Yes

>>52211926
So what role does the Aggressor fulfill?
>>
>>52211989
In-Universe? Recon and Light Fighter-Bomber duty

In XWM? Imp Turret carrier (subject to change when the named pilots are spoiled)
>>
>>52211926

Alright, so the Aggressor made it in.

Do we want to take bets on more ships? Will the Oppressor with two missiles and a system slot come in, clearly designed to be the Imperial B-Wing, but instead of primary/cannon attacks, it throws Unguided Rockets because that's a thing now? Will the TIE Hunter finally get in, a dangerous ace hunter which can utilize torpedoes? Will shit get really weird, and we get Vanguards or Scouts as support TIEs?
>>
>>52211989

It's a attempt to build a fighter/bomber, much like the Y. It was used for attacking rebel convoys and shipping, and also some patrol and escort duty. It's supposed to be rugged and versatile, but pays for it with less maneuverability and power.

Like >>52212042 said in game we'll see. Right now it seems to be a choice for your cheap turreted or missile ship.
>>
>>52212065
If FFG keeps going back to OldCanon for ships when NuCanon stuff has been exhausted we might see the TIE Hunter, TIE Raptor and maybe Assault Gunboat for Imps. But that will be 3-4 waves away at earliest
>>
>>52212142

Given that Unguided Rockets is now an imperial themed upgrade (they're the only ones with double missiles that anybody can think of) I feel confident the Gunboat will eventually make it in. Probably with the ability to be more flexible with upgrades also, but given how weakly armed the ship is normally, something like Cannon+Missile+Missile is a niche imps don't have.
>>

>>
>>52213708
No. Fan-speculation at best, and some mentions of a 4k version of the special edition of ANH, but that's it.

Disney can't legally release any physical copies of the PT/OT without a deal from Fox, anyway, and there's not even been rumors of such a deal.

Remember that Fox owns distribution rights for ANH in perpetuity or until they decide to sell those rights.

First up the dial. Making this gimmick the major part of the ship's design. Imbalanced ship design makes the ship push left, and it LOVES going left, and hates going right. Fastest it can turn "right" will be from a 2 straight and a boost right. Dial generator didn't like all of the options I gave it.

Corrections and clarifications to the image:
>1 speed bank is green, turn is white, tallon roll and segnor's loop are red.
>2 speed bank and turn are green, straight, tallon roll, and segnor's loop are white.
>3 speed bank, turn, tallon roll and segnor's loop are green (faster speed means easier to handle and utilize the pull to the left), 3 straight is white.
>4 straight red (pilot has to pull right hard to keep it straight for that long)
>5 red koroigan turn

I'm phone posting and editing, so I can't really modify the firing arcs. There will be a 180 cannon only auxiliary firing arc on the left half of the ship. Just try to imagine it, this will become part of the gimmick package through a title.

No. George sold Lucasfilm and its properties as is, all rights intact. Fox still owns the distribution rights for I-VI until 2020 and IV in perpetuity.

It's why the digital distribution for I-VI in 2015 was allowed to happen the way it did, because technically Fox doesn't actually own the distribution rights for digital (as far as I am aware of), just for theatrical and physical media for home release.

Thats it for the images. Now for some in-box upgrades to flesh this shit out.

Obligatory gimmick title:
>Pintle Mount
You may equip a Cannon upgrade to this ship. While it is equipped, you cannot perform primary weapon attacks, and must only use your auxiliary firing arc.

Cannon:
>Gatling Laser
5pts, Range 1-3, 3 attack, if you do not modify your attack dice, the defender cannot modify their defense dice.

System:
>Overclocked Sensors
3pts, dual card
Side 1: When you perform an action, you may perform a free action. If you do, flip this card.
Side 2: Action: Receive a stress token and a"Weapons Disabled" token, flip this card.

Modification:
>Autothrusters
Because we NEED another source of autothrusters besides buying star vipers.

EPT:
>Vengeful
2pts, after an enemy ship at range 1-3 destroys a friendly ship, if you are not stressed, you may receive 1 stress token to immediately perform an attack against that ship, if able.
>>
>>52215543
Vengeful sounds fun.
>>
>>52215869
Following up, it would make a black squadron swarm crazy good. 16 points a pop is pretty cheap
>>
>>52215962
>>52215869
It has many good applications, and its essentially the new chewie pilot ability with added stress. This of this on someone like quickdraw, who can now shoot a maximum 6 times per turn (if the vengeful attack allows special ops training to kick in as well), or at the very least if someone has FCS and a lock on the target, they then get to fire missiles at them.

A bounty hunter who doesn't know he's a bounty hunter.

Character delivers packages he doesn't know are bombs or shit like that, unknowingly killing a bunch of people for his boss.

Speaking of the IG-88 droid conspiracy, my player characters are about to unleash their own droid conspiracy on the galaxy.

An old Separatist super tactical droid head was hooked up to a bunch of databanks in a research facility and left to rot for thirty years. The PCs found him. He has gained sentience, used the databanks as overflow memory and rewritten his own programming.

They deal is that they were sent to this facility to retrieve data. The data is on the droid, who doesn't want to lose parts of his "personality" by disconnecting to the databanks. To make things more complex, the person who gave them this job wants the droid wiped after the data is copied.

But the players like the droid and want to save it. So they're headed to a Clone Wars-era Holowan Mechanical laboratory to see if they can get a droid body that this sentient droid would fit into.

And then the plan is to hook this sentient droid, in his new body, into the old Separatist Shadowfeed transmission complex on Murkhana from where he can slice and gain root access to the HoloNet via the aging network of military grade pirate relays so that they can make a show of transmitting the data to their boss and destroying the old droid head on holo to prove they got the job done.

So tell me, /tg/... what should happen next?

Think as long as the pilot's "upgraded on drugs" it'll work out exactly as /swg/ planned
>>
>>52218315

Can you transmit data over the Holonet? I thought it was for Audio/Visual communication only. I've actually been researching this a lot to try and figure out how communications and data transfer work in Star Wars on the interstellar scale because our GM was allowing us to more or less "google," for information if we had computer access and that seemed totally wrong to me.

My conclusions were that the Holonet only allows for A/V input/output and you can't send data files over it like its some kind of space internet. Subspace comms CAN transmit data but carries with it the danger of interception, corruption once you travel enough light years or relay it enough times, and its also really slow, like it can take days or weeks to send a file just to the other side of a sector. These two factors are why physical data storage and physical data couriers/information brokers are so important in Star Wars: there ain't no cloud or space torrent, and its faster and safer to take a spaceship and hand somebody a flash drive than it is to try and space-email it to them.

If you have a specific example of using the holonet for interstellar data transfer rather than just communication, I'd appreciate hearing about it so I can adjust my findings.

Hey /swg/, does anyone have any ideas/house rules for Mandalorian Iron as an equipment attribute? My bro is playing a Mando and he's been looking for some kind of special snowflake thing to "explore his heritage," with because his character has been estranged from his family and culture. I could just have it be a copy/paste of Cortosis I guess, but that seems really lame. For that matter, I kind of want to change the Cortosis rules too since it seems really wrong to me the attribute counts against all weapons and not just energy/lightsabers.

What I was thinking was since Cortosis is supposed to be brittle, it can keep its current effects and also add Sunder immunity to armor along with it providing immunity to Stun Damage, however these effects only count against energy weapons. In return, Sunder from physical weapons like blades and slug-throwers counts double.

Meanwhile, Mando Iron is supposed to stand up to Lightsabers and other energy weapons because of super high molecular density, which would also apply to physical weapons, but its not totally impregnable to concentrated attacks. So maybe the Mando Iron trait would similarly make armor and weapons immune to Sunder and Breach, but only blocks Pierce up to 1 to represent still being vulnerable to weapons specifically designed for pinpoint armor piercing (as opposed to the "large scale," armor piercing represented by Breach). Then since Cortosis now provides immunity to stun, have the super dense metal provide immunity to Burn.

Finally, since "refined," Cortosis has the special effect of being able to short out Sabers, there should be a special attribute for "Pure," Beskar. Its stated to be much heavier if not an alloy, but also even more dense, so maybe it gets Cumbersome X but also Deflection X since at that density almost anything would bounce off it.

Does all that track? Any glaring balance issue stand out?
>>
>>52220577
You 'can' send data, but its very demanding on the network. The old WEG Imp SB (PDF attached) was probably the most definitive and interesting iteration of 'how shit works' on the Holonet, I like this explanation as its got some foundations in actual protocols you would find on a telco carrier at the data-link layer
(got to love writers that actually research shit!)

In saying that, its quite primitive so that data-layer isn't something which is easily accessible if you where to apply it to a modern OSI Model as there's another 5 transport layers before you could 'read' data in an application. Plus like a lot of long range communications there's usually a compromise between the 'range' a signal can go and the amount of data that can be transported in that signal- hence when in Rogue One they where at a data facility, there's this fucking massive signal dish used to transmit information from a cassette to wireless.

TLDR- its not the internet! Its the tubes behind the internet

You can absolutely, definitely, send data one-way over the HoloNet, if only because the data could be encrypted into pulses of sound (like an audio modem) and/or light (like li-fi/VLC).

This is a ridiculous source, but somewhat valid: If you remember in the Holiday Special, we see various characters using viewscreens and channels on Kashyyyk to communicate with each other - between Luke, Leia, or Saun Dann and Chewbacca's family; the Imperial government and the people of Kashyyyk; and in the animated cartoon, Boba Fett and Vader. That last example is particularly notable, because it's a public terminal, accessible via a sort of ID punch card... and R2 slices into the feed to get information.

According to Wookiepedia:
Despite Tarkin declaring that the HoloNet was only to be used by the Empire, it was a "source of conspiracy theories" for individuals such as Okadiah Garson. The rebel sympathizer Hetto also maintained contact with rebel operatives such as Hera Syndulla using the HoloNet. Rebel operatives such as Gall Trayvis managed to circumvent [Imperial control of the HoloNet] by hijacking Imperial transmissions with pro-rebel propaganda.

So it's 100% viable that they could send the data via the transmission tower. It's just not the Internet. It's closer to a TV broadcast.

I have a feeling they had the ship explode because it probably wouldn't have been acceptable to show cyborg Pablo's head being fried and being electrocuted to death.

>>52220924
eh seems like a convoluted solution to a simple problem, where I would just have Beskar count as a cortosis ore (a Electrostaff, described as being made of Phrik, has the cortosis quality). Also just being dense doesn't necessarily grant protection from fire. But otherwise it seems sound.

I'm going to guess in typical imperial fashion, the AWACS Gozanti wasn't equipped with a bevy of safety features in case somebody backhacked it and overloaded it, but basically it seems like Hera poured too much data/power back up the pipe through Chop that their system crashed. You can hear one of the cyborgs say the fuel cells are compromised so I think their power or engines melted down. Which is totally something that would happen in star wars - they have no guard rails.

I'm more OK with Phrik being a mechanical duplicate of Cortosis because it's differences, ie being a compound rather than an element, being an energy disperser rather than an energy conductor, and not having the brittleness that Cortosis is supposed to have, are pretty minor and not really worth a mechanical distinction. If I were to make one it would just to be to remove the physical sunder vulnerability and make stuff made.from Phrik one step more rare because it's supposed to be hard enough to manufacture that it's never been implemented on an industrial scale even in wars against Jedi, where as Cortosis has.

Your point about not necessarily being fireproof just from being dense is fair. I guess I just assumed hyperdensity would mean a poor heat conductor when in reality that's not the case as two seconds Googling made clear. Still, I like the idea of a Mando Iron armor suit coming out of a flamethrower blast unscathed so I'll probably keep it.

I require help. My group is about to backstab a hutt. The job was simple and the rewards were great for an entry level job.

They were supposed to grab spice and return along with the betty bot assigned to them for aide.

They're going to kill the Betty bot because they suspect she's sending information to the Hutt.
Then sell all the spice for themselves.

I'm thinking about having a EMP device going off the moment they destroy the Betty Bot to shut down the Engines. Then have slavers take their ship as a "All according to plan" Moment from the Hutt. (The character is a flamboyant long term thinker)

Immediate reciprocity doesn't feel right. Let them backstab the hutt, kill the droid and get away with the spice. If they execute the plan well, let them have it.

Then make their lives harder while they think they got away with it.

Imperial customs patrols are now more frequent and surprisingly heavily armed.

Then they reach a suitable shadowport, preferrablly with a fence they already know and trust.

The fence won't touch the spice. In fact he runs you out of his shop and closes up. None of the other "reputable" buyers will go near it.

Then you can work from there. I wouldn't recommend railroading them into returning it to the Hutt in question though. Have somebody that's an old enemy of theirs, I mean somebody they really fucking hate, show up with an offer to take the hot merchandise of their hands, for a favor...

Question for anybody in/running a campaign: What are your personal thoughts about your party affecting canon events, such as killing a main character or altering the outcome of a certain event?
>>
>>52226832

>>
>>52226848
Discuss with players beforehand. It's most important to decide how the storyline affects your games in AoR games. Most of my players avoid canon as they just want to do space pirate things and the one time they did they failed to smuggle a crucial component to the Hoth ion cannon.
>>
>>52226848
I am quiet severely against it, because if you don't stamp that idea out fast, some asshole is invariably going to try and divert the game to trying to ruin canon as thoroughly as they can

My tip is not to use REUP. They took a ~275 page comprehensive rulebook and decided that the best way to improve it is to ADD to it. And I don't mean just a little.

REUP weighs in at over 500 pages. It's a fucking tome, and all those extra rules might come up, what, once? Fuck that shit.

Let's cut all those out - even a shit ton of the ones in the main D6 core book - and replace them with a simple, singular rule:

The Gambit
If a player character wants to perform a more difficult task using a skill, they may declare that they wish to perform a gambit. They tell the GM their goal, the GM determines how more difficult the task becomes and adds to the TN. Then the player makes their skill roll as per normal. The GM may reward cinematic or creative ideas by adding to the player's available dice.

It's simple and covers almost any situation imaginable

The pilot wants to, for whatever reason, fly upside down? The GM says that it makes the skill check more difficult. Add +5 to the target number and roll the space transports skill.

The vibrosword-wielding melee character wants to literally disarm an enemy rather than making a generic attack? The GM says that it makes the TN +10 harder and to roll for it.

The pilot wants to shoot a proton torpedo 90 degrees downward into a two-meter-wide hole to destroy the Death Star? The GM says that it's nearly impossible, to add +30 to the target number, and roll it.

The GM doesn't need to look up any rules, they just need to be reasonable at estimating difficulties. Boom, just saved your campaign.
>>
>>52227802
Androgynous, you say?
>>
>>52226848
I told my characters starting out that THEY were the heroes, and canon could change drastically because of their actions. They love it.

The whole GCW went differently. Alderaan, Chandrilla, and Mon Cala were destroyed, but Yavin wasn't. The Emperor ended up dying in 1 ABY aboard the first Death Star because of Darth Vader's sabotage. Leia ended up being Vader's secret apprentice. Tarkin and Vader survived. Tarkin has named himself Regent and has seized control of the Mid and Outer Rims, while Vader is off in the Deep Core making sure that the Emperor is really gone (and can't come back as a clone).

The Rebellion got FUCKED UP too, due to Leia's deception. It was effectively dismantled.

And this was all because of a mistake the players made, in an attempt to infiltrate an ISB facility, that allowed the Empire to give them false intel.

So now they need to figure out a way to rebuild the Rebellion, while they're the galactic #1 most wanted.

I'm a little murky on the timeline of the founding of the formal rebellion under Legends history. Its relatively solid that the formal unification of the various cells and organizations under the three founders was in 2BBY, right? Also that Mon Mothma was forced into exile as a traitor around a year or two before that? And that Bail Organa retired from the Senate and have his seat to Leia so he could be a full time rebel and criticize the Empire from a slightly safer place around the same time as Mothma was exiled?

So, my main questions are 1) when was the attempted assassination on Harm that allowed him to be presumed dead and unify the Corellian Resistance? Wookiepedia says that one comic that portrays the event happened in 0 BBY but it seems like it had to be in or before 2BBY so he could have been operating for a while before the Alliance. 2) When was Ackbar enslaved and when was he rescued? We know he was one of the admirals helping to evacuate Yavin, and that he provided Intel on the Death Star when he was liberated, but there's not a lot of hard data on how long he was captive and when he brought them that Intel. 3) When did the rebels first learn of the DS? In force unleashed the three leaders were taken there, but I think it's implied they don't know about the weapon attached to it is capable of at the time. We're there rumors about it before that event? Was it the various Intel sources, from Ackbar to the Bothans and to whoever else that allowed to finally piece together it's true nature sometime before they started trying to steal its plans? Or did they only get the full scope of its powers when they absconded with the plans in Dark Forces?

Unfortunately, it was a while ago. But I can describe the details if you want.

I think what the Anon above was referring to is that Vader's faction of the Empire would be morale-based. He would generally treat the military well, as he does the 501st. He'd allow units to customize their armor, a la the Clone Wars. He'd fight side-by-side with his men, or fly at the head of the squadrons, and lead from the front. He'd do the impossible, and his stormtroopers and generals and admirals would witness it, and they would have mutual respect.

Vader would still be a hardass when disappointed - but people wouldn't want to anyway. In contrast to Tarkin's faction, they would FIGHT for Vader.

Basically the resurgence of War Hero Jedi General Anakin Skywalker.

Did I miss anything, other Anon?

Dark side artifacts should always offer power in return for some curse or drawback. Especially in the Legends continuity, where the dark side is explicitly corrupting not only of mind but of body as well.

>>
>>52233936
There's at least one server preserved as much as possible, and it was semipopulated from what I recall.
>>
>>52233782
In terms of marketing and sales? Yes. The E and Starviper are unknown to non-Legends fans. Their sales are probably paltry compared to the T-65. It reflects badly on the company and game when the most iconic ship in the franchise (and the title ship of the game) doesn't see much high-level competitive play outside of Biggs, who is boring anyway.
>>
>>52233782
The E-wing is the ship most in need of a fix. By far. Its generics are near pre-fix Advanced levels of underpowered, which no other ship in the game is near anymore. The E-wing fix needs to be substantial.

Kihraxz is probably second after that honestly. The only decent pilot it has is its PS5 generic. Its dial is mediocre with the lack of one straight and it is surprisingly easy to just blow up. It needs a series of titles that give it different upgrade options for cheaper.

Both the T-65 and Starviper have some decent pilots. The Starviper named pilots are both decent, if slightly overpriced. Xizor acts counter to how a lot of people think but he can still be put in competent lists. Guri has one of the best abilities in the game.

The T-65 still has some problems, but it has one pilot that continues to make top 16 in most major tournaments (Biggs), and a few more that have potent abilities in the right set up (Wes, Wedge, Tarn). It's probably the ship that needs a fix the least out of the ones that do, but it definitely still does, and what's the game called again? I'd accept a slightly overpowered X-wing just because it's the namesake of the game and Rebels damn well should be using them.

Also, the T-70 should benefit from whatever fix the T-65 gets. It's almost as bad, and was apparently designed in the same mold as the T-65 precisely so they could do that.
>>
>>52234029
Good write up. I think you've hit the nail on the head.
>>
>>52233976
I'd wager the Starviper sells a lot better than anything that has a T-65 in it just because of autothrusters.

The other reason to believe they'd use an analogue component in it is that when you do see a transmission, its got those old timey flickering, scan lines and static noise through an image. Well, for those of you who remember non-digital tv :)
Plus droids communicate through pitch-noise beeps and squeals, connect to systems by 'twisting a knob' on the computer socket so they can tune into the right modulation frequency.

So there's either a digital-analogue-digital component to it, or they just go for raw grunt and throw big power through a completely analogue system. SW tech is 'sort of' like our own in some places and a healthy dose of space magic in others, which reflects the 1970's (and earlier) influences on the movies.

He'd be the most hunted and most dangerous man in the galaxy. His body count would make Luke and Kyle look lazy, ImpInt would devote millions or billions of credits to trying to assassinate him, and the Missile Boat program might have ended up green-lit just so there might be something that could threaten him in the void.

And that's without accounting for the allies that he'd bring into the fold. The entire 501st would have followed him into the jaws of hell, as would a shitload of other Clone Wars veterans. His status as THE hero of the Clone Wars would also go a long way towards improving Rebellion recruitment efforts across the galaxy.

When you get down to it, everything that Obi-Wan achieved with his saber from that point on was down to watching that fight and trying to think a way to win it.

This is the guy who fought Greivous the 20+ Jedi Killer to a standstill, who survived a fight with Dooku more than twice, and is the ONLY person to beat Darth Vader, like definitively beat Darth Vader, in his prime, and who ISN'T related to him.

All of that started from the point that he watched Maul kill Qui-Gonn from behind the layered plot based ray-shielding.
>>
>>52237612
Obi didn't win that fight because of his skill with a saber, but because the Dark Side had caused Anakin to develop even worse judgement than he had before. I'd bet the majority of jedi could have cut Anakin's arms and legs off while he was trying to jump over them like a retard.

This talk of TIE fighter is bringing back old memories. So why exactly did Admiral Harkov want to defect to the Rebellion? He wasn't an ideologue and the rebellion can't pay better. Or was he hoping to defect and take over?
>>

Most of his actions make it seem like he's in it for the money (he was selling Imperial munitions on the black market well before defecting). Sure, the Rebels didn't have much, but Mon Mothma seemed willing to pay well for an "officer of his caliber."

Though to be honest, ol' Harky didn't seem like the sharpest knife in the drawer. If I remember right, he invites a Rebel agent aboard his ship in the middle of a battle, abandons a perfectly-intact VicStar in favor of hiding out on a space platform, and literally names his escape ship "Getaway".

The PCs intercepted the message from Leia to Obi-Wan, and attempted to deliver the droid to Alderaan themselves for the reward. However, they didn't find C-3PO... who still made it to the Lars Homestead.

So the Empire still came a-knockin' and killed Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru. Luke had, luckily, been picking up the power converters from Tosche Station at the time, and survived. He came back to find Old Ben frantically searching the homestead in search of Luke.

Together, they went back to Obi-Wan's hovel and found a smuggler desperate enough to take on a new hand and his weird, elderly "grandfather." Obi-Wan's end goal is to bring Luke to Yoda, but they don't have the credits to get their own ship - yet.

Eventually, they make it and Luke is trained by Obi-Wan and Yoda together. With no real time limit... they're ready to swoop in and save the day when Luke is ready.

The really interesting thing is how Mace Windu is alive, blind, dark and having turned away from the Jedi Order... and training the PC Jedi-wannabe to be his cynical, anti-Imperial weapon. Yoda/Kenobi/Luke aren't gonna like that.

>Luke, did I ever tell you about Darth Maul? He was Sheev's apprentice before Dooku and Vader that used a double-bladed lightsaber. He fought against my master Qui-Gon on Naboo, and managed to kill him. Fortunately, even though I was still a Padawan I managed to cut him in half by taking advantage of the fact that he didn't know how to use the High Ground. However, it turned out that his hate somehow allowed him to survive getting cut in half and falling down a bottomless pit, and he somehow managed to escape from Naboo and become a cyborg spider on some other planet. Years later, during the Clone Wars, his brother Savage Opress found him and upgraded his cyborg legs. They went on a rampage across the Galaxy, trying to get revenge both on me and his former master Sheev. It's such a pity that he never told anyone that Sheev was a Sith Lord, that would have saved us a lot of trouble. They later took over Mandalore and killed the only woman I had ever loved right in front of me. Eventually, like 2 years ago ago in fact, Maul tracked me down here on Tatooine and I defeated him in just one strike, it was embarrassingly easy really. I held him in his arms and told him Luke was the chosen one as he died and closed his eyelids as a sign of respect, he was a good friend.

>>
>>52244238
Luke wasn't the Chosen One. That's Anakin.

Luke was a catalyst to get the Chosen One back to what he should have done in the first place.

Obi-Wan may say that Luke is the Chosen One, but remember this is seventeen years after he saw Anakin lead the destruction of everything he knew - even Yoda thought the prophecy could have been misread.
>>
>>52244266
That is a stupid thing to fuck up, I didn't see it before.
>>52244312
They were both Chosen Ones, Anakin failed originally and would never have succeeded without Luke's love, I like to think the original prophecy had it all right, a Chosen One would appear and bring ruin to the force, his son would rise and bring him back to the balance, and together they would bring balance to the force. We may never know, as I doubt Disney's gonna make something so important to the story clear in the slightest.

Who came up with the original chosen one prophecy in-universe, anyway? And why did everyone in the OJO seem to believe it without question? Even by the prequel era, the Jedi still had their share of doubters and heathens (Dooku, young Kanan, Qui-Gon).
>>
>>52244463
Qui-Gon believed whole-heartedly in the prophecy, so I do not know why you included him and Dooku never expressed an opinion on the prophecy. As for your question, we do not know, neither legends nor new canon has that answer, as far as I know, anyway.

I just included Qui-gon as an example of people who were considered "unconventional" compared to OJO thinking. Off the top of my head, I can't really think of any Jedi whose opinions to the prophecy weren't agreement, indifference, or unspecified.

Prophecy is always murky, and is often self fulfilling, in that if you believe it often comes to pass. The OJO, or at least most members, believed it was true. but not everything was clear about it, and it was obviously easily misinterpreted.

I always wondered why Lucas felt the need to add a prophecy to the mix.

All this incidental Tie love is making me think that bombers might actually become meta.

The games are infinitely more fun when you only invest in non-Dark powers.. Killing people with the Force is boring. Doomguy Katarn is the best way to play.

That's pretty nice actually.

I'm not sure what the point of Jonus is, did you just need someone at PS8? Taking Tomax without Crackshot seems wrong, but if you can make it work, more power to you.
There are still lists that can munch and arcdodge this, but I do like what it offers.
>>
>>52245170
>because he can
No one questioned him when he wrote the prequels
>>
>>52245176
Crackshot. Crackshot should be on everything.

Drop Jonus down to another Gamma Vet with Fleet Officer, which will allow you to shoot when you K-turn. Give your attack bombers lightweight frame since GC is literally worthless in that build.

But I like your base idea, and I definitely think bomber swarms might end up being a thing.

Crack shot is nice but I like the guidance chips because it's hard to modify the dice for the missiles and the pilot skill might be more beneficial give you don't have the manuverability of lighter ships but still have have a barrel roll to jive around once the chips are down.

And yes, Jonus is just there for the PS, because the list relies on getting those early bonus focus tokens from Operations specialist and putting it on Bren ruins his offensive potential.

Not putting Crack on Bren was a conscious decision because of how inflexible the dial is and I'd like to have an out or at least more mobile platform.
>>
>>52245718
Oh not guidance chips I meant VI.

But the guidance chips do make the list more reliable.

You do know Lucas had input on TCW right? If he wanted Maul to stay dead he would have.

Maybe he got the games and outfits mixed up. Jacket Kyle was DF1.
>>
>>52246157
To be fair, the original intent was most certainly for him to die and stay that way. Lucas just changed his mind later during the TCW era in response to Maul's popularity,

Kind of like when he put Boba Fett into AoTC because people liked him, and in doing so basically ruined what made the character interesting; Fett's his mysterious Man-With-No-Name Western gunslinger vibe was taken away, as was the awesome voice of Jason Wingreen.

Not saying that I mind Maul's survival or anything, but Fett getting a concrete backstory, and a boring one at that, always irked me.

Making the "Mandalorians" a thing was a mistake. You can't go two feet now in Star Wars without tripping over a Supercommando.

It's clear Ben disarmed Maul and then gave him a hand or two.
>>
>>52246239
He wore leather jackets, and also canonically used dark side powers - but without being a dark sider.

It doesn't matter which game or book it is, it's the character.
>>
>>52244295
Yeah, Maul died after getting deflected twice and on Obi Wans first hit.
