What setting do people use with Calibre to covert epubs to PDF?

I'm working on a mixed Eldar force, and I've decided to include Skyweaver Jetbikes from Harlequins, since I want to include some more Jetbikes, but don't want to go overboard with massed Craftworld ones.

The Captain alone got 4 wounds or something through, the other Custodes another 6. Remaining 4 were 2 from the Mechandrites and 2 from Cawl's axe.

Was my first time trying just how killy that deathstar is (considering it's built for tanking and not for sweeping units) and I was surprised how deadly the custodes actually were. Suspected they might put in some work, with 16 attacks per combat, but killing 3.3 Termies with 2+/3++/5+++ per turn is still more than expected. Their Block ability is pretty meh, since most attacks that even manage to get through will be 4s or 5s anyway.

They were all just wearing their basic spears with nothing else, really. None of them were outright killed, since Cawl's massive body blocked so much of the field that most Termies were only able to hit him anyway and the few hits that did connect ended up being healed with IWND.

Probably would've added a Vexilla if it would've been ""fair"" testing at equal points, but I just wanted to try out the deathstar. I'd probably not even use shields in that setup, since not a lot of things are realistically going to really threaten you at a level your IWND and Tech-Priest couldn't handle and in melee your 2d6+2 I10 attacks in addition to the I6 and I5 attacks of the Custodes will probably be quick enough to kill everything that might realistically kill your squad.

Any chance that this might actually work as a decent mostly-fluffy Black Templars list?

The more I fiddle around with this Formation, the more I start liking it. With a decent roll on the Command or Space Marine Warlord table, I can see this working rather well. Too bad that the damn Black Templar traits suck even in their own formation, since pretty much half of them are covered by the Formation bonuses or so situational that you really don't want to see them turn up.

New Abaddon is worse than old. He had Planet Killer, Blackstone fortress and Vengeful Spirit, each one capable of destroying planet. Cadia get destroyed by wreckage of Blackstone Fortress,(gj Abaddon). Now all his crusades was about pylons across galxy. WTF?

Generally speaking, I'd say save some points by taking a Valkyrie. It's not a serious tank-buster, but you've got other options for that. It's a decent transport, it lays down a lot of firepower against infantry and if you take the anti-vehicle options and aren't playing with DftS rules it's functional as air-defence.

Did you mean Bug and are talking about Mantis Warriors?

I can't make too many recommendations on them. They're in a weird spot because they're an assault marine army focused around footsloggers rather than jump or bike units.

For general tactics, you'd probably want drop pods with assault marines to disembark into cover and ambush people, or infiltrating scouts with cc weapons. The bonus to reserve rolls could help for teleporting assault termies, but that's tricky to pull off.

Well, I got what you meant at least. I would say that Mantis Warriors aren't in the best spot, but on a table with lots of terrain they could do good work. Move through cover is nice for many squads, and HoW + Furious Charge gives them a bit more bite in the first round. The bonus to reserve rolls helps to give some options, and things with a way to deep strike or come in later (aside from drop pods) with appreciate it.

So I just started reading the Ultramarines/Iron Warriors series by Mcneill. Pic related is what I've got and I'm wondering if I've got it all and if the reading order on the right is correct. And if it is, where do the 4 short stories fit in between the ones in the timeline.

Clean your mold lines before painting. It's and easy step and makes models look a lot better. The lines are particularly noticeable on the lasgun on the ground and the melta gunners arm. As for the paint job it looks good for a beginner's tapletop standard. There are further things you could do to improve the paintjob like edge highlights, but I think your better off trying to get your whole army to that standard first. Also think about what you want to do with the bases.

Just don't prime when it is raining/was just raining/will soon rain or when it is uncomfortably hot or cold you should be fine. Most primers are pretty good and won't fuck up unless your priming in the rain or when it's below freezing.

The stuff you have to be careful with is clear coat varnish. That stuff is very sensitive to weather although the same conditions apply.

whatever is suggested it won't matter, you need to thin your paints before you even stand a chance. Do that, then wash, and just leave it.
