There is setting consisting of factions represented by generic fantasy elements: Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Light, Darkness.
And I can't decide on color schemes. I know it sounds stupid, but I just can't come up with proper palette for Air.
You see, colors, just like elements themselves, should have some sort of antagonism between each-other. Red Fire against Blue Water, White Light against Black Darkness. But what to do with Air and Earth? Air doesn't even have a color, and white is already reserved. I thought about doing Light in yellow, but it works against this whole Black vs White theme.

Pic unrelated, I hope. You have six elements?
Fire = red
Water = blue
Air = green
Earth = orange
Light = yellow
Dark = purple
If you can bump that up to eight elements...
Fire = red
Water (includes ice) = blue
Air (includes electric) = cyan
Earth (includes metal) = orange
Wood (includes poison) = green
Light = yellow
Dark = purple
Psychic = magenta

Only six, pic in unrelated.
>Air = green
Why? This bothered me since Bionicles.

Hell if I know, but it's quite common.
