Are you completely against the idea of playing online? If not head over to the gamefinder thread or go to roll20.net and see if that interests you. Otherwise, see if you can find a local gaming shop that is advertising for a D&D group.

Find a group through one of the Gamefinder threads or Roll20.net. Also, D&D is trash. Look at other RPGs before commiting to D&D.

Even if you do somehow find someone to play with here they will flake on you after and will not have the patience for you to learn.

I wouldn't be too pessimistic anon. It's not easy to find a good game through /tg/ or Roll20, but I've found a group that I've been playing with for over a year now on /tg/ and have gotten in quite a few other games too. It's not like you'll do much better by looking for a game irl. You'll avoid certain types of people, but when it comes to just simply finding a consistent group, your chances are about the same.
