It does require a fair bit of hammering to make it work... but hey, at least the concepts are nice. Beats most of the threads around here.

As far as "reveal illusion" type spooky shit goes, I'm partial to the "enlightening drug trip". It goes something like
>see nice peaceful country cottage, picket fence, birds chirping, the works, comfy af
>suddenly all sound goes out, movement stops, and a literal tear in reality rips apart
>several shadowlike beings appear, one turns to you and says something like "what are you doing here, you're not supposed to see this"
