Is it impolite to complain about minute architectural details during a RPG session? I always have this urge to say something when my GM describe a building as "Gothic", while it is
actuallyBaroque.

Ask yourself if it would make a difference.
Its not impolite, but it is autistic. Keep in mind that most people don't know shit about most things, so your mind is just honing in on the one thing you realize he's getting wrong.

Everyone's wrong about everything all of the time. Get used to it if you want to live among the plebs.

run your own session and do it "right"
but you'll probably make mistakes about minutiae of weapons, or farming, or feudalism, or something else
and someone will probably be autistically stewing about it
As a general rule, never disrupt the flow of the session if you can possibly avoid it.
If something is quite important, like a rules query, ask once- And only once. Whatever the GM says at that point goes.
After the session is the proper time to raise potential issues, problems, or give the GM pointers/suggestions for places they could improve. If you're reasonable and the GM is too, most will be quite happy to talk about ways they can become a better GM.
But if you hold up the session, you're being an asshole.
