Usually those types (if not turbo autistic furries) that bother with it. Seen some kickstarters with "$10k and get your own character in!" and it was some guy with a part-time job living with his parents and he paid for it all right out of pocket. Of course it was so he could add his fursona and jack off to it most likely.

Outside of ITS, are doctors worth it?

>3 Turn game, need to spend at least one order to reach the guy, another to revive. Might need to spend a Command Token (Or two) if you fuck up the roll
>2 Orders that could be spent doing meaningful things

Also, is there no limit to how many Forward Observers you can take? For example, an AVA Total Unit like Keisotsu, why not take all Forward Observers? Same load out, specialist.
>>
>>52481550
Can field a list of 20 FOs if you got the points if you want.

Also doctors depend on mission and what you're bringing. Coming from Haqqislam I take doctors regardless, but something having a dude to backup your workhorse is nice. Al Fasid knocked out? Pop him with some doctor love and get him back to shooting.

Some missions and a hidden objective want a doctor or paramedic. Doctors are more likely to succeed than a paramedic since they use their own WIP so Experimental Drug is easier to achieve. Missions like Supplies just give a bonus to opening the tech coffins if a doc/para, but sometimes you really need that +3.

Otherwise, again coming from Haqq, couple of my doctor options are good specialists for getting around. Tuareg doctors, not only rolling on 18s to heal, have infiltration and TO camo and Jannisary Ackbar Doctors can heal multiwound guys to full on top of having some armor and body to shrug off some fire and push a button.

Is this right?

Good Guy throws smoke
Good Guy spends another order to move into the said smoke around a corner
Good guy has martial arts
There is a bad guy 4" away.
Good guy wants to throw a smoke grenade that clips the bad guy, so it covers any advance and he won't get shot before he beats him with his CC weapon. Is this right?

Good guy makes a PHY-6 roll (Might end up -3 if range is right). It's -6 because he cannot see out of the smoke himself and it's speculative. It's also an entire order to do so.
The Bad Guy has two options. Since the template is clipping him, he can make a Dodge - 3 roll or he can just try to shoot the guy throwing a grenade at a -6 (He can see the guy through the smoke since technically the guy is making an attack)

Right?
>>
>>52491863
Yup
>>
>>52491863
Good guy should not clip bad guy with the smoke for that reason. Bad guy can F2F and cause the smoke to fail. Good guy should just make sure his base will clip the smoke, he'll be out of sight the whole way, and stealth will make it so the enemy can only react with CC skills or Dodge.

Guy can choose to dodge. However, smoke is targetless and not targeting the badguy so the ARO can't be shoot.

If it was a regular grenade which has to target the badguy he could shoot back, this is not the case.

In all honesty, you are better off tossing the smoke so it doesn't touch the badguy. As long as the Good Guy is still touching the smoke, he is in smoke and thus cannot be seen.

So how exactly does an O Yoroi work?
>>
>>52494919
It's mostly a generic heavy TAG on the cheap side with a mediocre primary weapon and only 7ARM, but comes with crazykoalas. It's also got some random CC crap it'll probably never use unless your opponent somehow sneaks something into CC past the flamethrower and koalas.
>>
>>52494919
Actively it functions similar to a normal one, but with stealth for better mobility. Keep it in the midfield to get proper use out of those crazykoalas.
>>
Question, should I get some Zond bots for my Clockmaker? A 3 point model, it might be useful as an extra order, but beyond that I cannot see how.
>>
>>52495106
Units with G: Servant do not provide an order. Their purpose is to extend the range of your doctor or engineer so they don't need to risk running across the board themselves, or so they can run towards a patient and an objective at the same time.
>>
>>52495133
Ah, thanks for that. I guess ill think about them then, but for now they are not a priority, so I will proxy a spare Fastpanda until they are sold separately.
I dont want to buy the support pack, then Clockmaker looks terrible, and all I want from it is a Zond.
>>
Can perimeter weapons trigger mines and perimeter weapons?
>>
>>52495103
I thought TAGs couldnt use stealth?

Also when are AROs triggered, during movement or after movement?

Is stealth only useful if I'm moving into melee?
>>
>>52495183
>Also when are AROs triggered, during movement or after movement?
After each skill, and all are resolved simultaneously.
E.g. if you move a guy so that an enemy sees him, but another enemy has his back turned, the guy who sees him gets an ARO. If you then decide to move into the back-turned guy's ZoC, he gets an ARO then (Change Facing).
>>
>>52492453
Wait.

I thought AROs were triggered at the expenditure of an order---not targeting.

I also thought if you make any kind of attack roll from within or behind smoke, enemies can now see you and ARO.

If that's the case, wouldn't a guy throwing smoke grenades from within smoke provoke an ARO regardless if his template touches the bad guy?
>>
>>52495183
>Also when are AROs triggered, during movement or after movement?

During movement.

Active player declares skill

Check for AROs

Declare second skill if first skill was short skill

Check if new models can ARO
>>
>>52495555
So say my model comes around a corner on his mobement then declares a BS attack on the enemy. Would the enemy have one or two AROs?
>>
>>52495694
Just one. Models must declare an ARO during the first activation in the order that entitles them to one (unless the active trooper is a marker, different kettle of fish).

Taking the sequence above.

You spend an order, choosing your guy at the corner, and declare move as the first short skill.

You move your guy.

You and the enemy check to see if any enemy troopers get to ARO (most often if he enters their line of fire).

For the sake of example one does. Your enemy chooses BS attack as his ARO.

For your second short skill, you declare BS attack.

No new models who didn't previously have an ARO see you, because you didn't move, so there is no new AROs.

There is now a face to face roll between you and your enemy's BS attacks.
>>
Anyone have a good suggestion for unique narrative missions or campaigns? I've tried finding Campaign Paradiso online but can't, however I've read it has good campaign rules.
>>
>>52495857
And what Stealth does is make it so if your final destination is out of LOS you dont trigger AROs while moving?

Is this how people sneak the O Yoroi around or is there something more?
>>
>>52495887
A very restricted set of AROs, namely change facing and hacking, can be taken without line of site, provided the active model is in the Zone of control (8 inches) of the enemy wishing to ARO. Stealth means simply being in 8 inches is not enough, the O yoroi has to do something loud.
>>
>>52495936
line of sight*
>>
>>52495887
Stealth just means you can move through an enemy Zone of Control without triggering ARO as long as you stay out of LOS and don't shoot at them.

I'm not sure where you're getting this "sneaky O-Yoroi" thing from, it's technically got stealth but the thing is huge, has huge guns, and no special deployment or movement shenanigans. If it somehow ends up behind an enemy figure it's not going to waste time being sneaky, it'll just blow his brains out.
>>
>>52495956
Why does the OY have stealth, anyway?
>>
>>52495968
Because he has Martial Arts, and it's a package deal.
>>
>>52495956
>The real treasure is using the O-Yoroi’s 6-4 move and Stealth to sneak up on the enemy backline

I always thought 1d4chan was esited by /tg/
>>
>>52495887
>Is this how people sneak the O Yoroi around or is there something more?
You can pass through repeater fields and as long as you stay out of sight of enemy Hackers you can't get ARO-hacked, that's a pretty big deal
>>
>>52496021
Sneaking past enemy backline is not as important as sneaking past Hackers as a TAG. If they can't react, they can't hack you.

As per the rules of Zero visibility zones:

> Inside a Zero Visibility Zone, troopers can only declare Skills that do not require LoF or that require them to be in base to base contact with their target.

> Any trooper who is the target of a BS Attack into or out of a Zero Visibility Zone, or whose LoF traverses a Zero Visibility Zone, may respond to the attacker even without LoF, provided the trooper is facing the attacker.

> However, without a clear LoF to his target, the trooper's ARO (or second Short Skill of his Order in Active Turn) options are reduced to BS Attack with a -6 MOD or Dodge without the MOD.

You have to be the target of a BS attack to enable you to shoot across a zero vis zone without MSV2+.

So unless they have MSV2+ they cannot shoot you if you are tossing from within smoke because smoke is targetless. They can declare change facing or any other ARO that doesn't require LOF, but not shoot.

Do Yu Jing and PanO have redeeming qualities, besides not wanting to end humanity?
I don't mind playing baddies, but I gather that human factions are supposed to be shades of grey and can't find their redeeming qualities in the scraps of lore floating about.
>>
>>52491863
>There is a bad guy 4" away

the correct solution is probably, move to the edge of the smoke, not using stealth so that the bad guy is forced to declare a change facing ARO or lose his ARO, then just walk out of the smoke into melee.
>>
>>52506248
Nah it's all pretty nihilistic and GoT-lite about the morals and ethics of characters and factions
>>
>>52496561
>You can pass through repeater fields and as long as you stay out of sight of enemy Hackers you can't get ARO-hacked, that's a pretty big deal

Keep in mind if the enemy has a core link with a hacker in it, your stealth is nullified by his SSL2, and if you declare a reset against that hacker, you will break your stealth allowing all other enemy hackers to hack you.

>>
>>52506248
I've been reading quite a bit on the factions lately and PanO has this really radical PanOpticon thing going on with Mayanet, which is also a clever play on words. Cheers to CB on that. Everybody in the society is basically livestreaming their lives 24/7, so it's like a constant agora society. It's probably a pretty nice life for the billions and billions of normal people in their society.
>>
>>52506248
They treat most of their people well. Standards of living are rivalled only by O12.
>>
>>52506248
>>52506354

It's kind of a consequence of the battle justifications, being deniable shifty black ops shit doing shifty deeds, but I wouldn't go so far as saying it's GoT-lite - that'd require every character being a raging, unlikeable child rapist war criminal. The closest you get to that are Desperadoes and other criminal biker units hired by factions, and even then, they're stated to have an inch of honor, unlike the people they're usually hired to fight against (Desperadoes fight ferals and raiding not-Native tribes and cannibals).

>>
>>52506419

>>52506432
This. Yu Jing's government (and PanO's, to a lesser extent, but given they're also partially made of hypercorps and partially made out of Christian/Catholic religious governments and groups that fight each other, still) may be more censorial and anti-dissent like Modern Day China (and Korea during the 50s-90s), but there's way less to complain about than in Modern China - clean air, for one, and good tech.

>>52506446
There's also a few interpretations that allow for good vs. evil, gray vs. gray, evil vs. evil, etc. - for example, PanO sectorials fighting can boil down to "hyperkkkrapitali$t group tries to take back stolen tech from ultra-conservative ultra-fundie nutjobs", "PanO government tries to shut down a rogue Catholic splinter group turned cult", and "case of friendly fire from someone getting hacked".

There's a few homebrews about a PanO team defending a celebrity against a Yu Jing hit squad, and iirc the Paradiso garrison is basically good vs. evil.

Getting ready to try Sectorials for the first time.

Thinking on ISS, are Wu Ming a good Core team? For example, as a starter;

Imperial Service
──────────────────────────────────────────────────

10 / 4
CELESTIAL GUARD (Kuang Shi Control Device) Combi Rifle + Light Smoke Grenade Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 13)
KUANG SHI Chain Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 5)
KUANG SHI Chain Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 5)
KUANG SHI Chain Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 5)
KUANG SHI Chain Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 5)
WÚ MÍNG HMG / Pistol, Knife. (2 | 39)
ZHÀNYING Hacker (Hacking Device) Breaker Combi Rifle, D-Charges / Pistol, Electric Pulse. (0.5 | 32)
WÚ MÍNG (Fireteam: Duo) Combi Rifle + E/Mitter, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 32)
WÚ MÍNG (Fireteam: Duo) Combi Rifle + E/Mitter, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 32)
WÚ MÍNG (Fireteam: Duo) Combi Rifle + E/Mitter, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 32)

3 SWC | 200 Points

So thinking the Wu Ming HMG lead my team? That's a BS 16 B5 right? And I can feed it a shit ton of orders in that first combat group. Seems good.
>>
>>52507469
It's always been a thing. The name is new, though.
>>
>>52508141
Yeah, but you're wasting a lot of their potential there. most link teams don't benefit much from spamming one profile, the point is versatility. Get a tinbot and FO in there, or a chain rifle, or even a MULTI rifle+LGL. HRL is good too but doesn't really work with the SWC limitations you have.

They're better at 300 points since you don't need to skimp as much on the rest of the list.
>>
So guys what upcoming sectorials you are really looking forward to and why?
>>
>>52507469
Shaming is good. Shaming is how you preemptively prevent people from doing fucked up shit so it doesn't turn into a bigger problem later.

Ever hear of those occasional cases where someone dies from trying to fuck a horse? Maybe if they had been shamed a bit they'd still be alive.
>>
>>52508441
All of them.

Especially Invincible army. I love HI.
>>
>>52506248
I mean, for the vast majority of people it is still close to a post-scarcity society where people only have to work for something like 12 hours a week to make a living in this high tech world. (At least that's what I think I remember hearing).

In Yu Jing you can place the paradigm of having freedom from being "free" to starve to death like A-teks sometimes do in PanO, you'll generally be taken care of.

In general, I wish CB would just make shit for current profiles (especial those without any models) and more resculpts of old shit before doing new armies. So more than any new sectorial, I'm looking forward to Joan and the Hospitallers, new CHA resculpts, Ayyar, Minutemen, and the Zhanying qt

Besides GM saying "fuck you" is there anything that prevents player from performing Observation test at every opportunity just to gain Momentum from their Acute Senses talent? I know other skills have similar talents, but Observation seems to be kind of skill you can use most often.
>>
>>52510731
Not really, apart from the principle of 'if the roll doesn't matter, don't roll'. Though the GM can set them all at D0, which is an auto-success, and therefore not a test, so you can't generate Momentum on it. That still gives the player the option to take the usual amount of time, roll for it, and run the risk of generating Complications, though.

Players shouldn't really call for rolls themselves, anyway. The GM should do that.

It seems that's another part in which the app is not finished yet.
I guess that for now, to build Felix with the 12 LP system you need to choose: High Personality and Agility, low Brawn and either Coordination or Intelligence, Nomads, Bakunin, Underclass - High Society youth (to reflect him being an expensive sex slave), Radical Biomodification Youth event (or later Exotic Cosmetic Surgery career event) for the cat ears, tail and neoteny, with later choices including Police and Intelligence Operative/Special Forces careers. Signature skills would be Lifestyle and Persuade and he must end up with at least one rank in Enticer.
Felix is an undercover cop/spy very apt at wriggling his way into the underworld thanks to his harmless (and alluring) appearance, as well as inside knowledge of the culture.

Amba would be: high Brawn and Coordination, low Personality or Intelligence, PanO, Acontecimentio, Frontier Life, Military education and later Frontiersman/Military/Special Forces careers. Youth event would include discovering sexual attraction (to small males) and her signature skills would include Resistance and Athletics, with Leverage rank 1 and Irresistible Force or Strong Grip talents. Maybe also Animal Handling if you want to make a "tame felinity" joke. She's the workhorse/tank of the team.

The other anon gave good advice. Here's my 2 cents:
1) as the other anon said, leverage different profiles for the Wu Ming. Take the HRL and at least one FO Wu Ming (tank your way to all your objectives). If you need to save points, the chain rifle/SMG is fine (remember that SMG is AP).
2) ISS has 3 sensor platforms, and if you're not taking a bot you might want to consider taking a Zhangying sensor in the link. The 28pt profile has madtraps as well, but you could possibly skimp down to 23 points there.
3) If you need a regular hacking device, take the Celestial Guard Hacker instead. You'll probably want to combo him with the Rui Shi. If you don't have points/SWC for a Hsien (and you probably don't), the Rui Shi will offer fine MSV2+smoke fire, and will be quite good with remote programs from the Hacker.
4) Consider the Kanren. He offers a fair bit of mid-field shenanigans and safe mine clearing (send holoprojectors out front) and if you don't want the AHD you can give him a sniffer for some sensor combos.

Lets say I ran a link of Djanbazans and through circumstances three of them got unconscious. Would it be legal to use a coordinated order to bring them back up at the same time using regeneration? I don't understand the Combat Dice mechanic from the RPG. It says:
>When rolling [combat dice], ignore any results of three, four, or five. Results of one and two are counted normally, while sixes are referred to as Effects, which trigger certain special abilities.

So if a die roll is 1+2dCombat, I roll two D6s and roll a 2 and a 3. So ignoring the roll means it counts as 0 or do I reroll that? If I rolled a 2 and a 6, would the damage be 9 and an effect or 3 and an effect?

Combi Rifle damage is 1+5 combat dice, it kind of looks like a lot of the time damage will be pitiful.

>>
>>52519059
I think that's right, rolling a 2 and a 3 means a total of 3 damage, rolling a 2 and a 6 means 3 damage plus an effect

Ot seems kinda ass but you gotta remember the game doesn't use an "HP" mechanic but a "wounds" mechanic instead, so 3 damage is pretty devastating, especially when fighting mooks

>>
>>52519731
As I am not a fan of either Hospitallers or Santiago, I make LI links even in MO. With HRL and Paramedic Order Sergeants ain't half bad, though if I have Spec Ops available I may still opt for Fusils, just to save a few points for the heavy knights to use.
>>
>>52519731
They're effective, but often boring. They don't have the staying power to be midfield or dodge templates and using elite links can be a lot more entertaining.
>>
>>52519731
I love my defensive fusi links. They're just very vulnerable to an hmg or something cutting the pie or otherwise just shooting 1 fusi dead. There lies the advantage of something like a haramaki link that can be defensive cheap and durable. Defensive links in general also tend to be very static and not contribute much to your win condition

I generally prefer line infantry links to be purely defensive, but I've started running very aggro Ghulam links. I think the trick of it is to treat them like a TAG or other expensive shooter, foraying out and landing a few good blows but then retreating back to cover for the reactive turn rather than occupying the midfield. Of course, Ghulams have the liberty of being able to defend whatever they hide behind very well with their LSGs.

Line infantry links with one special character/big shooter to take point are in fact the best links in the game and I will fight people on this

I mean, you're basically immortal thanks to the cube. Your society is the richest and most powerful, high power entertainment is pumped in your brain 24/24, and if you're rich you can buy basically whatever you want and receive praise for it. I think there's plenty of space for depravation in the panoceanian society.
>>
>>52522989
Good thing they don't do that then. They ARO normally, the limitation is that only one proxy can ARO at a time.
>>
>>52522871
It's a light HI core link with ML/spitfire/combi pointman options, great ARO in the form of Blitzens and contenders, and terrifying in CC when they get too close or break link.
>>
>>52522877
Puppetswar, Maxmini, and plenty of greenstuff.
>>
>>52482359
Then we assign Squad BNB to the job, and trust me, they are NEVER watching!
>>
>>52522871
It's a the Haramaki core with the required Domaru. All members are armor 3 2 wound infantry with good CC with MA3. The filler profiles are 22-23 points with BS13 pistols, contenders, and blitzen. You can pick up a missile launcher for 33 points and 1.5 SWC. The Domaru are worse shots at BS 12 but the have chain rifle, em grenade, and Spitfire options.

Basically a super tough and effective fireteam that leans more defensive, but can go murder now for cheap. No specialists, but a good hard Center for JSA.
>>
>>52523153
That isn't ARO normally. "Normally" is every model gets to take a shot.
>>
>>52525342
Not being able to ARO against the same model at the same time is almost never going to be a problem (and iirc inactive proxies can still dodge, change facing and reset). It's a drawback, but a minor one that sure as hell isn't worth the ridiculous 20 point discount some Posthumans get.
>>
>>52519059
It means 3,4,5 is 0, so it doesn't matter. Effect doesn't count as damage on its own either, you add it separately after a roll if applicable.
Somewhere in the book there was a thing about average value of die and it was exactly one-half, which can only be true if it's die with sides [1, 2, 0, 0, 0, 0].
>>
Next reveal for stuff is going to be at gencon right?
>>
>>52522903
All these flavors, and you had to pick salty.

Realtalk though kiddo, ALEPH Lhosts have cyberbrains: their bodies don't have control interfaces like TAGs do. TAGs can be possessed because they have are engineered for their Pilot to issue them commands and control them: they have protocols for connection, and those can be spoofed by a Hacker. There's no engineering for a controller to activate a Lhost: the limbs and the brain are just connected. Personally, it's less credulous that Manned TAGS can be Possessed due to these principles, but at least the controls are much simpler than a human body's connections. The 'Possession' hack inhabiting a Manned TAG must be spoofing the mechanical inputs the Pilot would be making.

A Posthuman is a slightly different Lhost entity in that the Posthuman itself can jumps between the cyber brains of different Lhosts. But that's a 'quantronic' entity, living data. A Hacker program can't emulate it, or else we'd have AIs going wild everywhere.

Thsee facts are why Sepsitorization is so terrifying, also: Possession where none should be possible, overwriting controls that should be far too complex to mess with.
>>
>>52529534
AIs aren't going wild everywhere because ALEPH made other AIs illegal. Nomads are doing just fine with their AIs and I don't see why a cyber brain couldn't be hacked or at least their communication pathway.

Making them hackable in some form would help alleviate their undercost.
>>
>>52526145
They also only generate half to a third of the orders.
>>
>>52529150
April snipershot came out today
>>
>>52530651
Increasing the cost would help alleviate their undercost.

>>52530917
And if they were cheerleaders then that would be fine. But providing orders is not their purpose. Their purpose is
>to be a ludicrously cheap and quite survivable hacker/doctor/engi
>to be a ludicrously cheap infiltrating TO camo sniper or hacker that is better at both those functions than a Dasyu
>to be a ludicrously cheap fast HI spitfire
>to be a ludicrously cheap HI HMG or HRL
>to be a ludicrously cheap forward deploying specialist toolbox
All of those aren't valuable for the orders they provide, they're valuable for what they do with those orders or with AROs. I'm not saying the discount should go away completely because there are downsides to poshumans, but the extent of it right now is ridiculous.
>>
Alright I'm in a bit of a jam and I was wondering if anyone could suggest something. Had a Jotum I got second hand. Built it. On the way to try it out. I dropped it and lost the front shields from it (ones that goes on the chest). I don't have the complaint code. Anyone have a spare complaint code kicking around for a Jotum so I can get replacement parts?
>>
>>52531245
You forgot
>to provide a free order even if they are all dead
You can play aggressively with Post-Humans, because even if they die, your resources are not that depleted. So jumping in front of a link to shotgun them in the face is not a big deal.
>>
>>52523017
>Do you lean defensive or offensive for your Order Sgt links?
It depends on the table, but as they get access to longer ranged weapons than most knights, usually defensive. Otherwise I'd have to relegate a Black Friar to sniping (and he's a bit squishy and I prefer the Albedo profile) or a Father-Knight to ML duty (and he's a bit costly, though can work wonders against a TAG).
>>
>>52531245
You have to have enough orders to feed into these models for it to matter. Those proxies are going to be order starved compared to the equivalent models in other factions. Orders are the single most important resource in Infinity. Here is an example for comparison.

TRAUMA-DOC Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14)
ORC HMG / Pistol, Knife. (2 | 44)
CROC MAN Hacker (Assault Hacking Device) Combi Rifle, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 36)

2.5 SWC | 94 Points.

PROXY Mk.1 Doctor (MediKit) Combi Rifle, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10)
PROXY Mk.4 HMG, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (2 | 25)
PROXY Mk.2 Hacker (Assault Hacking Device) Boarding Shotgun, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 21)

2.5 SWC | 56 Points

The first group is going to be a significantly more effective combination with three orders to spend, rather than one.
>>
>>52531638
>being so afeared of defenseless netrods that you don't blow them up
>>
>>52531908
Great. Now add a couple of chain rifle Myrms or combi Dakinis to the second one to bring it closer to the cost of the first one. Oh whoops, suddenly the ALEPH force has same number of orders as well as more useful units, it's still several points cheaper, and Posthumans are still as good or superior to their normal counterparts. That's not to mention that you can play aggressively with them as >>52531638
stated, since you don't lose that one order until all Proxies and Netrods are destroyed.
>>
>>52532154
The proxies are all AVA1 so you can't spam them.

Also the Isolated state would entirely disable any of the proxies until an Engi could get in B2B with them.

That is a serious vulnerability to E/M special ammunition. If you are getting so consistently rekt by Proxies, why aren't you using E/M?

Why don't you git gud rather than having whine and cheese parties when you get rekt?
>>

>The first group is going to be a significantly more effective combination with three orders to spend, rather than one.

>>
>>52532689
>The proxies are all AVA1 so you can't spam them.
Yes. That's why they haven't broken the entire game. Since they can't be spammed they're just a "mere" autoinclude, not because of any unique utility but because they're too cheap for what they bring to the table.

>Also the Isolated state would entirely disable any of the proxies until an Engi could get in B2B with them.
>That is a serious vulnerability to E/M special ammunition. If you are getting so consistently rekt by Proxies, why aren't you using E/M?
Those are vulnerabilities, yes. But they're vulnerabilities shared by TAGs, HI, remotes and to a lesser extent all units that wish to interact at all with the order pool. Besides, something having weaknesses does not automatically mean it is appropriately priced.

>Why don't you git gud rather than having whine and cheese parties when you get rekt?
I don't get rekt by Posthumans. I fight them, sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. Occasionally I even use them myself when I field my friend's ALEPH army. But it doesn't take a genius to see that their point values are off.
>>
>>52533248
Infinity isn't supposed to have point-for-point parity between every model in every list. That is why the game is balanced with AVA as well as point values.

Your entire underlying premise is wrong.
>>
>>52533248
Also, why should an iconic unit that has unique and flavorful special rules not be autoinclude in every list for that faction?
>>
>>52533188
So one thing that doesn't have models and is mercs and something that is a dual box which isn't sold in any eastern european country. Great, what great advice do you have? To spam galwagians when no shop got more then 1 box of them, and no Russian or Polish recaster does infinity models?

>>
>>52533614
Can't you use Paypal?
>>
>>52533369
It doesn't need to be a point-for-point parity. Vague balance is fine, it's what the rest of Infinity operates on. Posthumans are not vaguely balanced, however. They're excellent units that have a ~20 point discount attached to them but they come with the condition that you must take more excellent units and use the dozens of points you saved buying cheerleaders. Their effect on inter-factional balance wasn't massive, but they totally fucked the intra-factional balance of ALEPH.

>>52533385
Because there shouldn't be autoinclude units, and if there are it should be because they provide a unique utility for the army (an example is Makauls for their eclipse smoke, they were important in pre-Sukeul Tohaa armies due to the emphasis on short range shooting). Not because they do the same thing as other units, except better and cheaper. Autoincludes do nothing but make lists more homogeneous and discourage different playstyles or the use of any competing units.

I would have to get a visa to even enter EU, and that costs 200euros. Cheapest train trip to madrid is around 600euros, because you have to switch trains. Am not going to pay 800 euros to get a chance to buy 1 model out of 3, because CB is stupid and makes multi faction boxs.

Your local store is not the same as all of Eastern Europe you know. I live in one (granted, in EU) and I have Isobel that I use as Valerya proxy. If it's impossible to buy then proxy her too.

Sometimes people band together to order stuff in bulk, to split (or get rid of) delivery cost, so maybe you could gather your buddies for a bigger online order and have the guy with a valid card place the order.

Also 4chan is for people over 18.

You can't do that. Yes, this is one of the most retarded rules ever. Basically, the enemy can "stomp" somewhere behind the corner, forcing you to do Change facing, and then go into BTB on his second short skill, denying any AROs you'd normally do.

>>
>>52536265
>>52536121

Only exception is against camo tokens or Sixth Sense. Sixth Sense only allows delaying within 8 inches, and delaying against camo tokens only allows you to use your delayed ARO if it reveals itself in the next order.

If your model had no eligible AROs on the first action, but then gets them on the second action (sniper doesn't see first part of move across the map, but then the second), it can then use it's single ARO for the order. However if at any point your model is available for any ARO during the first order, it has to use it or lose it.

>>
>>52542928
You are completely wrong.
Rules allow you to shoot a sneaky CC monster when he comes over the corner on his second short skill since his movement in your ZOC doesn't give you ARO untill you see him.
However, if he says that he's not using Stealth, you suddely have to declare CF or do nothing at all.
That's how it works and it's extremely dumb.
>>
>>52542928
He's not though, and in his example he wouldn't get hit by an axe at all that order, the "sneaky" CC monster makes his presence known, causing the target to turn around, then charges up to stand really close to him without attacking.

Granted, his example requires his opponent to spend 2 orders to kill him instead of one, and CC is hard enough to get into without it anyway so it's not entirely bullshit. It's still a somewhat bizarre rules interaction that can feel bad when it happens, though.
>>
>>52543063
The point is that it allows you to ignore cheerleaders with template weapons that hit automatically.
