How do you feel about warforged animals?

dm is an oldschool guy so probably no warforged
im thinking, fish, amphibian, aquatic mammal or dinosaur
(we are on an island with them so it wont be weird)

What's your campaign like? Like, how is it aquatic? Underwater or on a ship? I've never been in or run an aquatic campaign.

Suddendly a dire icthyosaurus appears!
>>51891442
mostly on a boat going to different lost islands to settle as colonies
islands have tribal humans and dinos on them
we recently found a "submarine"
90% of combat is on or near the water

Ferret.
A magic fantasy ferret.
They're natural swimmers irl, plus you can do the whole cute cunning animal thing with it too.

Get a crab. Teach it to play castanets.
Get a cuddlefish. Aside from being adorable, the big ones have hooked teeth on their tentacle suction cups.
