Any and all opposing teams would immediately argue that drastic bioengineering is illegal in said league. Why does the vast majority of 40k art depict Space Marines firing their guns at nothing? I'd really love to see a piece of art where a 'nid is taking a faceful of meltagun or a Chaos marine is having a chunk of his pauldron blown off by sustained bolter fire, instead of this flaccid guns-akimbo-but-hitting-nothing pageantry all the fucking time.

well a bolter has an insane range, so unless you want a picture of space marines, 300 meters of empty field and their target, you ain't gonna get much else. Once they are in close up it would make a lot more sense for them to switch to there melee weapons to be honest.

But even then you don't see them do much more than brandish their fucking melee weaponry. I'd be down to see a Space Marine smashing an Ork in the jaw with a power hammer, or chainswording through a gaggle of fruity eldar, or a Khornate Berserker stomping on a hapless IG grunt.

But there's never any action in 40k art. It's always sterile brandishing and firing at nothing. If you're going to be grimdark, at least throw some goredark in too!

Agreed, thought out of curiosity what should be our chapter name and what doctrine shall we adopted? Should we go full angry marines or reasonable marines.
