Probably a touchy subject but i'm curious. So i'll ask it anyways.
How could anyone give to shit's if I bought professional MTG proxies for a powered cube? To be played with anyone but not in a legitimate tournament environment?
Is there anyone out there who could get their panties in a bunch about proxies for that purpose?
I think most people wouldn't give that much of a shit. Especially for cube.
hell i was just gonna print the entire cube out on paper and stick them in sleeves with basic lands behind them

As long as your proxy makes it clear what your are playing, sure.

I did it. There are some beautiful custom foils on Amazon at the very least. If you're not playing with fucktards, everyone should be happy you tried to introduce Power into your Cube because most normal human beings who play Magic don't usually have the chance to draw a Power card into their hand on grounds of how prohibitively expensive those things are.

Bought a couple sets of dual lands proxies for edh. As long nobody uses them to scam some real cards, I don't see a problem. Even used them in tournaments.

I didn't think it would be much of an issue. I'm still curious if I'll see someone comment in this thread that would give a shit.
Not baiting, just want to see what there argument could be because I have in the past seen a lot of brohards claim that if you can't afford it you shouldn't have it.
Also I have noticed that when I play my peasant cube with new comers and some old dogs who have been out of the game for a wail they don't treat the cards with any respect. even though I have card's like judge foil land tax in it.

I probably am less accepting of proxies than some of the other people in this thread, and I don't care about you using proxies unless you are trying to pass them off as a real card (whether that be trade scamming or entering a sanctioned tournament, etc.) You can absolutely get some proxies for a powered cube it makes a lot more sense than spending thousands of dollars for a super casual format.

Btw land tax with Raven's Crime is my mind twist for my peasant cube.
:3 SO MUCH FUN :3

Understandable thanks for commenting.
how much does this cost
use proxies, fuck wizards
if their business model wasn't so fucked people wouldn't be driven to buy proxies.

I have seen german power 9 with all 10 duel and fetche lands with about 15-20 other cards like Candelabra of Tawnos, Tarmogoyf, Moxen, ect. for about $45.

I think they are about $2 per card depending on how many you buy at a time
What's the best service for getting proxies printed? I wouldn't mind building a Vintage/Legacy cube with casual friends.

No one who is not a mental patient should care.

Literally any chinaman on Aliexpress or DHgate works, they are all of similar quality.

My entire cube is proxies. The bonus is I don't have to worry about playing with randoms who may damage/steal the "valuable" cards.
>>51761880
Buy or print proxies, don't buy chinaman fakes.

Proxies are actually encouraged in the Cube format. Not everyone has modern or legacy staples lying around.
Damaged cards also can be used pretty easily.
