It's partially that childbirth is a lot more stress on the whole musculature than sex. Babies are big, and they're crammed all up inside you for possibly hours at a time. Feats are spread out by what exactly they hunt, if I went to dig them up I'd probably have to rip the whole book, and frankly speaking, I'm too lazy to do that.

I'll spoil you, they're trash. I don't just mean, "this is another shitty Pathfinder player companion", as far as I can tell this book is especially bad. Probably the worst supplement of the year.

The items are... okay, in the way that an abacus and merchant's scale are okay if you're playing a really specific campaign where appraise is the best stat. There're taxidermy tools to give you a +2 bonus for... taxidermy, a stealth cloak for all those campaigns where you need to stalk monsters and don't need any saves at all. That kind of stuff, that miiiight see use in a single campaign somewhere, someday, if someone decides to host something very very specific.

Yes, it's a +1 bonus max on attack, damage, skills, or DCs, for each extra target you give up. I have /never/, from level 5 to level 15 as a slayer, studied more than one target at a time. What this means is that at level 10 when you get your third possible target you can now in combat study as a level 15 slayer.

I'd say that in DHB's case, at least, that's more fallout over one witchhunter blowing the apparent rapey qualities of a few of his apps out of proportion. Not a demon, but there was a particular daemon we killed about three times over the course of a week, because it was guarding a lich's lair and we were trying to clear it out. But we kept having to retreat because it was too dangerous, and the daemon would be resummoned by its undead master every time we left. It was dangerous the first time but after that we'd figured out its tricks and didn't have too much trouble with it.
