According to the lore, Khorne has the most follower of all the gods. No other Chaos God can match the number of swords wielded in his service or the number of legions that he commands.

So the question here is why does the creed of Khorne attracts more followers than the creeds of other gods? Shouldn't Slaanesh's focus on relief and pleasure be more attractive to those living in a grimdark universe with little comfort or hope?
