Font of Healing, primarily focusing on enhancements rather than restoration, and hopefully entrenching the school as something not to be messed with.

Divination gives the knowledge to go with the ability - remotely reading unprotected spellbooks, learning more mundane skills easily, and even shopping around for other bloodlines. In lieu of a specific "wizard" lineage (or other way to subvert the aptitude restrictions), I'll mostly dabble in Abjuration as a way to protect against anything raw ability can't.

Eventually, I'll probably willingly join whichever bloodline isn't completely crazy (and has good bonuses to double-dip in), and offer my services in exchange for not getting dragged into their turf wars.

After having everyone I know and love turned into mindless rotting meat bags, I'd be understandably pissed.
Not that I have any way to stop the System, but still, I can't help being a little angry about the whole situation.

I live in a small town with every kind of military base except a Navy port, so I should be fine on mundane loot.
I'll start my corralling my family into a walk in freezer, and set my annoying neighbors to looting the close by army base. I'll just have to hope none of the other town crazies got picked by the System.
After grinding XP by herding the former townsfolk into keeping the lights on, I'll Ghost my loved ones, if I can.

Raiding dungeons will involve rigging heavily armed and armored zombies with Machine Interfaced cameras and Mutitasking them extremely explicit instructions on where to shoot and set explosives.
Eventually I'll drag enough alien corpses out of the dungeons that I can build mecha zombies out of them. Or maybe zombie mecha?

Future's looking stinky. I should probably ask the neighbors if they can find a gas mask while they're out shopping...

The ability to individually focus on manipulating my appendages makes them infinitely more deadly, and my power will grow exponentially with every kill.

I have no need for external weapons, nor bulky power armor. A stealth suit to let me ambush those who enter my parlor, and a shield to protect me from cowardly magic users, are all I need.

I will form no parties, make no alliances. Humanity is a small fish in an exceptionally large pond. When the second wave strikes, I will select a dungeon to invade, and replace the boss, taking his item and leaving the spawner intact. Would-be heroes will enter the dungeon focused on the spawner, and I will stab them in the back, feeding on the naive and foolhardy.

I do not trust the Singular Industries faction, so I will ally myself with Flechette. Underlings would only slow me down, so the elite gear and allies will be satisfactory.

Strategy:

H'okay. I'm Pond Scum. I decided to start with no weapons or combat abilities, and I'm pretty sure the only thing I can trade at level 1 is experience. Even worse, I'm starting out in a race against time. I start with a base of sorts, but that power module will only last so long.

The good news is I don't *need* to buy guns 'cause I can just loot them because AMERICA FUCK YEAH! It's like the rest of the world doesn't take zombie apocalypses seriously or something. As for melee weapons, I've got a perfectly good folding chair so I'll be okay to start out until I can loot 'n shoot.

However, just because time is of the essence doesn't mean I need to rush. After all, Pond Scum is all about managing resources. There's bound to be other players near my location, and odds are at least one of them didn't take Sleepless. These people are my prey, so to speak.

Early on, I can't do too much. However, I can offer them a safe haven to sleep in for the early game. I'll charge either money, experience, or the combat items I didn't buy. Anything helps.

However, if none of them trust me/all of them have sleepless/I really am alone out here, then there's one final gambit: I have enough credits left to buy two personal messages, and I've got the database so I can figure out who to call. If I have to resort to that, I'll have to lower my prices substantially to be fair, but I'm pretty sure I can work out some sort of mutually beneficial agreement.

I work out deals until my power runs out, then I go out and kill zombies. Once I level up enough to really start trading, I buy the generator and temporarily trade my perks to people in exchange for what I need.

Okay, this is a much stronger starting position. Make bombs for carpetbombing, and then joust the surviving zombies. Save up enough money to buy utilities like the BIP, the Player Database, the Communicator, and eventually the Recon Droid. Also energy weapons.

After that's done, slowly set up a base at my local library and learn some books. If I can learn how to create Fungal Blood and Power Modules, I'll be indispensable.

Eventually, I need to ally with a Necromancer and a Pond Scum for SCIENCE!
