That land speeder with it's open cockpit/seating is hilariously dumb and ugly.

The infamous jumpsuit armor only makes sense in the context of being a field stopgap/jury rig made by tech Marines owing to a lack of real Terminator armor, which was already the midpoint between a marine and a dreadnought, hence its real name - Tactical Dreadnought armor. Same goes for that bizzard ass dreadknight thing the Grey's have.

My assessment as well. Both the stormhawk and the storm talon fill a niche as a zippy aerial gunship that can provide heavy fire support. They're basically space Marines air cav, while land speeder are scout craft meant for harassing and reconnaissance, and thunder Hawks are air transport and gunships.

Storm(Hawks/talons) fly from hotspot to hotspot providing Brrrrrtttt and tsewtsew, and the hawk specifically can provide air superiority and sky clearance.. Thunder Hawks clear landing space and insert Marines before pulling back or providing dedicated close air support to a squad.

Speeders and Assault Bikes imo should be piloted by Scout Marines and used for recon and harassment, attack bikes for shoot n scoot.

They need a new heavier armored type of attack bike with partial frontal coverage for fast assault cavalry imo, to fulfill the white scars out there. Full armored Marines should pilot these

I'd also love to see some sort of space Marines "technical", an open truck with a close support weapon similar to an Ork trukk. Why? So Assault Marines can jump directly out of it after riding into battle, assaulting directly without having to disembark

Centurions make sense only as an ad-hoc replacement for Terminators in chapters or regiments that can't get or risk them, or for non space Marines forces who shouldn't have Terminator armor anyway.

I think this would be fine if it didn't have the pintle mount right on the front. Get rid of that, or shift him back to the normal spot on a land speeder, and I think it works pretty well as an upsized version with extra engines to carry bigger guns.

Centurions would've made sense if they were an upgrade for Assault and Devastator Marines instead of their own units. That's one.

Two, they would've been much more efficient if they had certain differences to them in function apart of having different loadouts (like Assault Centurions not having Slow and Purposeful, but cannot Sweeping Advance, while Devastator Centurions should have all their current weapons along with all other Devastator guns).

This way they'd make sense.

At least each of the mainline companies should have at least one or two squads of both Assault and Devastator Marines that know how to use the suits.

Hell, a lot of Space Marine fluff should be rewritten to show the whole super-soldier thing more prominently in how much of a jack-of-all they are.

Hell, the Alpha Legion did it perfectly with being extremely versatile, while the Iron Snakes are perfect at this since they have 10 companies that include an equal number of veterans, regulars and initiates with each squad having their own specialists.
