Is there be a game where the main player character is a girl/woman who is capable but does not display badass masculine behavior? She exhibits traditionaly feminine characteristics like being nurturing and protective. She has tendency towards being nonconfontational and instead finds the safest way to resolve conflict. She isn't afraid of asking more cable men to assist her when she is not up to the task. Looking for a good husband is also in her mind.

Imagine a part of the game where you ask a man to escort and protect you while you gather items of a quest. You can choose among the men in your village who have various skills. Imagine having your hand held while hiking and be princess carried or piggybacked when going through difficult terrain.

Why don't you make a character like that?

So you want to turn a game into your own personal romance novel?
>>
>>51963881
Why not? I'd love to see a game where the mechanics revolve around femininity

If you want to do your wholesome magical realm just find somebody to do it with, nobody's stopping you.

Just don't put this in an actual game, you'd likely be dead weight.

Atelier series?

I kind of wonder, are there any systems that could do atelier well, more specifically than just having magic item and potion crafting? Or even the atelier Iris way, where someone just sits back and does all the useful mundane things while others are combat/gathering drones. I secretly wanna play a character like this, but my party always comps bad and I'm tanky damage dealy meatwall guy.

I have that pdf for some reason, is that any good, or is it the pretentious super liberal hippy dippy meme I keep hearing?
>>
>>51964094
whoops, made a shit joke in another thread and forgot to empty the name field.

>Not having to be piggybacked is badass masculine behavior
Anon, you can't just change the definition of a word to make it apply to you.

Cablemen? Your magical realm is weird

The meme exists because Blue Rose is a game that specifically caters to how women roleplay and react, and the kinds of games they enjoy, as opposed to the kinds of games men enjoy.

It's ot nearly as pretentious as people say it is, but it is definitely aimed at social interaction>combat interaction and the kind of interactions that women enjoy as opposed to how men think they should be played out.

So, yes, it is liberal in the sense that it isn't combat- and mechanics-centric, but it isn't pretentious in the sense that it thinks of itself as an enlightened game system. It's just a game system fixated on a specific player base, much like JRPGs are focused on enforced cooperation and corruption-inducing power mechanics - a result of the type of player, not the game system being pretentious.

I'm interested enough to ignore what people say and give it a go, but my group would never ever go for that. Not murderhobo-y enough. And they're the sort to get up in arms about perceived SJW ttrpg appropriation game. Other than that it sound like a neat concept and a break from all the rampant stab and loot I normally play.

Doesn't Pendragon have its own mechanics for the knights' wives, who need to manage the estate while the knights are out campaigning, and also take care of finances etc.?
>>
>>51964074
Just play a mage and fluff all your spells as alchemical concoctions.

Probably something like this

>Imagine a part of the game where you ask a man to escort and protect you while you gather items of a quest. You can choose among the men in your village who have various skills. Imagine having your hand held while hiking and be princess carried or piggybacked when going through difficult terrain.

That sounds incredibly boring. Why would anyone want to play a game where you get escorted everywhere by actually capable people?
>>
>>51966378
Such a PC would probably be much more focused on interparty relationships and social interactions with NPC. I could try it, I often find myself simply roleplaying with other players and enjoying it.
>>
>>51963774
>badass behavior is automatically masculine behavior

I found your problem, broseph.
>>
>>51968963
It is though
>aggressiveness
>combativeness
>fighting
>killing
Those are not feminine traits and behaviors. Those are masculine traits and behaviors
>>
>>51968988
They are traits and behaviors that a number of societies associate with masculinity.

Basically, you're asking for a story where the female protagonist uses lateral thinking and social leverage to achieve her goals, rather than direct conflict, but where something would be seen as wrong with her if she pursued direct methods.
>>
>>51963774
Play a social character in Fantasy Craft. Or try to play a social character in Exalted and then get suplexed into oblivion.
>>
>>51963774
I'd be fine with having that as an NPC. All the named females in every game I've played have been strong independent wymmin that dont need a man.
>>
>>51969192
If the DM is fine with your fetish, let his fetish alone.
>>
>>51969190
Yeah, there are plenty of games where you can be this character OP. Just not D&D. Unless you're playing 4th edition and the pacifist healslut cleric is actually good.
