Quick update on the Tank Crew CYOA; I've streamlined the stats and have listed out all the tank options. There are 8 commander skills (you get to pick two) and 12 tank upgrades (you get to pick 3). No dicking around with point costs or anything, just take your shit and get on the road.

Using the blood of fallen foes as the materials, you can make a wide range of weapons, armor, and military supplies. For reference, one person can create a sword and chest armor, a standard military rifle, 30-60 bullets depending on the gun, or a day's worth of meals.

I used Paint.net. I prefer GIMP, but GIMP can't draw shapes. Unfortunately, the pastebin wasn't lying; Paint.net is really shitty when it comes to fixing mistakes and going back to make edits (hence why the images are a little bit too tiny compared to the text boxes). If I were you, I'd advise something else, or at least try to somehow marry the two.

I thought about different starting stats for each tank type in the initial draft, but couldn't really justify it after ditching the point-buy model. That being said, now that I'm working on the crew member drafts, it's becoming apparent that I might need to add that back or risk there being some kind of "perfect build". Which would be boring IMO.

THAT BEING SAID. I really can't justify the Heavy tank for two reasons:
1: If I add the Heavy tank in, it's gonna mean rethinking the roles and stats that each other tank will have.
2: I'm not really a military buff, so to me the Heavy is just the halfway point between a Medium tank and a Tank Destroyer. The Battle Tank type was supposed to represent Medium and Heavy tank classes; splitting it into two is, like... I dunno, I don't see what one or the other would bring to the table if I did that.

Tell you what. If you really want to see the Heavy make it in, I'll figure something out with the stats, but you gotta give me a special feature that'll make it stand out. And no flat bonuses to stats, that's the cheap way out, and I purposefully avoided that with the other types.

There's a boat load of other Powers, assuming I can ever finish this, that'll give way more effects. So the basic Powers will be fairly generic, but there'll be some unique Powers too. I've mixed in combative and utilitarian Powers here. Unlike Worm, not every Power has to be used for conflict, on the other hand, just about any Power can nonetheless, be weaponized.

In addition to traditional or even unconventional super powers, there'll also be utility powers to make your life easier or powers like Painless, which lean toward RP/story purposes. Deku from BnHA probably has a degree of Painless. I mean, sure there's willpower but at some point, you gotta wonder if it's just willpower or does he simply feel less pain than a regular person?

Actually, I got a power in mind for Deku's strategic ability, called Thinking is a Free Action, under the Meta Powers category. This power allows you to slow down time in your mind, thus allowing you time to observe and analyze your surroundings and plenty of time to think through every aspect.

It's a power I find in many MCs, such as Deku, but guys like Hisoka from HxH too.

I don't really need the points, but Golden Dawn combined with the initial debuff of Skitter Mode is the only way it is even theoretically possible to be defeated.

Perks: Blank, Shattered Limiter, Invictus
Powers: Eidolon, Alexandria, Kaleidoscope, Legend, Power Manipulation... I could buy another 8 powers but to be frank it's not even worth doing.

I know the ability I can use to one-shot Scion. Thanks to Eidolon I have access to that. I also know how Scion avoids that ability and thanks to Blank (which, being a Perk rather than a Power, has no initial debuff) that won't work when I use it on him. He's dead as soon as I see him.

The other two entities showing up are more of a fair fight, but I'm going to be at 4x strength when they show up. If I hide until they shatter themselves into shards, there's basically no way they can win. If I try to fight them before they splinter it might be harder, but being body-slammed at the speed of light tends to destroy even planet-sized objects. Of course they might just try to run. The Entities have run away from other planets before, because they were discovered and the natives were able to raise unacceptably strong resistance, and I'm pretty sure those natives didn't have the kind of bullshit I am going to bring to bear on them.

Everything else is really solid, but I really don't think many are actually going to enjoy it. People are gonna have to read the stat descriptions like a million times while playing it. I love complex systems as well, but not for CYOAs. You really probably should just boil it down to STR DEX MAG and then maybe CHA and one snowflake stat like the crafting thing.
