We're a group of 5 players, two of which rotate DMing separate campaigns. We are looking for one more person to step in and rotate DMing with us, running their own campaign or a module.

We usually rotate every 4 months or so, or when we feel like we've reached a good stopping point in our individual campaign.

Just so you know, regardless of other people's preferences the "small quota" thing is not actually a middle ground between a mono-splat group and a diverse group. Despite what the memes about mages say, the #1 problem with mixed splat groups isn't balance (it's easy to gimp a strong character), it's focus; the game lines generally do their own thing, and a group of a vampire, a werewolf, a promethean, and a changeling won't have anything to do together (in addition to the other problems, like Vampires mostly needing to stay in the same city and Prometheans needing to move around). This is actually worse in a "quota" group; if you have 4 vamps and a werewolf the Werewolf will absolutely never get to do the Werewolf stuff because 80% of the group is going to be focused on something else.

I'm sure there are groups like this that have made it work but this is just my 2 cents.

Current campaign is based in Rural-ish US a short while after a zombie outbreak. As such the campaign is structured around going out and finding the materials/resources to survive the coming winter whilst avoiding/dealing with zombies when necessary.

We've got a GM and 3 players already, looking to add 1 or maybe 2 more. Campaign has been running for a couple of weeks but we can easily get you up to date on what's been happening.

We're using a couple of house rules for the infected/zombies, but they're relatively minor. We can also provide you a pdf of the rulebook and a working understanding of the system then build on it as we play, and assist you with chargen. (you've still got to read some sections of the rulebook though)

If you've not encountered the system before it can be a fairly lethal system if you make big mistakes, it's modern era and uses d20 roll under for skill rolls.

Depends on what the other two players want. I am aiming for three players and on Saturday I would be able to run starting 15PM for 4-5 hours probably. So we could be done by 20 PM potentially.

Yes, it's newbie-friendly. I haven't run Maid yet and from reading the rulebook it's nothing difficult, really.

Character creation will be randomized though, as per rulebook, so be warned. There are a few tweaks to help the players customize the character a bit more, but most things will still be random.

The basic gestalt on this is that with the revelation that there were originally 18 universes, and the remaining 12 are paired, there had to be a third universe to each pair. Our story takes place within Earth's third triplet, Universe 15. In this Universe things are naturally very similar to Universes 6 and 7, but with a slight twist. Obviously in current canon this Universe has been destroyed, but things can be fudged in such a way that either it never was or it was sufficiently advanced back then to be a fair analogue of its mirrors. We begin on earth, at 500-ish power level/starting XP, during the opening speech of the 23rd Martial Arts Tournament. Your characters have entered with the intention of competing, and this is how they meet. The story that unfolds from there will be near totally original, there will be callouts to Dragon Ball but none of the specific characters from that Universe exist here. Organisations might carry over, like some equivalent to the Planet Trade Organisation, and the deific hierarchy will essentially be the same.

Minor homebrew is that you can only spend 350 pts max on attributes, 150 pts on ki skills. As far as races are concerned, you can go a little crazy but try to keep in mind that we're starting out at the end of Dragon Ball essentially moving into Z after a couple of small arcs. Not going to outright ban stuff, but have some justification for your character's being on earth.

People are nice and its peaceful, lots of nice neighborhoods to settle down. The central district of the capital is ugly and almost fully commercial, but the surrounding districts are great places to live. The worse problem they are likely to find is the rush hour.

The important things to say first are 1) This game is already happening and has been for about a month, so a lot of things are set. 2) L5r is a samurai drama, it's not a story about heroes. Samurai can be heroes yes, but heroes die young. The game is very heavy roleplay, with one real combat so far (plenty of skill rolls though). 3) If you're interested you're gonna have to talk to me so I know we work together

I'm looking for two-ish more players since we had four and one can no longer make it. The game is a Dragon/Unicorn game set at the turn of the millennia. I would like to bring the new players in between arcs, this one should end in a week though I never doubt the ability of l5r to take twice as long as expected. For between arcs I would love to do short solo sessions, especially for new players to help get them into the group.

The players are Agasha Sago, the shugenja leader, Shinjo Roland, the gaijin-blooded bushi, and Mirumoto Katashi, the enigmatic duelist. They've found and rescued the heir to the Bayushi while stationed as border patrol in unclaimed lands between their clans. Realizing that it's their duty while in the province, they have agreed to escort him to the city of the rich frog. They will arrive at the city at the start of the Thousand Year Festival, where they hope to pass off escort duty to Ikoma Fusanobu and Matsu Narumi, a friendly courier and his deathseeker companion.

It's not a medium, it's an art style, and almost tautologically terrible. The qualities which you would use to identify anime if you were ignoring the distinct art style as an identifier (despite being the most important identifier) are all the exact qualities which make it terrible. It's one identifier away from being a fundamentally shit category/genre of storytelling.

Only by including art style as an identifier do you get the good stuff: Avatar: The Last Airbender, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, The Boondocks. The only anime-y anime I've ever enjoyed has been Elfen Lied, mostly everything else is irrecoverable garbage.
