What are some /tg/ As Fuck bands/songs/albums?
I think Dragon Slayer by Dream Evil would count, as would everything by Gloryhammer.
Sabaton is a very /k/ish band, but /k/ and /tg/ have a lot of overlap, especially when it comes to the Medieval and Renaissance eras.
Powerwolf I feel is also pretty /tg/, due to the Werewolfs/Vampires + Crusades schtick.

Blind Guardian you literal mongoloid.
Iron Savior.
Alestorm.
No albums; literally everything they do you ninny.
Demons & Wizards has Fiddler on the Green and Crimson King, both with stuff themed off of /tg/ material.
Slough Feg has that Traveller album.

Ensiferum is /tg/ incarnate. Amon Amarth is great too if you ignore contrarian hipster faggots who can't enjoy anything thats popular.

I just realized how badly I want to hear a Drizzt tribute by Blind Guardian.
>>53417214
I like Blind Guardian a lot but Power and Fantasy Metal are my guilty pleasures. I'm also one of those people who never listen to music, usually.
Alestorm is all about Pirates, which is /tg/ as fuck if you think about it from a Swashbuckler angle.
Manowar is all about buff Vikings and shit, though I'm not as big a fan of them as I used to be.
Dark Moor also feels relevant to mention.
Any instrumental recommendations?

Falconer for sure, especially the it songs mindtraveller and lord of the blacksmiths.
A lot of powermetal bands incorporate fantasy elements.
German band Schandmaul.
Their lyrics are in German but they have a lot of medieval themed songs. The song below is about Siegfried the dragonslayer

>Trash.
Maybe a bit harsh, but as an Iron Maiden fan, I have to agree that it was a very disappointing album, at the very least.

Tuatara is good for a kind of haunting but jazzy feel. Breaking the Ethers and Cinemathique are probably their best albums.

Dawson's Christian probably gets the most love around here, but 90% of that album is tg to it's core, including a song that is heavily reflected in the filk tg wrote
DARK AMBIENT
Dark ambient is made in 4 ways
A)Soundtrack to a horror movie
B)The field recording of a horror movie
C)A + B
D)Just a wierd song
And if you want to be specific:
E)A with minimalistic B
F)B With minimalistic A
Also artists usually try to fit on those themes
Average dark ambient
Themes:All kinds of themes
Artist: Lustmord
Type: A, D, C and E
Drone Ambient
Themes: Mistery, "something is going to happen but I dont know why/what"
Artists: Oophoi
Types:A and D
Other: Has drone music influences.
Black Ambient
Theme: Black metal themes
Types: D
Other: Has black metal influences
Death Ambient
Themes: Monsters, apocalipse
Types:B and F
Other: Here, the sounds of the stuff happening is in your face.
Deep Ambient
Themes: Caves, top of amoutain, lost somewhere
Artist:Amon
Type: B and D
Other Very minimalistic, sometimes windy stuff
Ritual Ambient
Types: All
Theme:Ritual or meditative stuff
Artists: Endvra
Other: traditional Folk influences, sometimes new age influences,....
There is also military ambient and neoclassical ambient, but I am not putting them here, because most of the time those names are wrongly used to stuff that is not dark ambient, on the case of military ambient they use it for martial industrial and on the case of neoclassical ambient most of the time they use for neoclassical darkwave.
Some guys split into more stuff, but the other stuff they name its basically the same stuff posted here (most of them would fit in average dark ambient type)
