Anyone got any good painting guides for free for the minis or am I pretty much relegated to going out buying an airbrush?

I call it "Spainga"
>>
>>51529768
It's more like it isn't Japanese and the art style just isn't there. A different name would be appropriate, much like how Korean comics of the same format are called Manhwa, in order to fit in with the local language.

My go to threads to show how easy the minis paint themselves with a brush.

Tons of videos online as well for generic painting advice.

Hi. OP for those threads.
So glad you're enjoying those and getting great use for them! Please I'd love to see your results with that technique.

Anybody got a good source on finding battlemaps for the tabletop? Can't find jack crap.
>>
>>51530360
Only have my first Infinity model still painted and only followed the advice of the models paint themselves. I stripped everything else because I cant settle on paint schemes. Ill attach a pic of my Birgada next to my old Spess Mehrines.
>>
>>51530360
Out of curiosity, what primer did you use in those threads? I've had nothing but bad experiences with every white primer I've used.
>>
Can I get some C&C on my Qapu Khalqi list? Still relatively new to the game but wanted to throw something together that was relatively competitive

The KTS is my core, the Odalisques are a Haris with the FO Hafza and everyone else is solo, with the Ghulam Doctor there to pilot the Nasmats, plus Yuan Yuans for cheap raiding.

Anything I should change? Maybe find a spot for a hacker?
>>
Hey so can someone give me a run down on the new sectorials coming out with the next book? Buddy is asking and for some reason my shit isn't working.

I started into Infinity because of Kingdom Death, and pewter is very durable so i wasnt afraid of fucking the minis up. So I decided paint these CB minis and then fell in love with the rule set and the company itself, siestas an all. Then I ordered stuff, had mispacks and then they sent me replacements for free, fucking bro-tier company.

So attached brigada is my first victim after not painting for years. My camera is shit and I painted it relatively like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRWwhhUQHjc speed this up dudes.

I more or less followed that video for the red areas, turning purple into red. But for the musculature it was a simple emerald "wash" over silver. It was so bright I used the strong tone over the whole mini and everything looked far more unified. I thought the emerald would sink into hexagonal crevices but it coated the whole musculature, and I started doing research.

I have massively improved upon my painting skills but I keep this Brigada as a reminder of my new start.

I have really one question for you Killionaire, what are the exact mediums you use? I asked in a /WIP/ thread but it fell off the board. Also I would love to see you do a video tutorial. I can only learn so much from words and slides.
>>
>>51531349
This close up pic doesn't demonstrate the tabletop presence each model has. FYI.

The GW model is pretty much exactly the same at every level of examination. Close up th ebrigada is alright, but further out with a regular eyeball and it has shadows and depth not represented here, partially becuase of my garbage photos.

The Brigada has about 2 shades of every color seen, not present in the photo, and all this praise is for mini that was painted by someone that was years out of practice.

I have had massive successes following Killionaires guidlines, the minis paint themesleves, and uses "wash" techinques. Ill update when I figure out a paibnt scheme I like for Bakunin.

Nothing is 100% confirmed, but from what I remember reading it's roughly along these lines:

PanO:
Gets Varuna, with resculpted Kamau, ORCs with spooky atire, Cutters, Croc-men, and some other stuff I don't care about.

There have been rumors floating about of a Svalarheima sectorial, that is to say, the nordic units like Nisses and Jotums, but it seems that such plans are even further out.

Yu Jing:
The long due Invincibles. Zuyong, Yan Huo, Shang Ji seem to be among the core units, with a confirmation for Tiger Soldiers and possibly Zhanshi. Who knows, maybe ninjas might sneak in there. Overall, it'll be very hard hitting and Zuyong would make great bang for buck links.

Yu Jing also has a Svalarheima/Huang Di sectorial, which would be "classic" Yu Jing units like Shaolin Monks, Tiger Soldiers, Hac Tao, Daofei, Guilang, and Zhanshi, but it might get shelved for later.

Haqqislam:
Gets the Caliphate Sectorial, aka Al Medinat, aka Ramah Taskforce (as Bostria said "Ramah Taskforce" is most likely the official title they'll use). This includes some units introduced with HSN3 like Zhayedans, Khawarij and Mansuri, Al Fasid, Maghariba Guard, Ghulams, Saladin, and Tuaregs. It'll be rather packed with high point units and super soldiers. The Khawarij will likely get a HRL according to a Dossier.

The Khanate (with the Kum riders, Halqa, and Hunzakut) seems to be getting shelved until next book(s).

Combined Army will get a Shasvasti rework and resculpt bonanza. They aim for Shasvasti to cover the "miscellaneous" aesthetic.

Ariadna will get the Merovingians reworked, although Kazak players might have you believe they'll also do a Kazak sectorial but don't be so sure on that.

Aleph gets Vedic. Basically whatever's not Steel Phalanx and sounds vaguely indian + the Posthumans.

Tohaa will get some sectorial, although details on that are rather sparse.

Nomads get Tunguska(.ru hax), with "hollow men," Kriza Boracs, and some other things I can't remember.
>>
>>51531511
>>51531349
(THIN YOUR PAINTS) is entirely applicable to my jumppack chaplain in this photo. I easily spent a third of the time painting the power armored spaniard compared to the brit uber monk.

It makes sense. Infinity has appeal for stupid weebs who would never read something labelled a comic, but a lot less appeal for stupid anti-weebs who hate manga.
>>
Hey guys. I was in a thread last night asking some opinions on stuff as my buddies and I were going to start playing.

Decided to go with Haqqislam over Nomads for a few reasons
1) Haqqislam HI models are by far my favorite. Ooh baby
2) The fact that their medics can bring Multi wound models back to full is awesome
3) One of my friends wanted to get into Yu Jin so we split the starter (coming from 40k, ~$35 for all that is mindblowing to me)
4) One of the other guys is getting Icevale starter kit for PanO, so if I ever do want to play nomads, they're there.

So yeah what'd you guys suggest? I'm definitely leaning a good amount of multi wound HI with medic support.

FASID W/ HRL is also the coolest thing I've ever seen and seems like an awesome model for the points and gear you're getting. Azra’il too but i'd rather save the points and go for the Jannisaries.

Alright i'm rambling. Basically what supports a core like that well? There's so many LI choices I'm not sure what to lean towards

>>
>>51532756
Best Addition to Operation Red Veil for Haqqislam is a real Lt, in that case, Saladin. He's awesome all around, helps round out some order management, and really helps in deployment. Khawarij lt sucks and Ghulam Lt is lame.

To best support Saladin, he could use a Hafza decoy, that way it's not so obvious who's the Lt to kill with an assassin when there are two Saladins, plus the Hafza can be another specialist or weapons guy if needed.

Al Hawwa and/or Hunzakut is good for further mid field specialists, plus the Hunzakut is a cute model.

Ghazi Muttawi'ah are phenomenal for smoke support and return of investment. Djanbazans are nice for shooting through smoke provided by Al Fasid or GM.
>>
>>51533207
Fucking hell that's a lot for 5 points. Just got to smoke them well, though they'll probably get chewed up by my buddies PanO I'll just not use it against him, or get creative.

Primer of choice: Duplicolor Sandable White. It's the best Miniatures primer I've ever found. Cheap, available in auto stores. Used by a number of studio painters too. Superior to any game-branded primer.
Goes on ultra thin, so I love it. I also always prime white, so.

>>
>>51535431
A Hafza FO to double as Saladin is a no brainer and imo 2 Mutts is not enough to cover for having no MSV or Sensor. Missile shenanigans will be good against, say, HI links, but very inefficient against marker-state badasses. Drop the order starved Hunzakuut and maybe the engineer to make some points.
>>
>>51536016
I won't argue the actual definition, but it works as an easy way to distinguish between western and japanese comics. Otherwise it's a worthless term that means absolutely nothing, much like what "graphic novel" has become. The Infinity manga is even made by a writer/illustrator team rather than a single overworked fuck like most manga, so it bears little resemblance to most others of its kind.

I guess it is already causing outrage. Dead game dead thread by the way.

>>
>>51542574
So I suppose it not doable without an air brush?
I have redone my models the 4th time right now and they still look shit, as if I splatered them with paint.
>>
>>51542628

Possible to get that look with a dry brush of that grey on white? I think an airbrush just makes it a billion times easier to get that transition.
>>
>>51542652
Screw the transitions, I can't get the color to look flat. My models look as if someone came up to a dude and threw a few buckets of pain on them.
It sucks because the models look real nice and after what I do to them they look like shit. Can't start playing, because of it. I would be ok if they looked bad from close up, but passable from afar. Right now even If I keep them 2m away they still look bad .
>>
>>51542702

Mind posting your minis anon? You may have just hit a temporary plateau in your skills. Really want to help as a beginning painter because just discussing the techniques helps me as much as it does you.
>>
>>51542755
Dont have a way to make pictures of my models. But it is bad. Plus I have a ton of other problems, each model seems to come out different color. Doesn't matter I use the same 3 colors, tha tthe all are black or grey undercoated. my wu ming looks like shit. I mean one dude ended up in nomad colors and I don't even have a red paint :( .
>>
>>51542628
It would be very tedious. You have to layer your paints on real thin and evenly.

>>51542652
I wouldnt dry brush large flat surfaces
>>
>>51542702
You most certainly do not need an airbrush to paint somethign like a TAG really well, though some specific things will of course be easier with one. Put some primer down, mind your paint consistency, don't be afraid to paint many layers if that's what it takes, and then even if you may not be neat all the time, make sure it's all neat at the end. Beyond that, well, hard ot say from just your very general description, but "practice more" ALWAYS applies.
>>
>>51542838

Anon what paints are you using? Are using a thinner or water? How much are you thinning the paints before you put them on the brush? What primer are you using?

Trying to troubleshoot to help you. Also what's your experience prior to this in painting minis?

>>
>>51542932
Sorry, it wasn't meant to criticize. Drybrushing large clean surfaces can look very streaky. However, you can blend the transition by glazing between with a midtone.

Is it wrong to lift color schemes from other /tg/ games to use on my armies? I've been struggling to come up with a good color scheme for Aleph; I'm not fond of the studio scheme, and there's not a lot that fits with their look.

Right now I'm thinking of dark silver/gold/light blue (from Convergence of Cyriss) or off-white/maroon/gunmetal (from white-colored Phyrexians).

Nah man, it's cool. There's nothing wrong in adapting schemes if they work or you think it'd look good. My Al Fasid is pretty much painted in Carcharodon Space Marine colors and the Nomads I paint are a legacy from the Cult of Red Grief Dark Eldar for examples.

I don't. I use a plastic pipette, which only has gradations down to 0.5. I pull up enough water to reach a small way into the area where it expands from the small bore of the tip to the wide bore of the main tube. It's somewhere between 0.2 and 0.3.

I kind of a did that before a few time. All advice I got was to get better, with no explanation how one actualy does paint. It is like those guides on youtube, smug guys sits down and goes and apply color X to area Y. jump sceen his model looks awesome, I do the same and it looks shit. or worse the jump is realy big, and the models go from being touched by a brush to finished, and the guy telling now to use harder techniques.

It is rather depressing, and depression is not a good thing for me. I picked up modeling as part of my psychotherapy, as hobbies and focus on them can help a lot, offten in cases when drugs don't work. Right now when I try to paint a model my hands shake so much I have to wait 2-3 hours to get calm to even start, and if it happens durning painting I may as well ditch the model in to solvant anyway.
>>
>>51548814

>>
>>51548814
Alright, step one is to try to relax, accept that your models are going to look kinda shitty at first, and not worry about having models that look shitty. Everyone starts somewhere.

Now, the fact that you're getting wildly varying colors from the same paints suggests to me that there's something wrong with the paints themselves. Doesn't matter how shitty you are at painting, you shouldn't be getting colors you aren't painting with. How old are the paints you're using? if they've been sitting for too long it's possible that they're starting to dry out and the pigments are separating. Even if they're brand new, it's possible that you got a poorly sealed pot or something, that actually happened to me last time I bought paint. look inside the paint container, and see if the paint looks liquid or chunky. If chunky, throw them out and buy new paints.

Next, if you have any paints that don't come in dropper bottles, go to the drugstore and buy some eyedroppers. you can get them for cheap, and it'll help tremendously. Use them to experiment with different water:paint ratios. Start with 1-2 drops of water for every drop of paint. get a feel for how thinning alters the consistency of paint, and find a consistency that works well. Be prepared to apply multiple coats of paint, especially for lighter colors. Load your paintbrush by dipping it in your thinned paint and letting it wick up into the brush, then lightly drag the brush head across a paper towel/napkin/newspaper/your face to get the excess paint off before applying to the model.

Above all, be patient. Don't be afraid to experiment and try new things, see what works for you. Remember that you're typically going to be seeing the model from no closer than arm's length, and small mistakes and imperfections aren't going to be noticeable at that distance. The worst thing that can happen is you make a mistake and have to strip the model to try again.
>>
>>51550044
>accept that your models are going to look kinda shitty at first,

A box of Hungries or Daturazi.

Some form of Yaogat, either the box or the solo sniper. Having some sort of MSV2 pays off.

Other stuff that you like. Only things I'd actively avoid are the autocannon Kurgat (because bad), the Raicho (not worthwhile over the cheaper Sogarat), the other Oznat (you only need one) and the other Raktorak (ditto)

Almost anything from the Morat line.

>Hungries or Grunts
Whichever one you want for cheerleading. If you run double soggies take the cheaper hungries. Grunt hacker is pretty handy.
Grunt+Anyat Fireteams are also good.

>Kornak
He gives you +1 order, is meaty, and you don't care if he dies as Lt. cause Morats.
He can also make a 3 man fireteam with double soggies, which is fun.

>Yaogats
MSV so that's good. Sniper is useful. Also shotty/spitfire fireteams are good.

>Rodoks
Probably my fav unit. They're more "movement-flexible" compared to most Morat stuff and they hit pretty hard.

>Drones
Always useful. Evo hacker is good. Turret drone is always good. Can also be cheap orders while giving you more toys like sniffers etc.

>Daturazi
They carry smoke, which is always good. Take 1 or 2 you won't regret it.

>Soggies
The bruisers. They're badass. You don't need to get another unless you want t run the kornak special though.

They just tease a lot of stuff by randomly mentioning them at conventions even if they're stuck in development hell for literal years.

They were supposed to release their xpac they've been teasing for what feels like half a decade this year but that got pushed back yet again for reasons.
Same for Kazaks/Varuna/Savalrarharheem/year of tohaa etc.

Meanwhile they push out stuff like mangos, pinups, TAG pilots (no one uses tags anyway), and continuously make new sectorials before filling out the ones they have. Or updating the ones that need it (MRRF).

They also say they make new stuff based on sales. So if something looks like hot dogshit (PanO Auxilia) but everyone uses it because it's good (read as; mandatory), they won't resculpt it.
>>
>>51552950

That sounds like some major bullshit. Any reason as to why?
>>
>>51552950
CB, still has an indie manufacturer mentality. They often resculpt models simply because they like them.
>>
>>51552683
The main problem with the Raicho is the fact that Sogarats exist. The extra 35 points just aren't worth the upgrade to a generic and lacklustre TAG. The fact that it's a morat isn't all that relevant when all the alternatives are also morats, or otherwise have something interesting going on.
>>
>>51552996
Basically this.
>>51553011
They're still a small company that's getting/acting big. Diversifying the portfolio to create interest with the rpg/comic is a smart business move.

But at the end of the day it's still 3(4?) guys at the top who make literally all the decisions. It's a private company. They can make whatever waifu mini they want as long as they're making money.

Also dude mentioning something at a convention really could just be something he's still got in the drawing/discussion phase.

>>51553016
Good point.

FTFY. It wouldn't be the first time a company forgot about breaking even.

And I love them for being actual people and not a company. The moment they go publicly traded, I'm gonna sell most of my Infinity stuff. because I still love the game so I'm gonna keep one faction.
>>

>CB, still has an indie manufacturer mentality.

>>
>>51553145
If he wants to play Tikbalang, he'll probably want a Regular link.
I always advise to get both the old and new starter if one does not mind different sculpts and he can find them on sale. It gives you a ton of Regulars for Orders, two knights ready to Duo up and two different Akalis, both in their most common loadout.
Nagas are pretty good. He should get Nagas. Drakios and Scylla are also great options.
Bagh-Mari Core link is a mainstay, although not sure how can one fit them and Tikbalang into one list. But even a single Bagh-Mari can be useful, especially a sniper.
Aside from that this year should have a few more Acontecimento releases, like more new Regulars or a new knight. But of course we don't know yet.

Tournament in a couple weeks. I don't really get to play outside these little gatherings, so when I want to fiddle with new stuff I gotta grind my nose on the more competitive players (if I get matched to them anyway).

I own all the Fiday models, but I like the idea of jumping ahead and laying mines if there isn't much for me to single out and stab in the dick.

I'm also running smoke but not using warbands just to see how well I can push it. I own both Ghazi and Kums (and I often take Kums because motorcycles are cool).

Halqa I've never used, so thought I'd go heavy on it.

And lastly my usual thing, double daylami tankfisters.

Only 12 regular and 2 irregular orders, and not running my other usuals like hunzakuts, but I'm still bad at time management so I always aim to keep things 15 orders or less.

Let's see how well I do against all the SP and MAF around here.
>>
>>51553492
Halqa are better in small numbers. Just one or maybe two is best, more will just make a juicier target for templates.

You know, that looks like something I'd play. 10 Orders, 7 specialists, with Bagh-Mari as a defensive link. Lots of Mimetism and some MSV1 and Direct templates. And it doesn't even require the starter.
I should try this out sometime, I'd just have to proxy everything aside from the TAG.

The only really thing I'm hyped for is ORCs like this painted by Studio Giraldez. Because I like ORCs a lot and they deserve some respect.
Varuna already has some staple units like Croc Man or Cutter, so as vanilla player it wouldn't be too much of a transition for me, as long as Fusiliers remain in (though I don't use Cutter because it looks awful, like most TAGs).

Other than that I am more curious about Svalarheima. Possibly because I chose to paint my PanO in winter camo, so they would not stand out as much next to white-armoured knights (they still stand out though because I went for red capes). And then I learned about the Winter Force.

Which ALEPH units do you expect in Varuna? Nothing in ALEPH has aquatic terrain, so there's no dead giveaways. Maybe we'll see Devas again.
>>
>>51560522

For some reason I really want little submarine shaped remotes or aleph hotties in bakinis.

That ORC and their quick reaction force from Varuna are top notch. I just want Sval for the jotums and white PanO troops.
>>
>>51560642
Svalarheima might turn out to be the most brutal of PanO factions. Their basic infantry are Fusiliers, so likely AVA total on them; linkable Nisses will become a nightmare; Hospitallers are stationed there, so cheap-ish HI half-confirmed; and then there's Jotum, nothing subtle about an ARM10 TAG.
Nilfheim is supposedly a powder keg, I expect some really heavy equipment from both Winter Force and White Banner.

How close can a Nomad army get to all cat/foxgirls + robots/mecha?
>>
>>51563131
Bakunin: 3x Uberfallkommando, Daktari with Zondbot, Zoe + Pi-Well, Kusanagi Lt with Spitfire.
Bots: Tsyklon w/ Feuerbach, Reaktion, Meteor, Salyut Minesweeper, 2x Stempler.
Each time a foxgirl dies you move one of the extra Remotes into the main group. Or make it 9/4 with one of them in the second one.

You have to do this through an external site, Modiphus I believe.

New to Infinity, some experience with wargaming, mostly of the fantasy variety, I know there isn't magic, but what faction would be best for someone who loves to play Necromancer type factions? Things like status affects, poison, and heavy area control through a large amount of interesting units really appeals to me, so what faction do you think I'll do best with? Combined Army looks semi interesting, but would love to hear the recommendations of experienced players.
>>
>>51566377
Nomads are often said to be the kings of board control. They have good cheap minelayer infiltrators, a ton of Crazy Koalas, wide access to stuff like light flamethrowers or adhesive launchers and let's not forget their famed hackers and repeater network.

VMC Bleck Red > Red > Carmine Red. It's the same combination I use to get a deeper maroon/red on my brushed miniatures, but I'm new to airbrushing and wasn't anticipating the colors being so light.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you could probably use some good shading/highlighting techniques under your belt, because most of those still have all their detail but it looks a little flat and wants to just lump into a "human" form instead of define one. I speak from experience as someone who does really simple, table quality paint jobs bc laziness

RAW, it's only when that specific model doesn't exist:
>Each figure must represent faithfully the unit it stands for, including its equipment and weapon options. Should the appropriate miniature not be available on the Infinity range, you can use a different Corvus Belli miniature as a stand-in, but you must inform your opponent unequivocally of what that figure represents.

Was playing Supplies against one of the newer players. He's picking up new tricks relatively fast, using White Noise through a Repeater on an objective that both my Gao Rael Sniper and Nikoul had eyes on. Then he saunters up his Szally, dismounts, snags the box, and then saddles back up. He had some solid lanes covered and mines near most of the objectives. Had to jump snipe my Kotail to KO his rocket launcher and eat a bunch of AROs for my troubles. I only managed to pull a win due to lucky crits/saves and the fact i brought a K1 instead of a viral combi.

I must admit, as the foremost proponent of the HMC in my group, it was deeply ironic and uncomfortable to be on the receiving end of it.

Quick rule clarification:

I have regular AD troopers which are (extremely) impetuous. Can I use their own regular orders (which are not added yet to the order pool) to cancel their deployment?

AD rules say "[...] an undeployed AD trooper still generates an Order USABLE ONLY TO DEPLOY WITH AIRBORNE DEPLOYMENT."

Do I have to spend regular orders from my order pool in order to hold impetuous AD troopers back?

You can still pre-order through the Modiphius site. It has been delayed a lot, but Modiphius really seem to have to have lit the fire. I'm a backer and from what I have heard the book is basically done at this point.

I'd hurry up and pre-order. At this rate the RPG will probably be out in PDF by the end of this month.
>>
>>51583233

>>
>>51582615
Nah, the rules for impetuous state you have to spend a regular order from the order pool. Since they are in AD their order does not go into the pool, it can only be used to bring them on the board.
>>
>>51583187

Hackers are different profiles.

>What about using those models that are just carrying CCWs and no guns? Can you use them for any ranged profile?
RAW, fuck you they're illegal. RAI CB, probably get to proxy as the basic profile. RAI non-CB, events usually have some proxy allowance anyway, official rules or no.
>>
>>51587419
Holy shit, now that's a nostalgia bomb. Used to watch this as a kid.
>>
>>51585686
>What about using those models that are just carrying CCWs and no guns? Can you use them for any ranged profile?
Yep, pretty much. The Icestorm Father-Knight can be used for any ranged profile, although Spitfire now has his own model.
And then there are some models with incorrect equipment, e.g. Chimera has a pistol on her despite her profile lacking one and Corregidor starter Hellcat has an underslung Light Shotgun, which is a holdover from N2.
Also the community is usually pretty lenient about proxies, don't sweat it.

>>51588973
>RAW, fuck you they're illegal.
How'd you get that?
>>
>>51589003
>How'd you get that?
See previous quote from ITS rules. Must represent weapon options -> mini doesn't have weapon options -> doesn't represent anything faithfully. So taking it literally, you're not allowed to field the official minis you bought. I very much doubt it's the case in practice.
>>
>>51589457
A CCW or pistol is still technically a weapon option, it just happens to be one that all the different profiles share. You don't need to have all the weapons of your chosen profile, just some of them.
>>
>>51589457
By that reasoning none of the existing Fusiliers or Algauciles are tournament legal: not a single one of them has a knife. Yet all profiles include knives.

"Must represent weapon options" includes CCW options. 3 of the existing Magister Knight models have only Panzerfausts and AP CCWs on hand, does that mean they don't represent having Light Shotguns and thus only the guy with Light Shotgun in hand and the ML ones are legal? Of course not, because *some* of their weapons are represented and they don't have sculpted weapons that their profiles do not include.
>>
>>51589457
must represent weapon options =/= must represent ALL weapon options (otherwise I doubt there would be more than a handful playable minis in the entire game)

>>51589624
So can I legally use the Icestorm CCW Farìther Knight as a proxy for the spitfire FK even if the specific model exists? After every profile have a CCW.
>>
>>51589899
>So can I legally use the Icestorm CCW Farìther Knight as a proxy for the spitfire FK even if the specific model exists?

I disagree. Halqa are good but they are just line infantry at the end of the day. And starting halfway up the board can attract a lot of unwanted attention when you're just a line infantry. You want two at least or three (four I agree is excessive) with different weapons and skills to watch each others backs. If I'm taking Halqa at all I'll try and go for HMG, Doctor & Hacker.

If you've only got one then that minimizes the unwanted attention. You don't play Qapu Khalaki? Because if you did, you may have had strong feelings about N3 too.
I play phalus, so the emergance of shock weapon everywhere didn't make me fall in love with N3 either. What helps me is the fact that skillwise I am a bottom tier player, so in game out come it didn't change much.
>>
>>51591179
Yeah, but QK and SP are still top tier armies. Even shock everywhere still has a hard time going through ODD and it's not like QK lost their amazing linking capabilities or Hafza glue.
>>
>>51591179
>QK players butthurt that they aren't overpowered anymore
Oh, that explains it. Scum will be scum, after all.

And for SP missing out on camo isn't as big of a deal now as it was in N2, plus I can't use smokehopping Vector Ops to slaughter your entire army like cattle.
>>
>>51591338
I don't know, but the sniper+smoke never worked for me. Maybe it is the armies am playing against, but all seem to have 2-3 msv2 units making my high cost dudes die like normal dudes, and nerfing the super slow agama. What I would give for forward deployment or infiltration on agama.
>>
>>51591551
Try Atalanta. imo she's the best offensive sniper in the game, perfect for kicking the shit out of ARO turrets, even Intruders and Nisses go down pretty reliably against her. Normal Agema are meant for defensive work.

Most of your killing should be done with links or Achilles, though. That's what SP is really about.
>>
>>51591179
>>51591338

I play QK and didn't notice any negative change. Duo links, price drops and the buff up to BS13 on Sekban in HSN3 means they're still great. On top of that Hafza got an HRL profile and can be part of a haris, giving us the formidable Haris Odalisque, Spitfire Odalisque & Hafza FO link.

I didn't even notice that much bitching from QK either.
>>
>>51591607
Not, HSN3, the original N3. And the reason some QK scumbags were complaining isn't that they got nerfed, because they didn't. It's because other armies got buffed to somewhere approaching their level.
>>
>>51588973
That's a weird thing to say. Somehow I remember reading that if something is in a "close combat pose" with no visible weapons, it can represent whatever guns are available for the model.
>>
>>51591631
I bitched because I liked my KTS links to be cheaper. They're still a good premium LI, but super expensive without Hafzas.
