom individuals are seeing non avians as worthy of respect.
>>
>>53587897
It isn't discrimination. It is just a culture's way of seeing things. Most aviamos aphabe already proven themselves unlike other foreign species, and they feel a kinship with other avians as demonstrated in their willingness to save a species that just discovered fire, and being willing to go to war over them.Although discrimination will obviously exist in the Dukedom,it also will exist in nearly every empire, simply because we all aren't Hiveminds.Well, most of us.

Well if it must be addressed. Non-Avians are not allowed to live within the worlds of the Dukedom. However we are not barbarians who purge other races due to lack of something, rather we see to them leaving our space to find a future elsewhere. Such deportations are long processes you see, and thus require cooperation to achieve them. At this current time we are evacuating no less than 3 non-avians from two separate worlds.
>>

After the disagreement with the dukedom has been settled Rumar have spread the peak lizards on five worlds in their game worlds,The peak lizards have excelled so far when it comes to hunts providing a good challenge for the great hunt and their flesh tastes good both raw and cooked
>>
>After arriving upon the jungle moon of Petrea, the newly arrived avians have begun to settle in. They are unsure and seem frightened of their new surroundings, but this shock is due to wear off relatively soon. One of the military installations in the jungle has been turned over to the biology department to oversee the new arrivals.

>>
>>53592446
It is okay to do so. We are also worried about our non-avian citizens who choose to visit the Dukedom. The case of Glossruch Jemlussch.
>>
>>53592467
Non-Avian tourism and economic/diplomatic visits are legal under the current Dukedom constitution. We also pursue cases of discrimination against non-avians. We are a civilised people, after all.
>>
>>53592512
Oh. My apologies then. We hope that you are a civilized people, then. And you are.
>>
>>53592455
bzzt- Greetings, Ploraxians. We are the Kjsst-Latch'wal. We are a biological unity, and we are willing to secure a peaceful contact. We wish for peace, and peace only.
>>
>>53592446
I am curious Ambassador, are non-Avians allowed to visit your worlds? Is it just that non-Avians are not allowed to live and migrate permanently on your worlds?
>>
>>53592661
Speaker, they are allowed to do so. But, there have been a couple of cases of discrimination, and we are hoping to solve that. They aren't allowed to live on their worlds.
>>
>>53592661
Ventures by non-avians to the worlds within the Dukedom are permitted, be they tourism or diplomatic. Non-avians are not permitted to insist the worlds within our space and we hand them over to other empires where they can build a life in their systems.

The world of Dreothe however is strictly off limits to all non-avians, however.

Pay is not necessary,Baron Taxla. To pay for a creature from the Wastes is like paying for dirt on a terrestrial planet,in that it's everywhere.Regardless,I'm shipping an assortment of them to Yss.Afterwards they will be distributed to their respective nobles. And do not worry, they will be in my bioships. Those are piloted by worse creatures,so the transportees won't even try to escape.
>>
>>53594296
That would do rather nicely in my opinion! Just get some extra seats added in, or something like that.
>>
>>53594331
Youz be surprise'ed by 'ow much a package of dirt goesi for on'ah one ah d'oughz heavily pop-uz-latedz world's wit all da biggy cities dat covah da entire planet!
>>
>>53594381
I know, although personally I think that if you wanna see dirt just move instead of ordering it.But what I mean is that the Wastes has a lot of them.
>>
>>53594357
Ok.
>>
>>53594285
Rest then Kinrotos, we shall resume when you have rested.
>>
>>53594331
Stupendous, we shall be ready to receive your ships on Yss. I you do not seek pay we must offer you debt repayment in some way. Name what you desire and we will see I done.
>>
>>53594790
Could you transport some coffee over to the outpost near the Wastes? Not inside, given that that would be a death wish, but simply outside. And a coffee equivalent is fine instead.I just can't get any here.
>>
Afternoon everyone. Hows the meeting been so far.
>>
>>53595066
The world of Harmon has coffe plantations on it, so this can be arranged. Personally I don't see the appeal, I prefer tea from Yss.
>>
>>53595112
Very good, the Ploraxian Emporer had a meeting with the Wake King.
Do you have a picture that you want to use for the draw request?
>>
>>53595128
Tea is great, but I just want to have some.It reminds me of my youth, before the Carnem Wastes.
>>
>>53595172
Some coffee,I mean.
>>
>>53595172
Coffee has a adverse effect on Yssravannar, we find tea very comforting.
>>
>>53595263
Adverse effects?Like what?
>>
>>53595303
It can cause a extreme frenzy, or cause extreme blood pressure increase, and it can cause blackouts.
>>
>>53595338
Well, then do you grow it for trade reasons only?
>>
>>53595409
Coffe is grown on on Harmon, inhabited by the Quikx. It's their primary export. Tea is grown on Yss in abundance, also on Murder and High Roost.
>>
>>53595465
Ok then.Well, thank you for shipping it over.Havent had some coffee in a couple centuries.
>>
>>53595513
Of course my friend. Tell me what is it that extends your life for so long?
>>
>>53595548
Time doesn't affect me anymore, ever since the Wastes.I've also found myself in the past and future, although those areas were eaten by an eldritch creature.I've been in the Wastes ever since 1921,in Earth years.
>>
>>53595595
That is a considerable amount of time, does the Wastes do this to all who enter?
>>
>>53595613
Over time yes. However, most don't survive that long, and you eventually can't leave the Wastes without special precautions. This body is just a surrogate with consciousness transference, while my own is hooked up in a flesh pod.I wouldn't recommend it.I still have my old U.S. uniform from the Great War,because it's been preserved.Time doesn't exist here,or at least not always.
>>
>>53595682
Then I will have to steer clear. The idea of immortality, in any of its forms, chills me greatly and puts a fear in my heart I have not felt in many years.
>>
>>53595714
Yes,it sounds terrifying.Luckily the Wastes will never cease,so I always will have something to do.Regardless,i could always kill myself if I get bored. So,how's Yss now that the Hive is completely gone.
>>
>>53595748
A air of relief hangs over us, and we are organising a victory celebration, in which many rulers in the Dukedom will arrive, including the Duke himself.

Many, myself included, lament that the Festivial of Unification was interrupted. It is a extremely significant time for us.
>>
>>53595900
Could I attend, despite not being avian? Also, why is the festival significant?
>>
>>53596001
You are a friend of mine and I will vouch for your attendance.

As for the festival of Unification, it celebrates the end of the Great War fought on our world over 230 years ago. If you would like to know more about it I will gladly divulge.
>>
>>53593793
It's not, there's at the very least three different people
>>
>>53596065
Thank you,I would like to see the festival and meet your people face to face. So,what was this Great War?
>>
>>53596210
Our people used to be divided into many Baronys and County's. The largest was the Grand Barony of Mexe. When the Grand Baron attempted to press Unification on the other nations, they refused violently and formed a League to oppose his imperialist dream. For over 40 years brutal battle waged across the entire world, with trench warfare breaking out after the first 3 years. Millions of lives were lost as the war was fought at every corner, every mountain and every island for dominance.
>>
>>53596358
It also saw the introduction of standard infantry into the normal Yssravannar military's, and a period of decline for cavalry as machine guns and artillery were developed and more widely used.

The war scarred the world for generations and was only ended when the legendary 'Otrax Offensive' destroyed all major league forces after 2 years of attack, leading to victory for Mexe and the Unification of Yss.
>>
>>53596404
Could you divulge the Otrax Offensive's specifics?I know quite a bit about trench warframe myself, but it may have been radically different for your species given that you are avians.
>>
>>53595140
>Do you have a picture that you want to use for the draw request?
It would be one of the human admiral protraits
>>
>>53596503
Lord Otrax was placed in command of all Mexe's forces five years prior. He was a strong advocate of aircraft, a new weapon and had thousands manufactured prior to the offensive. He then ordered a massive feint retreat on the primary line infront of the enemy lines. League forces attempted to capitalise by launching a massive offensive, blinded by the thoughts of victory. As they stormed the empty first and second trench lines, never ceasing, Otrax unleashed his aircraft. They swarmed the bewildered league infrantry, and the artillery batteries began to open fire on their backs.

League forces on the front where swiftly overwhelmed by a mass cavalry attack, supported by the aircraft and infantry. The depleted league trenches were defensless against the Mexe assault, resulting in the near 35 deadlock being broken. The commanders were informed to charge to the League capital in Ozan, which was captured after a month. Most league armies were unable to fight the air power which gave Mexe forces a edge in the battles that followed.
>>
>>53596646
The offensive also saw the re-emergence of the Yssravannar knights, as League forces no longer held the defensive advantage to beat them.

>The chamber swells, space folding in on itself, the wrinkles in space-time filling with red antimatter, writhing out like fingers of blood.
>The air becomes filled with hideous silent static, like a backwards scream in hard vacuum, somehow silent yet deafening.
>Unreality coalesces in the chamber, pushing back at reality, bulging and distorting gravity and time. It feels like it occurs in an instant and a millennia all at the same time. It's revolting.
>From the crimson unreality forms an ethereal body, tattered and ruined, from its eyes radiates a colorless malice. When it speaks, it is as if random sounds or words have been cut and played to sound like words from an ancient media device.

Pitious fleshlings. Stardust and water. Space-time manifest. Condolences. Greetings.

We, I, It. The Carmine Plane. The Ascendant Cosmos. Creation's Phantom. The Carmine Plane.

We, Us, I. Have come to judge. Observe. Interdict.

>The phantom becomes more corporeal, it's crackling, distorted speech more coherent.

What "marvels" has this sick excuse for a reality crafted from the mud and dirt? What great works have you temporary slaves to entropy enacted in some vain hope to spite fate, to leave a lasting legacy.

Come, show the devourer of realities that is the Carmine Plane your songs, your stories, your monuments and discoveries. Fail to impress and I will consume your worlds.

Esteemed councilors, venerable senate, it is with pride and melancholy that I announce the Ichorian race as you once knew it is no more. Over the past decade, Ichorian citizens have been seamlessly uploaded into digital forms and given mechanical forms suitable for their occupation. The form you see here today was once known as Shazerad, and Shazerad I shall remain. The Garden of Ichor, however, shall not remain thus. The Ichor had always considered themselves to be the lifeblood of their planet, scrabbling in vast dungeon-cities deep within Planet, and in fact the word "Ichor" is a representation of that; Ichor, the blood of the Gods, sustaining life and bringing vigor to tired soil.

Our people had kept that view to heart, as we traveled the stars, but no longer are we the lifeblood. We are the caretakers of life, sculptors of worlds. We are the Gardeners, and Gardener we shall be. Our people are leaving the husks of our cities to construct vast orbital Habitats upon which we can free ourselves of the limitations of gravity, free from polluting the soil with our oils and trampling feet, free to pursue what we have always sought to do; tend to our worlds and see them flourish with life both thinking and not, pluck pollution from the air of the most toxic of worlds, see them bloom into paradise, and to keep out the wolves who might seek to glut themselves selfishly.

The galaxy is our garden, and we are the Gardeners.
>>
>>53596691
You could take a walk in the Wastes and check it out.It has some cool stuff that would even surprise something like you.I'll send a ship if you can't leave.
>>
>>53596689
Do you still use such knights,or have any of these aircraft preserved?
>>
>>53596759
one of the things I hated in stellaris was how they didn't have unique robot/synth portraits for different races

Your new forms are quite, beautiful.
>>
>>53596759
While we ploraxians are staunch materialists, we would not take such a bold step. We welcome you into the federation.
>>
>>53596759
That is great news,Shazerad!Uploading consciousness is no small feat. So,are you going to help John show robots the "light" as he calls it,or will you all just cultivate and be Gardeners of the Galaxy?

Knights have been the staple of our war machine since we first mounted the great beasts. Shield capcitators have given them capabilitys to survive the modern battlefield.

We have a museum in Mexe with many of the old aircraft, and uniforms of soldiers who fought in the Great War.
>>
>>53596759
Thanks for coming.I got your portrait for the draw thread.I wish you could make robots unique in Stellaris, but it looks good nonetheless.
>>
>>53596834
I see. So,how long do your people live, anyways?I'm asking because if you live long enough, you might still have veterans of that war.

Yss live for a considerable amount of time, almost 300 years. We are a relatively long race, but we cherish our mortality. There are those from the war who are still, around to this day, many are very old now, but we cherish the wisdom of such ancient soldiers. Here is a helmet worn by Mexe infantry during the war, my father gave it to me.

The first step in becoming Infinite and freeing yourselves from the shackles of causality.

There may be hope for this plane after all.

>>53596765
Behold these Wastes to us, if that is all you have to prevent your fate.
>>
>>53596962
Really?I'm surprised you haven't heard of it.It is a constant across all planes.Regardless,I'll send over a bioship to take you there.
>>
>>53596990
Infinitely sized and with no sense of time, the Carnem Wastes has all the eldritch and insanity causing abominations you could ever need.
>>
>>53596990
I am beyond multiversal constant. We are the cosmic predator. Its purpose is to cull the weak and exalt the mighty, as a slave to entropy and causality as you are so is the Carmine Plane a servant to power, absolute.

Survival of the fittest, the evolution of reality, of the Ür.
>>
>>53596957
It reminds me of helmets in the Great War in 1914.300 years is pretty long, that's enough to see your grandchildren's grandchildren.
>>
>>53597085
Well, anyways it doesn't have entropy, nor does it have aging,at least most of the time.No suns, just Organs, and no factorys, just Great Forges. This place will literally never go.
>>
>>53597109
Plus it runs on survival of the fittest for the most part.Hey,when you're done visiting the Wastes, could I come over to your Carmine Plane?Seems neat.
>>
>>53597089
It is quite long I admit. I believe I'm seeing similarities between our great wars.

I checked around for bipedal synthetic portraits that weren't from Stellaris and all of them are absurdly militarized, which isn't the look I was going for with this race at all.

>>53596824
We are not warriors, our people have never considered themselves proud of militarism. We possess fleets yes, and our keen understanding of organics have perhaps optimized our designs for terrestrial warfare, but carry the "light" to others is simply not our prerogative. Ours is the production of food, the cultivation of worlds and the flourishing of life everywhere. Though, perhaps... It is not yet time to discuss our vision of the future, but with our new forms and the boundless availability of resources in our region of the galaxy, I believe our race shall work Miracles upon the galaxy, structures of unfathomable sizes orbiting stars.

>>53596802
And we accept your adulation, Representative Inkito. Perhaps one of these days you shall walk upon one of our Garden Worlds, and see what fruits our new figures have wrought.
>>
>>53597203
I like the idea of a robotic peaceful race. It's like Phss and John merged, and it's pretty cool.I do not mean to suggest that you go to war.I am just asking if you were going to help with John's initiative of enlightening robots.Either way,I cannot wait to see your works.
>>
>>53597165
Yes.Mine was due to imperialism and nationalism, with a healthy dose of stupidity. The trenchs were grueling, and I honestly don't know how I survived until the end of the war.Either way,I don't think about mine much, because ever since 1921 I was launched to the Carnem Wastes, and now I doubt you could consider me a true human given my use of this surrogate body.Your war sounds more honorable, but no less brutal. The Great War I was in was horrible and useless, but it brought new understanding, and steeled me when my experiments brought me to the Wastes.
>>
>>53597109
Then I care not. We hunger for the achievements of mortals, their failure and splendour. The natural ebb and flow of this world is not its to judge.

The interiority of the Carmine Plane will rend your mind, for within its bowels are the corpses of infinite realities, monuments to their inferiority, their weakness, their unoriginality, their blandness. The Carmine Plane is exalted by their weakness, its hunger slake.

I return to realspace to feed once more.
>>
>>53597302
Honor existed in our war true, but it was extremely unnatural for us. Fighting a stagnant war? Cavalry being restricted? And the endless rains from the artillery, the battlefield became a blasted land of mud, water and craters, with a healthy amount of corpses. It saw the first major use of jnfstry armed with bold action rifles ever, with cavalry only returning near the end.
>>
>>53597318
Ok.I mean,I doubt my mind would be tended given where I live, but if you don't want people going into your house that's cool.Want some coffee?
>>
>>53597372
I can sympathize,as my War was extemely similar.Cavalry never returned, though. We ruined that for ourselves.
>>
>>53597447
Coffee?
>>
>>53597477
>He offers a cup filled with a strange smelling liquid, light brown in color.

Yeah, coffee.I got some from a good friend of mine,Baron Taxla. If you want,we could sit down and have a chat. This Carmine plane sounds real interesting, especially how it consumes other planes. So,how's your day been going?
>>
>>53597470
Cavalry has been the most integral part of our culture since we have mastered fire. I think our nobility and culture survived that war, and was made stronger for it. I believe humans have a word for it, feudal is it?
>>
>>53597593
Yes,a feudal system.I can admire making it work despite the war preceding it.Most feudal systems don't survive Great Wars, and break up and dissolve. How many noble houses do you have?
>>
>>53597637
Too many to count. There's so many everywhere on Yss, though a lot of them live in the major cities now. Many were also wiped out during the Great War. Many of our colonies also have their own noble houses.
>>
>>53597674
Wait, then how do you determine who's Duke? Are colony world allowed to help decide.
>>
>>53597773
The Duke is Rok, which is a hereditary. Our colonies are ruled by their own Lord-Barons, Yss is ruled by the Grand Baron, both sets of titles are hereditary.
>>
>>53597513
>The spectre takes the coffee, and as it comes into contact with the object it atomizes at its spectral touch, the thin mist of coffee atoms swirling into the gaping void filled maw of the skeleton

>>
>>53598030

What a swell guy.
>>
>>53597843

>>
>>53598156
The Duke controls international and military affairs, national affair and internal security are dealt by the worlds respective rulers. The Duke does however directly control Rok colonies like High Roost.
>>
>>53598212
Semis like a good system. No corruption I'd hope.
Well,I'm going to look around the Federation area for a bit.I'll be back.
