What do you mean "what would happen?" Our world is under containment by one as it is considered to be barren for the needs of the Gods.

Pathfinder version of course, but then again Golarion has a lot of similarities to Faerun since it is all generic fantasy to an extent. But basically the Egyptian Gods (Osirian pantheon) actually did originate from earth but left it for better pastures. Cthulhu is likely the only recognized deity by their standards that managed to stick around but he is pretty much content to sleep here despite the majority of his faithful living off world.

They have Damage Resistances radiant; bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing from nonmagical attacks and Damage Immunities necrotic, poison, Condition Immunities charmed, exhaustion, frightened, poisoned plus teleport.
