Alright guys, I think I fucked up BIG TIME.
Okay, so we were on a quest to go capture this genius from this city, but one thing lead to another, and we ended up laying siege to the whole damn place. Eventually, when we got inside, we tried looking for him, and had to deal with a bunch of plebian attacks and them throwing shit and it eventually just got so annoying that I started just slashing through them at one point.
Anyway, when we finally got to where the guy lived, and tried to make him come with us. He kept refusing, insisting that we couldn't take him as he was busy with some math problem or something, I didn't care, and tried to give him a little "poke" with my sword, telling him to get a move on, and ended up slicing an artery. Now he's fucking dead and the DM is super pissed and called for a hiatus.
I think I'm gonna get kicked.

I wouldn't say that.

>Archimedes died during the Siege of Syracuse when he was killed by a Roman soldier despite orders that he should not be harmed

Ur fucked

So do you play the big dumb martial of the party or what?
You poked the character with the blade of your sword? What's wrong with you?
>>51775503
Is this an epic history meme?
I learned about this shit in math class, don't worry, Archimedes was a dick anyways.
>>51775503
You were told specifically to not harm that guy. For fuck sake, you realize you just lost a huge ass bonus to your math and science buffs? I'm talking game changer level buff.
You'll be lucky if you're just kicked brah. I wouldn't be surprised if you get blacklisted.

Were you calling him out for being a dumb martial character, or were you calling martials dumb?
Because if the latter, you can go fuck yourself, wand-jockey, you can eat some fucking thunder stones and then take an axe-blade to your face.

>Archimedes died during the Siege of Syracuse when he was killed by a Roman soldier despite orders that he should not be harmed
Wait but if Marcellus told the soldier Archimedes wasn't to be harmed, then why have him ordered out of the province?

Because he was a notable, a great mind, and would have been useful to the Empire. Don't forget that Syracuse is still "Greek" at this point.

Maybe the reference was too subtle.
General Marcellus, did you order the code red?

I actually only play martials, which is why it irritates me when people play martial characters as dumb brutes who only know how to use their weapon.
