>A player wants his character to be 'patient zero' for a plague that could destroy the world
>>52506274
Let him, but make his character quickly deteriorate and become bedridden. Off him after like a week, then have him make a new character.
>>52506327
Also he gets quarantined and incinerated. Plague averted!
>>52506274
>tell him no
Easy peasy
>>52506274
Alright. He's simply a carrier and suffers no ill effects nor benefits from the plague, which lies dormant until his death and can only be transmitted through the direct consumption of his necrotic flesh. People who eat his dead flesh will suffer internal organ failure in 48 hours with no possible cure. It won't spread in any way other than eating his body or the bodies of those who have died, but in theory if everyone decided to be cannibals for no reason it would destroy the world.

he wears a containment suit at all times
reverse quarian

What system, what's the campaign like? Entirely valid plan and motivation in a world-destroying evil game.

He's trying to play a rookie cleric that just wants to heal people and make them smile.
Would be 10\10 endgame for a Nurgle Cultist, but he's gotta work for it.

So like, are the guys fighting him contractually obligated to stand still while he does his lengthy transformation sequence or?
>>52507501
He may or may not have just told the protagonist that, as a matter of fact, infecting himself was part of his plan, and he was crashing this game with no survivors.
>>52507452
Wait, so does he want to save people, or kill them all? Which is it?
>>52507552
IC, to save people. But OoC, he wants the character to be the patient zero.

Kamen Rider has a episode where they play a tabletop game...as Kamen Riders?
>>52507723
Just a psycho game dev.

Okay, so this is just a plot that a player is interested in OOC. In that case it's up to you whether you take it or leave it. If you take it, you may want to eventually have similarly interesting plots revolve around the other players, for the sake of symmetry.

No, they had a series where everyone used belt-mounted video game consoles to transform and inserted different cartridges to switch combat forms.
