The ratio of cartoonish to non-cartoonish cards have only slightly increased over the years. Kaijus, dragon rulers, burning abyss, infernoids, subterrors, invoked, monarchs, kozmo, etc. all have some pretty nice artwork.

Why the fuck does it matter? 90% of competitive decks are archetype decks, and those all use the same cards. Whether you look online or do it yourself a Blue Eyes deck is going to look like any other Blue Eyes deck. The only deck building aspect involved is deciding what your sides are and whether or not you want to run hand traps.

>When your opponent does things your equips and field spell to summon that guy from the hand deck or graveyard
>There is a trap card where if you kill 3 effect monsters with him you win the duel - its not really good though since the deck usually OTK's after they summon 3 2900 beaters on the field.

It plays like a more reactive batteryman that bricks if the one monster gets banished.
