It's disturbing enough when you have a big skeleton making loud weepy sounds behind you as you're trying to say your vows, but I think seeing him drunk at the party was even worse.

It depends. Usually you acquire them from enemies. In the first game you kill them. In the second you have the option to kill them or negotiate with them for chances of better drops. In the third and fourth it's back to killing them. And in the fifth you only get them from negotiating with enemies. In general, the ones you get in the wild (so to speak) are weaker than the ones you can get from fusing.

Things… went bad. Real bad here. The end of the world is never pretty but there is something about being right in the heart of it as society collapses. Even good people can do bad things when they are scared.

We were part of a sleeper cell specifically for such a situation where all hell broke lose, society collapsed and the cops and firefighters were over run.

That was the plan anyways but the first string had all died or gone MIA, so we were called up. We weren’t exactly given a ton of equipment. Then things got even worse when the helicopter that was to take us to our headquarters exploded.

So understaffed, under armed and nearly leaderless it was us against the city which was tearing itself apart and the virus which was the looming threat.

We stalked through the city like shadows plucking up the people we needed and subduing those who were causing problems. My companions were a bit more lethal but I preferred to leave people alive. Most were likely just desperate.

We eventually found the guy responsible who was dead and found out one of our own had turned on us and was intending to carry on the nutjobs plan. However by then Rick and Sans had already cured the virus and were distributing the cure. He went nuts when he found out we hard a cure, he wound up killing himself.

I'll give the update, then. A pretty substantial amount of the jump has been completed by my partner in this,so for something remotely jumpable I'd just need to go fill in what's left.

The only things needed are locations, items, and drawbacks. Origins and perks are already completed to a great degree. If this thing gets made, whatever, but I'm gonna get the doc on hand finished regardless.

They're basically the same thing usage-wise, but Stands are an extension of the soul and tend to have pretty strange, esoteric abilities with some being more specialized towards physical combat, and Personas are literally the persona you use in your day to day life and tend to use things like elemental magic, and hand to hand combat using either the body and/or weapons.

You mentioned you had Sting, so even just a True Strike would help. But let's assume you want maximum reliability:

Mindblank, Scry (endbringer of your choice), Ghostform and Greater Invisibility, Maximised Timestop, Greater Teleport (to that endbringer), drop touch-activated trap of Maximised Irresistible Dance above endbringer, Transdimensional Sphere Of Ultimate Destruction (adjacent to endbringer), order sphere to attack endbringer, Widened+Sculpted Forcecage (endbringers tend to be big and you want to fit in the trap and sphere as well; you may need to use multiple Forcewalls instead or research a custom variant), Dimensional Lock, wait.

Then you get to watch a dancing Endbringer trapped inside an invisible box get Pacman'd to death by a 2ft diameter ping-pong ball of nothingness on crack, at least until you run up against one that can (figure out it needs to) disintegrate the forcecage (without relying on dimensional effects to do so).

Incidentally this combo works for a lot of other stuff, too.
