Good thing Talion is undead, he can keep up with the whirlwind of death that will turn Mordor into a Khornate paradise. Hell, Khorne might promote Sauron to be the keeper of the playground. Sauron will just sob in a corner that his plans of world domination were hijacked by the resident saints of slaughter. Karmic justice is harsh like that sometimes.

The only system I know of that actually does modern well is GURPS, so that might be a somewhat hard sell. But the people I tabletop with are the same people I vidya with, and they're a pack of ravenous fucking murderhobos in either medium so maybe they'd be willing to put up with the system for consequence-free modern violence.
