We have a guy in my wargaming group who:

>Is an absolutely amazing player. Heads off to tournaments and is apparently an unofficial top 20 in world player
>Requires handicaps of some sort to make the game competitive with the rest of us.
>Still can't remember a bunch of the rules, and just seems to shrug it off when he doesn't remember, and then look it up, only to forget about it a week later.

I'm not mad, but it is kind of weird.
