Sup /tg/? I'm trying to build a world but I'm having some issues. How do you guys name things? I find it oddly hard to do so.

I just make up names that I think sound cool because I don't obsess over what a bunch of neckbears on /tg/ think.

Usually using random word combinations, or using a mix of other languages or a modification of a scientific name.
It took me way to long to realize that's a pic of three pigs eating.

Awww Piggies!
Hey, listen: how to name things? It's really easy. Look up the Atlas of True Names
It's stupid good for naming places, because real place names are incredibly stupid. There's a place in Scotland named that was named "Hill" in ancient gaelic. When the romans moved in, they named it (ancient gaelic Hill) Hill, in latin. And in modern times, it became (ancient Gelic, Ancient Latin) Hill. Hill Hill Hill", when you translate it all.
There's fucking tons of places with really stupid names when you get right down to it, hell, you probably live in a place with a stupid name,

Easiest way is to try and make 5 place names, people's names and organization names a day.

>Thumbnail looks like a dick

Oh wow, now that you mention it, it does a little

Those adorable little things are not dicks!
Open up the Bible, preferably to Genesis. Boom, you got a dozen people's names, along with a half dozen places.

holy shit it took me like 15 seconds to realize what the pic was and I only did because it said pigs. My brain wasn't comprehending the image. Like, you know when you forget a word and its on the tip of your tongue and you just don't have it? Or like someone says something and it just goes in one ear and out the other despite trying your best to pay attention? That was my eyes with this image. I honestly thought it was some variation of a guy with his dirty ass in the air and like a giant dick but I knew that couldn't be what it was.

I thought it was going to be a dude with a fucked up asshole because of the center pig's head.
