What games are being played in your area by a decent sized part

Flames of War and warmahordes gets played a lot around here, I recommend flames but I can't speak for warmahordes.

Warmahordes, Infinity, Bolt Action, Chain of command and Dystopian Wars are what most people play. There's a couple of people looking to start playing the Batman miniatures game

There is a lot of Malifaux, some Warmahordes and Guild Ball, and of course Flames of War and 40K. For low cost to start Malifaux and Guild Ball are probably your best bets.

Epic Armageddon does seem like an awesome and cool (not to mention cheap) game.

Got the models for 40k or Fantasy/AoS?

There's Inq28 and AoS28 for those into dark fantasy, have a penchant for character narratives, and who love converting things. Also bonus points for Blanchitsu, but that's not a requirement..

Warmachine, Infinity, Guild Ball, X-Wing

It's also Blood Bowl season, but that's a bit different.
