Here's a pretty decent-looking Only War game that's recruiting, for those interested. Was sad that with the amount of effort the GM seems to have put in, it hasn't gotten many applications. Has a neat twist on the usual theme, with players serving in a Rogue Trader's personal military instead of the Imperial Guard. As a bonus, it's text-only, which seems pretty uncommon for Roll20.

setting is late 70's early 80's africa in a south africa/rhodesia/angola/congo brush wars type of situation. players will roll up civilians (local or from the former european mother country, or any anglosphere/nato country) living in said fictional nation during this timeperiod.
players that own Arma 3 and Apex are preferred but ultimately not necessary (i want to run some ops using it with you guys playing equivalencies of your characters, just for fun).

There were a couple ways I handled it was one of four ways.

1.) They were in the Topaz Championship when the campaign started, so they had some leeway to make "mistakes" so long as neither of the men go to caught
2.) Some people are more than willing to skip some steps in the courtship process, but it would be -really- bad if you got caught.
3.) It was with co-workers (the party, they were emerald magistrates after the championship), so they had plenty of time to do lewd things with each other without being found out.
4.) Temptation. Yes, this -is- dishonorable, so don't get caught and be prepared to deal with potential blackmail material if you think with your dick instead of your head.

Essentially, the cardinal rule was "Don't get caught". Most marriages in Rokugan are arranged and loveless anyways, so no one cares if you see other people so long as you don't get caught, cause getting caught dishonors everyone involved. Plus, there's also an element of "Don't ask questions you don't want to hear the answer to". The peasant isn't going to mouth off to others that he saw two samurai doing the dirty in the woods while he was hunting, not unless he's -very- careful in how he blackmails you. Subordinates aren't going to tell people you've been doing lewd things either, even if they know, because that falls under loyalty; Not embarassing your master and looking the other way when she comes back with a man that isn't her husband.

There was also one case where a PC was being blackmailed specifically -for- sex. Scorpion ninja was caught snooping in a Crab woman's castle, but said Crab woman was very upset unsatisfied with her husband and the lack of children they had (only one). So she made sure he escaped and kept his identity a secret, but in exchang she kept in touch with him and used him for sex. And he wouldn't dare try to out her for infidelity, because she was of higher status and could rat out his identity at any time.

Playing a horror game where everything is shit and nothing can get better is just fucking lazy and sort of boring, because nothing new comes after the premise is established. Horror means that bad shit will go down. And if then the bad shit goes down no matter what that's kinda boring.
It's why the first saw was better than the others following it, and why the ring and europa report and alien 3 felt so fucking cheap. In the end you have to see some light and the actions done by the characters have to matter at least somewhat for the audience to be able to dwell on the story and contemplate what was actually going on otherwise it's just "nothing gained, the last 2 hours were a waste of time, fuck off."

This is even worse in roleplaying games.
If things really cannot get better in the setting then player agency is limited to rolling attacks in combat.

If you are referring to lewd materials, I have a token degree of experience in roleplaying on-screen sexual activities.

However, I much prefer to keep games "ecchi." That is, scenarios and NPCs can certainly be quite suggestive and titillating, and on-screen nudity is possible, but any explicit sexual acts are glossed over.

For the sake of a contact of mine, I have recently been running a campaign that includes explicit, on-screen sexual activities every single session. It is not my specialty, but it satisfies the player, and so I like to think that my duty as GM is being fulfilled.

Said contact of mine claims that I have been rapidly polishing my proficiency at describing such actions.

As for your specific campaign, it depends on how often you would prefer for these on-screen sexual activities to take place. If you had envisioned a highly pornographic game involving explicit sexual activities every other session, then I would prefer to back down. Something more infrequent, such as once every three or four sessions or so, would be more palatable to me.

Exalted 3e is not particularly to my liking, I am afraid. Its mechanics are a smidge too "dice trick"-focused for my liking. As well, I am a fan of playing crafters in kingdom-building campaigns, and let us just say that Exalted 3e's crafting is certainly something special.

I am more keen towards Godbound for kingdom-building demigods, even though *that* game has its own slew of problems, which I have gone over in various Godbound threads here in /tg/.

If you are dead-set on running Exalted 3e, then I can simply back down.

I would be warmer towards giving Exalted 3e an earnest try, in that case.

I suppose a one-on-one game of Exalted 3e solves the issue of its combat system falling apart when multiple PCs gang up on a single enemy to keep their initiative crashed. The combat system is a bit *too* slanted towards focused fire, but that is less of an issue with only one PC.

In a one-on-one game, you can still have a combat monster who starts with an ungodly amount of initiative and then kicks an enemy into initiative crash nigh-immediately, although that will take a greater amount of the "party's" proportional resources.

You will have to forgive me lore-wise, however; Exalted's setting simply is not anything I have given much of a read into beyond the barest basics.
