For the Quran, Genies are made by smokeless fire while humans (as in the bible) from the earth.
We once coexisted but because of the misbehaviour, djinni are now confined in a sort of parallel world. They can see us, we cannot (that is, they can maybe see you fapping to furry porn, anon).

When Jesus will come back to judge people, he will judge jinni too because there will be the ones judged as good, and those that misbehaved as with humans.

D&D has a strong 4 elements theme and added other legends to have the 4 genies. Note that only Djinni and Efreeti are OGL - Paizo had to make up for different names for the other 2 elements.

Jesus is quite actually revered in Islam, it's more "Christian didn't get Jesus" than"fuck Jesus".
More than than, it seems that earliest Islam was pretty much about Jesus, Muhammad only becoming the main go... prophet only after his death.
