Demiplane is vast savanna scattered with mountains, crawling with monsters and eldritch abominations. Plane affinity so that we can train various animals as pets for hunting and guarding things. Have village of diverse and exotic amazons that have culture obsessed with hunting and slaying monsters, kind of like Norn in GW except amazons and not shapeshifters. They'd hunt giant serpents that hide under the sand, nomadic centaurs, and giant carnivorous birds that live on top of mountains. Amazons live as tribe that shares everything and are very cooperative for survival. Forging strong weapons and training hunting pets are important to them. I live in tower and am leader of the amazons because of powerful elemental magic that is strongest close to my tower and because I can turn into a dragon to fight off biggest monsters. Take form change so I can be tall, strong amazon. Occasionally travel to earth when things are calm to check how everything is back home.

It's in the conceptual stages at the moment, but someone mentioned the other day that all the zombie survival CYOAs only had survival chances of like 70% at max.

I decided to make one where you could get 100% survival, but at the cost of comfort. So basically all the choices are between comfort/survival, possibly with a few other factors. Haven't decided on a size yet, but I do want to steal the same kind of setup the zombie survival house CYOA had.

I've never made a CYOA before, but I'm trying my hand at making an MTG planeswalker CYOA. Pick one, two, or three colors. Each one starts out with the basics associated with the color, and you can spend points to buff up specific aspects of each color. Pick your race and home plane, each with special abilities/quirks. Then there are some general abilities, drawbacks, etc.

Everyone just dumps CYOAs, I'm gonna write way too many words about one.

Architect: Interesting but it suffers from a kinda critical flaw. You don't get a pocket dimension to hide in and you don't have any personal power other than Creation. So if you create your personal comfy land, there's not much preventing someone stealing it. And while you probably can drop a mountain on them, you are kinda defenseless against someone shooting you in the head from half mile away.
Incidentally, creating sinkholes, tsunamis and why not split continent with chain of volcanoes will be doable with this, so if you want destructive power, this one has it in spades. You can also probably trivially raise precious minerals from core so you wouldn't be lacking in money either. Overall, it's too easy to take your shit, ELON'S SPACESHIP TIER.

Seeker: You a wizzard now. Define what elemental manipulation means for you. Depending what you think it can do, this could potentially replicate the effects of all other books. WIZARD TIER.

Healer: Happy warm tummy feels for everyone. If you want to save the world, you are probably better off taking Architect and solving global issues. Healing someone is nice but even if you cured literally everyone on earth, you would basically just be solving personal issues. You could make a lot of money doing it tho if that's your thing. I guess the true power depends on what you consider a disease. Could potentially cure autism and improve posting, SUPPORT PLAYER TIER.

Here's the original version of page 2. Basically, I noticed nobody was taking the first class in St. Flare and realized that its existence was kind of redundant. So I decided to lean harder into the theme that St. Flare was the traditional adventuring style/monster hunting school by replacing it with blue magic.

Hero Academy was like my third cyoa so there was a lot of stuff I honestly didn't even consider. A changelog is one of these things. Hopefully, things like this won't be an issue with future projects. Sorry if this caused you any grief.

Despite their great personal strength, they'll probably prefer to use Abyssal illusions, information gathering through the Demon of Truth, skills with Shadowcraft and superb Charisma and Command wherever possible to make their lives easier and gather respect. They aren't an expert with potions, but have the basic alchemical skills to make a few useful ones where needed.

I imagine that Dhaihana will be more of a companion mentor than a friend, although the Fulcrum will eagerly soak up what she teaches of countermagic. In many ways she'll be the good counterpart to Risidan, which is bad because Risidan is much more charismatic.

Sequaray, the Void Shard and Svana will be the Fulcrum's actual close friends, and good influences to counter Risidan's manipulation. Their suspicion will be what makes it possible for the Fulcrum to overcome the body thief.

As powerful as Risidan is (and I think that his preparations will certainly render him more potent than my character in single combat despite me probably outclassing him in power), I think that Dhaihana's countermagic should be enough to give the other companions and my Fulcrum a chance to beat him. I'd have the Void Shard stay away in the final confrontation, so that I can use the Lore of Heavens to bend fate towards my victory for the only time. Whilst Dhaihana focuses on suppressing his dark magic, my character will capitalise on Risidan's lack of physical ability to cut him down as quickly as possible, spilling his blood onto the Demon of Truth so that I can work out what other plans and contingencies for resurrection he made. Overall I think I have a good chance of being the protege to finally overcome the body stealer, but through the grace of my allies rather than the hubris of thinking the Fulcrum a direct equal to Risidan. Once that's all over, the Fulcrum will continue his adventurers a wiser and more prudent man with his four remaining companions, probably settling down eventually with Svana.

A noble whose mother hates her for the actions of her dead disgraced father who was revealed to be a demon worshiper and killed shortly after Alex was born.

Her mother teaches magic at Lunestier and that is the main reason Alex ran away to Ej Har with help from her uncle Maximillian. Ej Har is a way to escape from her mother's influence and avoid being murdered by her after all she did try it before when Alex was 12.

Raised to be a sorceress she is extremely talented and skilled in the magical arts. At Ej Har she discovered to have talent for Blood Magic and the Unholy Arts. The fact that she appears to be blessed by the Blood God suggests that her father might have done something to her as an infant.

Making real friends for the first time has really changed Alex's outlook on life. She is deeply loyal to them.

All Alex cares about during the festivals is having fun. Whether by fighting both monsters and other students or by indulging in the Basilisk Den. She hopes that she'll be able to destroy the Lunestir competition as a big fuck you to her mother.

Personality wise she has a bead habit of acting slightly smug and arrogant because of her skill and ability and prefers to settle things through fighting. When in combat she becomes rather bloodthirsty. She also has a bad habit of sleeping around with attractive girls.

While she despises her mother and hopes to one day kill her whether or not she would actually do it is uncertain. Being with her friends is more important and every day pushes her past behind little by little.
