This is the current roster of new powered individuals.

What's currently happening right now is an abundance of alien mutants kidnapping and fusing with the populace of New Texas. These same aliens gave you powers by accident, or some other ulterior plans. Who knows.

What we do know is that their building their bases into the underground by sinking buildings from the surface and harboring/protecting glowing bulbs brought from the surface.

The Victors were doing well on their fight on the surface until they tried to force the fight underground, where they got swarmed by maybe hundreds of the power nullifying aliens. And the Rad Guys, almost dismantled by the in-fighting and miscommunication on how to use this chaos for their own misdeeds. Thus, their base of operations were sunken to the earth as well.

Now both sides are awaiting missions on what to do. Anyone can give an input to their sides on what they should carry out to proceed to doing what's best for them. And independents can figure out what they can do as well, but with some difficulty depending on the scale of their mission.
